This is a nice spot for traditional Mexican food. It's in a small shopping mall strip with limited parking during peak hours. They have great outdoor and indoor seating. There was televisions and heat lamps for extra comfort. The food was good. The staff was very friendly and helpful with the menu.

Came here for a quick bite and it did not disappoint. Hole in the wall spot that was clean. They took out order at the table and brought out chips with salsa. We placed our order and came out in a few mins. The food was delicious and totally coming back.

Received an over cooked chili relleno. Can't believe the chef thought this was acceptable.

This is my second time ordering a huarache. The first time we had an issue with the tortilla being hard. This is the second time they give me a hard tortilla. It's disappointing. my issue this time, I called and placed an order for two huaraches and once i arrived (which took me more than 45 minutes to pick up) they let me know they didn't have any more huaraches. This is ridiculous I don't understand why they don't have better customer service and let us know way ahead of time that they don't have a specific items. do better.

The carne en su jugo tastes just like the one in Guadalajara, Mexico; fresh, comforting, and full of tradition. You can tell everything is made with care and real authenticity. Greetings, Flavor Budz!…read more I wanted to share a review for Wendy, the owner and operator, regarding her welcoming establishment. She was incredibly hospitable, especially since my husband and I were new patrons to her eatery. Naturally, I was craving tacos, as I often do. I was pleasantly surprised to discover this family-friendly eatery so close by. As you may know, they specialize in Birria, which, incidentally, is an impressive rendition of a traditional home-cooked meal. What I found most enjoyable about my dining experience was the grilled shells, which provided a delightful crunch. I appreciate various textures in my food, so I have specific preferences for how certain dishes are prepared. The flavors and seasoning combinations were also quite complimentary. I ordered the tacos, ramen, and quesabirria, and everything was delicious. The atmosphere is inviting, the food is prepared with care, and it is a family-owned business. They have now become a cherished part of my inner circle. Wendy, you and your family are truly gems, and I thank you for your hospitality.

If you're craving authentic antojitos from Ciudad Guzmán in the southern region of Jalisco,…read moreAntojitos Los Cuates in Compton is absolutely worth the drive. As someone who grew up enjoying the flavors of Jalisco, I had been yearning for the famous raspadas--large homemade tostadas--and the variety of traditional antojitos that are so popular back home. My family and I decided to give this place a try, so we made the drive all the way from Riverside County to Compton, and I can honestly say we were not disappointed. This is a small, family-owned restaurant with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The food tastes homemade, just like the meals your mamá would make in Jalisco. You can tell that every dish is prepared with care, tradition, and pride. We ordered the tostadas, tortas ahogadas, and tacos duros, and every item was packed with authentic flavor. Unfortunately, we arrived around 3:30 PM and missed out on the pozole because they had already sold out for the day. That alone tells me it's a favorite among their customers, so I highly recommend arriving early if you're hoping to try it. The service was excellent, and despite the restaurant being very busy, the staff remained friendly and attentive. Keep in mind that this is a small family-run establishment, so your food may take a little longer to arrive. However, that's because everything is made fresh to order, and the quality is well worth the wait. Places like this are becoming harder to find. If you're looking for authentic flavors from Jalisco and want to support a hardworking family business, Antojitos Los Cuates is a hidden gem that deserves a visit. We'll definitely be back. A little taste of Ciudad Guzmán, Jalisco, right here in Southern California.

Sell bottle beer and seltzer They have a condiment bar available. Taco $3.25- feels like a steep price. But the tortilla are hand made and have a nice chew. They are thick, but not too fluffy. Carnitas taco- the meat was really tasty. It was soft but still crispy with texture. A little excess oil. But was really good. Could be seasoned more. Asada- meat was soft. I ordered the asada, carnitas, al pastor, tripas, cabeza, and lengua. The asada was tender with a nice grilled flavor, but my favorites were definitely the tripas and cabeza. Both were a little greasy, but in a good way--they had a lot of flavor and were probably the standouts of the meal for me. One thing I liked was the condiment bar. You can load up your tacos with as much onion and cilantro as you want, plus they have radishes and lime wedges available. They also offer two salsas, a red and a green. Both tasted good and had solid flavor, although I was hoping for a little more heat. Overall, it's a solid taco spot, especially on Taco Tuesday. Good variety of meats, reasonable prices, and plenty of toppings to customize your tacos. I'll definitely be back when I'm in the area and craving some tacos.
