I've always loved Teresa's! Today was no different when I ordered their pambazo. Basically it's a sandwich soaked in chile de arbol(?) with a generous helping of papa, chorizo, Mexican cheese, and lettuce ... there may have also been beans in there, too. Teresa's never disappoints - service is fast, flavors are consistent, and it's clear that attention is given to detail in the preparation of all their dishes! read more

So I was going through your trying to find somewhere really good to eat and I seen this Mexican restaurant.. with high ratings. I'm like I gotta try this and it was right down the street from my job. Wow so happy that I picked this location. Great customer service my waitress was awesome. I didn't get her name, but she was great always smiling. Came to my table 5-6 times to ask if everything was great. my Mando was super fresh even on a weekday very clean establishment. I only tried the Menudo can't wait to try their wet burrito and they also have seafood so I'll be going there really soon to try everything out once again thank you so much for the great customer service and amazing food! read more

Came again recently after not having been here for a few years and it must have changed a lot or maybe new cooks or a bad day The rice on our dises was dry, stale and lacking flavor. The beans were not great either, they weren't fresh or maybe even canned. My chorizo con papas plate had a little more onion than I anticipated I wished it would have been cooked a little longer as they were a little raw. Everything else was good including service. We did try queso fundido with chorizo and that was good. Chilaquiles verdes were good. I'll come back again to update read more

I got the simple chilaquiles plate but with both green/red sauce. It was okay. Nothing to write home about. Seemed to be missing a spice/flavor. I asked for no rice double beans and I got rice. They only serve cafe de olla (no black coffee). Many takeout orders were being picked up during my visit. I gave it three stars because I can see why people would like it...it's just not for me. read more

My wife and I had some car work done, close by and we needed to get something to eat. We saw Teresa's on Yelp, so we walked over. This is a quaint little spot in a little strip mall. We had shrimp enchiladas and a huge Fish burrito with fresh pepino limonadas. Amazing! From the rice to the beans, the fresh chips, great salsas, everything authentic and made to order. We were treated better than at even the fanciest restaurants we've been to. The chef came out to have a chat with the patrons, and shared a little about how he keeps everything tasting so authentic and delicious. Great food, great service, even an awesome playlist serenading us. We will absolutely be back again, even if we have to go out of our way to eat here. read more

One of the great joints in El Monte! It's tucked away in the corner of a strip mall, but the food here is amazing! Chilaquiles are awesome, and the staff is very attentive. The pictures of the family on the wall make it feel like home. 10/10 read more

Today i walked in to this hole in the wall Gem . Was attended by there friendly customer service and latino atmosphere . Music playing classic spanish music gave it the perfect vibe . Man oh man! The Menudo from this spot is Bombdiggity.com i didn't know crack can come in a bowl of menudo. first off the juice in the menudo is mouth watering and the tripe just bursting with flavor all the time. i can't believe i've been passing by this spot and never knew they had the best menudo around! People, if you got a hangover and live near el monte go get you a bowl from this spot, you will not be disappointed. read more

I've had Teresa's Mexican Grill booked marked for months and I finally got this try this place for breakfast ! I started with a cafe de olla, excellent! I was craving rice and beans this morning so I got the huevos con chorizo and it was so flavorful! My husband got the fan favorite torta cubano, with 2 types of meat carnitas and milanesa, and wow, you have to try this and it eat at the restaurant! I think if you order this togo it might be soggy. Excellent and friendly staff with smiles on their faces! Definitely coming back here to try more of the menu! read more

Such a disappointing restaurant. I ordered chilaquiles... they were dry and the salsa tasted like it's made with vinegar? I also ordered the caldo de pollo. It was about 3/4 broth and a few slices of carrots and one chicken wing, bone and all. The only decent thing I received was an asada burrito - even though I ordered a chicken burrito. Would not recommend wasting your money here read more

Walking In the place is a small little Mexican spot to sit about 28 people the Man welcomed us in and we sat down. We got our menus and ordered chips and salsa which was really good! Next we placed our order which was a plate of carnitas beans and French fries and some chorizo queso fundido with flour tortillas. The food was really good :) read more

The cubana torta is tasty. But the bottom bread is so soggy because everything is juicy and they give lots of guacamole. The milanesa breading gets soggy too. The pulled pork is juicy. The beef burrito is good too. Equal portion of meats and beans n rice. So it's not too dry with just meats. Beans and rice is soft and flavorful. Watermelon aqua fresca is good. Very refreshing and very big cup. Sadly they didn't give us straws! We asked and they said it's in the bag...but it wasn't. Expect 10 minutes if you call to pickup. Pretty pricey tho; 3 meal + 2 drink is $45. Everything is flavorful, but hours after the meal feels so thirsty. read more

