Our FAVORITE birria in OKC and we've tried many! We stop anytime we think about it!! I've been out of my way many times just for them.

I hate to say that I'm disappointed, but I am. I really wanted to like this place and support small local businesses. However, if I'm being completely honest-- this was probably my least favorite birria taco that I've gotten around here. It's $10 for a taco place which includes two tacos, beans and rice. This spot is just three minutes down the street from me, convenient. Ok let's taco bout it!! I'm not sure if it's because I came later in the day (7pm), but my tacos had twice the amount of cheese than birria. It honestly just felt like I was eating cheese. The tacos do not look anything like the birria tacos on their Instagram page either. I thought most places dip their tortillas in the consome before frying it. I did I like the consome, it was very tasty. I'm just confused on what went wrong? The rice and beans were very ordinary, nothing spectacular. I did like their sauces, I think I prefer the red over the green. They asked prior if I wanted everything on it, which I did. However no onions or cilantro were included. So I'm not sure what they meant by everything? I ordered, and then instructed that I sit and wait in my car & they will bring my order to me. That was nice. I wish they had outdoor table seating or something. Customer service was good. I'll probably consider coming back and trying this place again. read more

This place is the best. If you haven't tried it I highly recommend it. The guys who run it are really passionate and really nice. They are closed on Sunday and Monday FYI. They just added a whole lot of stuff to their new menu as well. I haven't tried it yet but it all looks good. I'm sure it is. Don't forget to leave a tip these guys are great. read more

Amazing service! We came here one late night and ordered some birria tacos, esquite elotes, chips and queso, and chicken and asada tacos. Our total came to about $30 which is a bit on the pricier end for taco food trucks. We were told to wait in our car and they would bring our food out to us which was sweet. My partner preferred the chicken over the asada tacos which were a shock to me, but upon looking at the tacos, the asada meat looked beat up and minced which was weird! My birria taco was delicious-- it wasn't the best one I've had, but it was still really tasty with their fragrant consommé. The elote was a bit disappointing, so I had to add more seasoning, mayo, and cheese. The chips and queso were amazing though. I could eat a bowl of that queso! The chips were freshly fried and not too oily. Overall, a friendly and tasty establishment! read more

I got the burrito and elote first time then tacos the second time, and ate some torta from my wife. If you are hungry, get the burrito. If you want better flavor, tacos and torta. This truck does a more limited menu than most. It has options not available at the average taco truck, and they actually do the things correctly. I get the birria and the cochinita pibil tacos. The consommé that comes with the tacos is amazing. I like the elote, too--actual grill marks on the corn, with flavor to match. If I close my eyes when I eat this, it's like I'm back in Mexico. Nine bucks a plate is a small price to pay for food that transports you. read more

Chicken quesadilla was really really good and the amount you get for the price is better than some places. The burrito was good too but there should be more meat in it compared to the amount of other ingredients in it. The carne asada was seasoned well but wasn't that great of quality due to the amount of gristle in it. read more

First time trying Birrieria Utzil and it did not disappoint! I love birria and wanted to try both the burrito and tacos with birria. The taco plate is my favorite between the two. If you have a big appetite, order the burrito! It's huge! Food does take a while, so if you're in a bit of a hurry call ahead of time. The flavor is there, and food is hot! I ate my food at home 30 minutes after I was given my order and it was still warm. Everything is fresh. Definitely would recommend! read more

This place is INCREDIBLE! We went for the first time last week and have quickly come back a second time. We've only had their tacos so far and they have all been incredible!
