Our first visit to Teresa's Mexican Grill. It's a small mom and pop place with 7-8 tables. Saw its great Yelp ratings and decided to give it a try. Our server was very polite and friendly. We ordered taquitos, Carnita platter, burrito mojardo, chile relleno, and menudo. The menudo was excellent. Very delicious authentic Mexican food. Everything tasted freshly homemade. 5 stars

Excellent red pork pozole. Spicy and hits the spot. Get ready to sweat out the bad stuff after a long night. My friends enjoyed their green chicken pozole and molcajete. Watermelon agua fresca hit the spot. Decor is hole in the wall with a homey vibe and tribute to family. I like the pic, who I assume is Teresa. holding a Modelo haha Eat local!

Ive sat at this hole in the wall spot a few times. Each time, receiving excellent customer service and delicious food. I recommend it entirely

    Deep fried burrito.

Goid friendly atmosphere. I had the carne asada burrito. Very mediocre. It wasn't terrible; it wasn't great. It was mostly rice. The meat was scant and was not a good cut of beef. The soda was warm. They did not have fresh salsa for the chips.

    Café de olla DELICIOUS!!

You never go wrong with anything you order from here. Parking is accesible and customer service is impecable. A must try.

They are located in the same plaza as CVS, Tam's Noodle House and Dim Sum Box. There was sufficient amount of private parking for the plaza. When we first arrived, there was a lot of seats open. The staff was friendly and welcoming and said we can sit anywhere we would like. Phuong and Dat helped us the entire night and the service was fantastic. I recommend coming early because they did get busy and by the time we left every table was filled. The energy here is definitely upbeat and a great place to hang and catch up with friends. We had an incredible feast and would come back to reorder all of the dishes we tried this visit and more: Goi Xoai Muc ($15.99) - Mango salad with squid. Very light and refreshing. This is an unripe mango thinly cut and mixed in with traditional Vietnamese herbs. It also comes with some shrimp chips to funnel up this delicious salad. Oc Mong Tay Mo Hanh ($18.99) - Razor clams grilled with scallion oil. One of the least flavorful items by compare. Both my friend and I felt like the scallion oil was very light on these razor clams but enjoyed it with the sauces from other dishes. Oc Mo Bo Toi ($24.99) - Fat snails prepared garlic butter style. Delicious. These bigger snails makes them easier to pick them out with the skewers they serve this with. Ngheu Xao Bo Toi ($16.99) - Clams prepared garlic butter style. Yum. Juicier compared to the snails and absorbs the sauce well. The clam shell makes it easy to scoop up the sauce and drink it. Oc Len Xao Dua ($16.99) - Sea snails in a coconut milk sauce. One of my favorites but I know it's one of the more difficult ones to eat, cause you'll have to suck on it really hard to get the snail out. But the sauce is delicious and unique. So Diep Trung Cut ($15.99) - Scallops with quail eggs. Highly recommended by staff, They mentioned this was a popular dish. Very decadent. It was a smidge too much food for 2 people but when I asked my friend if she would remove anything, she mentioned it was all a good variety for the meal. Next time we'll need to come back with more friends to try more of their dishes.

Creamy and tomato-y. Shrimp was cooked well but the mussels were a bit overcooked. Would probably get the shrimp one next time instead of house specialty. Shrimp and grits: shrimp was overcooked, grits were fine. Super cheesy! Oyster poboy: pretty good. Oyster isn't my first choice but it was done well. Came with fries but we upgraded to the clam chowder. It was only ok. Chowda tots: fries and tots were very crispy, cooked perfectly. Toppings though made it more like a salsa or loaded potato. Nothing about it felt like chowder.

The 4 of us especially liked the white fish with basil and the shrimp with snow peas. The rice noodles with seafood and the kung pao were also good. That said, we like our food spicier, so we asked for chili oil and limes. Some dishes did have vegetables, but when I go again I'll order a vegetable dish. Service was stellar - personal, but never intrusive. I liked that we were seated immediately and still given time for our late guests to arrive. Food arrived quickly once we ordered. They were gracious about splitting the tab afterwards, but could easily have asked whether we wanted separate checks since we were 3 unrelated sets of adults that arrived separately. So, what could have been better? The chafing spoons were too small and too few, leaving us to pull the chafing plate to the edge of the lazy Susan and scrape. My dinner plate was too small, so I made a bit of a mess while eating. The main room is noisy, even with some empty tables, Next time I'll ask for a table in the quiet section (to the right when coming in the main door.) I've driven past Newport Seafood many times and not gone in because the parking lot was already full, and it's not my style to park elsewhere and walk over. I will think of them next time we celebrate a special family occasion.

The oysters were fresh, briny and paired with lots of lemon (upon request) and Tapatio. Delicious! The garlic bread was good, and supported the meal well. Our server, Nick, was great. Attentive, helpful with the menu and Johnny-On-Spot with more napkins, lemons and refills. We got there at around 5:30, without a wait (for a party of two).