The food is super delicious, tastes homemade. The service is always friendly and quick! They always give me a 10 minute estimated pick up time and the food is ALWAYS ready on time! The prices are reasonable given the quantity and quality of food. They may not be in the best location, I had driven past the restaurant plenty of times without spotting them, but even with that challenge this place always has customers dining in and picking up orders. My favorites are the red chulada chilaquiles, red pozole and my husband loves their red pozole as well as the menudo con pata, and wet asada burrito. If they bottled that red sauce they use on the chilaquiles I would buy it. I scrape up every bit of that sauce from my plate. The flautas are pretty good as well. Now for the the reasons I didn't give 5 stars. They've messed up my order a handful of times, sometimes I returned to correct it or if I'm missing an item I call and they have provided a refund without me having to return. Sometimes they offer a free agua fresca when I do return to have the order corrected. Also some items have been a total miss. The carnitas plate was terribly dry, and I was given sliced pork! I as expecting juicy tender with crispy bits. Instead it was awfully dry pale looking slice of pork. Their chicken tortilla soup was meh. Kinda bland and didn't come with the garnishes (cream, cilantro and avocado) like it did on the Yelp pictures others posted. Overall, this place is great and is my favorite Mexican food restaurant in El Monte. read more

This food tasted as if I was in my uncle's kitchen, and that is a compliment! It tasted so good! Authentic and home made. I go here periodically, and I have to say that everything here is delicious. I can honestly say that I've had about half of what's on their menu I've had breakfast I've had lunch I've had dinner everything from steak and eggs to taquitos. Also, the fajitas are the bomb! And the service is always great. The ladies/señoras that work there are always so friendly, it's a very nice comfortable place , the place is nice and clean. It is located in a strip mall so it's out-of-the-way but do not let that fool you. So, basically, if you're in the area, go by and grab a bite. You will not be disappointed. &&& I'm sorry I don't have any pictures. It's just the food showed up. This was my 1st time at this hidden gem. Started with some queso , which was amazing. Then I Had a torta cubana and my familia had chulada chilaquiles and a green carnitas burrito. All were absolutely authentic and delicious, also presentation was impeccable. Aguas were fresh and tasty perfectly paired with my meal.(piña y espinacas ) service was superb informative with a smile, overall experience was excellent. Their mole it's self has a really good flavor, but the burrito didn't have any thing in it but rice . Also asked for avocado and they didn't put any inside Or onion or cilantro it was one big rice burrito. We also ordered a alpastor wet burrito. It had soooo much rice also . /: hardly no meat more pineapple than meat. We spent like 46$ on 3 burritos and 2 drinks. We found this cozy Mexican restaurant after seeing a promising Yelp review for chilaquiles. While everyone else opted for the chilaquiles with added asada, I decided to try the enchiladas topped with egg. Not spicy at all and very nice and crispy with good seasoning. It tasted delicious with some rice. The beef noodles were also delicious! It had good wok taste and was very flavorful. The tofu and shrimp were also good. None of the dishes were too salty and all were seasoned well and in pretty big portions, though I don't remember the exact price since they took the receipt away when we paid. But the meal was very worth and we had leftovers for lunch the next day. Such a yummy meal! I really enjoyed it! I am definitely coming back again!

We got a total of five items: a bowl of clam chowder, the soft shell crab appetizer, the roasta, the traditional pan roast with the house speciality protein (with the crab on the side because of my dad's crab allergy), and the jambalaya, which for the last three we ate with medium heat. We shared everything (except for the crab appetizer because, again, crab allergy for dad) and found the food to be delicious, with each entree coming out tasting better than the last. Personally, the roasta was my favorite with the pan roast as a close second. Very flavorful dishes with medium heat being a good level for us (wasn't spicy for our Korean palates). Service was great, our server (unfortunately forgot his name) was attentive and quick with our requests, and although he forgot a side of rice, it was for the best as the food had settled in our stomachs by then and we were content with what we ordered. The restaurant itself is well maintained with ample table space and appropriate lighting, though the music from the evening DJ was a tad bit too loud to hear from across the table. Not a big mood killer for us, though mostly because the good was that good. We're not from this area, so the odds of coming here again are relatively slim -- but should the opportunity present itself, it'll be more than fate this time to take us through these doors once again.

Two weeks before my event, I texted Danny to confirm that everything was good and to go over final details. He completely ghosted me--day after day--until Sunday the week before my event. That's when he finally responded and told me he had double-booked my date. He then tried to blame a "booking agent," even though I booked with him directly and paid him directly. To make it worse, he tried to send me to a different location 20 minutes away. After being ignored for weeks and having to chase him down myself, I had zero confidence trusting him again. The worst part? He still has not returned my deposit. Despite canceling on me, he has refused to give my money back, leaving me with no choice but to pursue legal action just to recover what I'm owed. This was extremely unprofessional, stressful, and costly. If you're planning an event, be very careful. Based on my experience, this business cannot be trusted to honor bookings or communicate responsibly.
