Their issue isn't the flavor at all. It's not bad. It's passable. But their meat is just so DRY. If you don't drink the consomé, you will choke. If you don't mind dry meat, this is for you. For the owners... I would suggest using some more fatty type of meat along with the masisa. The dryness is just so bad. The homemade tortillas 10/10. Horchata 4/10. Drive through 10/10. This is a difficult review for me to write, as the circumstances are both a bit shocking and I feel is highly unethical. I ordered twice from Birrieria Guadalajara, the first time I ordered the #2, trio tacos. The second time I came with my family and ordered the #11, Birria Por Libra. No issues the first time prompted me to come back the second time as my wife really liked it. We asked the lady if all the birria was beef. She said yes, but the meat that came with the #11 order was pork mixed with beef. I eat pork, but the idea that you sell a product as beef and clearly use pork is highly unethical. First, some people don't eat pork based on their religion or dietary restrictions. Second, if you say order an all beef hamburger, you don't give someone a patty of mixed beef and pork. I was hopeful that I would like this restaurant but after this behavior will not come again. read more

Tried this place 3 times. Dined inside once, delivery, and pickup. All 3 times, food is stellar and delicious. The restaurant is new and clean with a drive thru which is a plus. Portions are big at fair pricing with lots of meat, flavorful consommé and salsas are SPICY!!! If you've never tried Birrieria (Mexican beef stew) this is a great place to try it out. That's all they sell so it's good. The menu is simple and quick, but the service is a bit awkward as they just opened up. It's a chain but run by a nice mom and pop shop. Most importantly, it's very affordable as you get a lot of food AND they have a drive thru. I recommend the number 2 , quesabirriera and 2 tacos durados. You get a little cup of consume to dip your tacos in. The best deal is the big $5 quesabirriera by itself. The salsa will bring it to another level. I usually don't review, but thought it would be helpful so they can provide better customer service. My family and I will not go back, but for future costumers. When I called to ask if they do beef or lamb birria the guy that answer the phone, didn't say anything and just handed the phone to someone else as like "phone order, don't want to deal with that". I decided to give it a try since they said it was beef and ordered DoorDash. We ordered tres tacos dorados with consome (they were okay, but tasted better with a salsa roja they add on the side), birria plate (probably the only one thing that had some flavor), and birria with ramen (the lid wasn't properly closed and everything fell out like you see in the picture and the ramen tasted old. This one tasted really bad). Also, it's true what one of the reviews says about them promoting themselves as beef birria and mixing their beef with pork (picture shows dark meat, which is beef and white meat, which is pork. I eat pork, but I would rather have beef only since that's what I paid for. Pork is cheaper so I see why they would mix it and save money. Overall not a good experience. I ordered the #3 meal set and it was very good. The portion was consistent with the pricing. The consome dip is absolutely delicious and great to dip your tacos in. The quality of the meat is tender and the seasoning of the birria is very balanced. Just be warned that the Salsa Roja is very good but very spicy so use it sparingly. Inside it's super casual just take a seat and they'll give you a buzzer to let you know your food is ready. They take card and have a modern touch screen register.
