Big portioned carne asada fries! I saw a TikTok post about carne asada fries and had a craving for them and Alberto's definitely satisfied my craving. I came on a Thursday afternoon through the drive-thru and there was barely a line. There were two cars in front of us but they paid and picked up their food and left. The drive-thru operated very efficiently and had their customers' order ready as soon as we pulled up to the window to pay. It took us maybe 10 minutes to order, pay, and pick-up our food! Food ($15): Carne Asada Super Fries (7.8/10): Felt like a whole pound of fries, guacamole, cheese, asada, and sour cream, it also comes with beans but we opted of it! I was very surprised to feel how heavy the entire box felt! I love that they use shoestring fries but wish that it was fried a little longer so it would be a bit crispier and it wouldn't have gotten soggy as fast. There was also so much meat and it didn't feel like you'd run out of meat and have a lot of fries left over. I also wished they drizzled on the sour cream more evenly since it was mainly in one corner but it wasn't a big issue, we just mixed it around ourselves. read more

Pleased with the amount of cheese. Taquitos are hard to mess up but I enjoyed these, nice and crunchy, in a plastic container. They gave me 2 cups of hot sauce which I also appreciate. I usually love this place, but had a terrible experience today at about 12:30pm. They completely messed up our food. Gave us the completely wrong burrito that we PAID EXTRA FOR, and gave us only 2 enchiladas instead of the enchillada plate. We ordered an enchillada plate, and hubby ordered a california burrito with shrimp, sour cream, and guac added. We received 2 enchilladas, and a pork and rice burrito. We got someone else's order and this is so annoying. I can't even get a hold of them via the phone for a refund or a free burrito and plate the next visit. They let the phone ring twice and then i'm forwarded to a full voicemail. We live in Pasadena but we still drive 40 minutes to go here AND we must have waited like 20 minutes behind the person in front of us getting 5 bags of food. Not the usual staff today, so that's probably why they can't do anything right. It's really not difficult to put correct items in a bag. INSANLEY bad experience today, and I bet they won't even try to make it right. We won't be coming back. read more

It's hard to capture the value, function, and appeal of this establishment. And the default picture is not doing justice to the presentation and quality of food they offer. To the Alberto's ownership/Yelp admin, please change it to something more vibrant demonstrating the medley of pico de galo colors for example. They are open 24 hrs apparently and they seem to offer their full menu. The drive through operates smoothly. The friendly staff prepared my carne asada burrito well, and it paired perfectly with their salsa verde. I'm hyper critical of the carne asada meat quality, as many shops tend to use rubbery fat pieces but Alberto's is an exception with their massive burrito. The tortilla is also grilled perfectly. Very impressed and zero complaints especially in the late night hours. read more

No, no, no! I just had the bacon breakfast burrito and it was an absolute fail. The eggs were over cooked and the bacon was overcooked also. The bacon was so over cooked that it just pulverized with every bite and had no flavor. The reason I would still recommend is because the service is great and the dinner options are good. I came here in a pinch not expecting much, but I like this place. There breakfast burritos are good. I like that they crumble the bacon in the egg so you get little bits of bacon in every bite. The price and size are decent and fair and the sauce they give you is tasty. I also like their bean and cheese burrito as they add a decent amount of cheese, the only draw back is that the cheese is not fully melted, at least when I got mine. I think they should add the cheese first or layer it beans, cheese and then a little more beans or something. Anyway, when I am in the areas and hungry and in the mood for fast Mexican food, I will come here. read more

Food is great after drinks, the breakfast burritos are fat as hell. Open 24hrs a day this spot has been the unsung hero location after drinking, concerts and it will continue this way. Limited indoor seats but have benches outside . Service has its days but if the female staff is on shift you are serviced very fast. Male shift on the speakers have ass service. Nonetheless it's a go to for super fry's or super nachos. Don't expect for the Asada to be delicious because it is severely under seasoned .Just make sure to ask for it while done. Coming here is a 50/50 shot, If this costs 20 bucks then the fries have to at least not be refried, the other ingredients were fine even though I don't like to get it with the beans. Very upset with this Alberto's. My son found the shell of a SUNFLOWER SEED in his super fries. Disgusting because one of the cooks was probably chewing and spitting that out NEXT TO THE FOOD COOKING. I then proceeded to call and let them know hey one of the cooks is eating by the food and the woman on the phone was just very concerned about what I ordered and how long ago. Then when I told her she asked and what was wrong with it after already telling her so I had to explain slower and tell her that it is very disgusting and unsanitary to be eating this by the food. I really wanted to like Albert's Mexican Food -- and to be fair, the nachos were amazing. Super cheesy, loaded with toppings, and the chips stayed crispy even under all that goodness. Easily some of the best nachos I've had in the area. But unfortunately, the customer service completely took away from the experience. One of the workers was really rude to us -- no greeting, attitude when we asked questions about the menu, and just seemed annoyed that we were even there. It made us feel super uncomfortable and unwelcome. Good food can only go so far when the service makes you not want to come back. It was raining and New Year's Day. Not a lot of places we're open and the family wanted Mexican food so we decided on Alberto's. The drive thru was LONG but we waited (roughly 40min) and from the time we ordered to the time we got the food it was fairly quick (10min). We ordered the two taco combo plate, two tacos by themselves, and super fries. Since we got it to go and went home, of course the fries were soggy, but the amount of food was very generous. We didn't take photos of the food because it was a mess trying to get into the house with rain, baggage, and other unfortunate factors. I do wish the carne asada on the fries was more seasoned, but it was pretty good. Gonna try to order and eat the food right away for a more accurate review of how well the food is. read more

He was frustrated that we took a few minutes to order. He rushed us from the get-go.I overheard him on the intercom when he said "chingao" Once we approached the pick-up window, I asked him why he was being rude. I told him it was uncalled for.
