Baja tacos Family size chips, salsa and guacamole Margarita on the rocks

Hands down one of my favorite taco places here in OKC. I love the location of it since it's right in the middle of the Wheeler District surrounding by other businesses and houses. It's definitely more kid friendly space since there's a park like right outside the eating area but it can be a bit overwhelming at certain times of the evening. I prefer going about an hour before close on weekdays because it's much more quiet and there's less people. Tacos are fire but honestly the chips and guacamole are the best part.

Service was great. I was charged for a full price margarita when it was happy hour and the bartender noticed before serving me and gave two drinks in lieu of a refund. People were friendly. Tacos had an earthy/dirt taste to them and for mango being in the name, there wasn't a lot of mango on the tacos. The chips and queso were just not good...soggy undercooked chips and no flavor in queso. Salsa was good with lots of cilantro. Mexican highball and frozen margarita were fine. Cute decor inside

Great service. Everyone we talked to was super nice. The tacos were amazing as well as the guacamole and the salsa. However the queso had a little bit of a weird taste. Just not for me. Everything else was great. We will be back

Love this place! Incredible location, friendly staff, and wonderfully delicious food. The chips' texture is unmatched, and steak chimichurri taco is umami at its finest. Love that they have a variety of sauces. Great variety of seating both inside and outside, and I love the accessibility to other shops and a brewery. Definitely an elite, elevated taco experience.

Food is fantastic and it has an awesome atmosphere with a huge outdoor area with a small playground. We went recently for a birthday party with little kids and it's great for them to run around and play. I got the Baja nachos and they were fantastic and more filling than just the tacos. The food is quality but really the atmosphere is what makes this great.

This is such a cool area to hang out. We came here for the Wheeler District Friday night farmers market. We had the steak chimichurri and barbacoa tacos. The barbacoa was flavorful. The steak chimichurri over was good but was lacking the chimichurri taste. Cashiers were nice and friendly. Taco prices did not reflect the prices on the menu posted on the board. They were .50c more. Taco prices were decent, chips were a little pricey.

We had the tacos, chips and dip and beef nachos. The taco portion was a good size but the value for the nachos was too small for the price. We didn't realize the chips were free refills on the chips and dip. They didn't ask us for refills until we were full. Overall it was decent. Friendly service,

Amazing experience at Taco Nation! We loved every bite, and we are already planning to take some friends back with us next week. The tacos were so delicious, and I highly recommend the tres amigos appetizer. Salsa, queso and guacamole served with chips. We got the large order and it was plenty for the three amigas who were sharing it. The guacamole was my favorite, so creamy and delicious. We had a bit of a wait, which is to be expected on a Friday night, but we easily found a table after we ordered at the counter. The cute dining space even offered some games to play while you wait. I'm ready to go back!

Plenty of street parking! When you look at the menu, you might think "wow, $5-6 a taco is kind of expensive", but they're massive. I barely could finish 3. One taco is like equivalent to 2 street tacos. I can't remember the names of each taco, however, they were all delicious!! Their chips and quest were also yummy; you can tell they're made fresh! They have bottles of various salsas at the counter that are self serve with small saucers/ramekins. Having a self serve salsa bar in the future would be a cool concept. It can get a little rowdy, esp for the weekends. Service was fantastic. Servers checked in and cleared the tables/dishes frequently. Will definitely return soon!

We popped in for an early dinner and loved everything! The atmosphere is super chill and relaxed. The employees were friendly and helpful. And the food...the FOOD! The salsa and guac are super fresh, and the chips are addictive. We also tried each of their taco sauces (with chips for dipping), and each was unique and flavorful. We tried the Steak Taco, the Baja Taco, and the Surf n Turf Taco. They all had a ton of flavor and were delicious! Definitely recommend and will definitely be back!

Great tacos for reasonable prices and excellent beverages. Spacious interior environs and also many tables. Service also very prompt and they bring you your food to the table. Got the fish and shrimp taco - both were excellent. Also got their horchata and house lemonade which were additionally exceptional. Highly recommended!

One of the many restaurants in the Wheeler District. Can get packed on the weekends, its a great place for a family outing as they have a large outdoor patio and right next to is the kid's playground. They also have table tennis and cornhole. But the main attraction is the food. Carne asada fries are fire! Definitely a shareable. Tacos are also large. My go-to is Barbacoa and unexpected the fish tacos were a hit. Definitely will have to come back to try the other items on the menu.

Excellent American tacos with children friendly environment and good service. This is definitely not an authentic Mexican taco place but still has amazing tacos. The tortillas are soft and tasty. The flavors match up here is on point. The food just tastes so fresh and well thought out. And the price is reasonable as well. I highly recommend this place to anyone. This is probably one of the best restaurants in OKC.

Is this place only open Tuesday like it's showing on Yelp?

Normally we are going to various locations throughout the week. Our main consistent spot has been Tuesdays at The Big Friendly Brewery. But we are beginning to park there on Fridays as well from 5:30pm-8pm. We still have a few private events that…

It arrived as this dramatic, beautifully constructed tower of mixed seafood topped with avocado and a whole shrimp--definitely a dish that makes an entrance. The seafood seemed fresh, but I discovered that this particular style of mixed mariscos just isn't for me. Some of the seafood had a gray, translucent appearance and texture that I personally didn't enjoy. That may simply be characteristic of the preparation rather than any problem with the dish. I only tried this one item, so I don't think it would be fair to judge the kitchen more broadly based on my personal preference. What I can comment on much more definitively is the noise. It was extraordinarily loud. I eventually pulled out my phone and measured the sound level because I genuinely wanted to know whether it was as loud as it felt. I recorded levels exceeding 100 dB, with peaks around 103 dB. The staff couldn't have been friendlier. Unfortunately, I could barely hear them. I enjoy energetic restaurants and certainly don't expect dinner to take place in a library. But there's a point where "lively atmosphere" becomes something prospective customers deserve to know about before deciding where to spend an evening. This crossed that line for me. If a very high-energy, extremely loud environment is your thing, you may have a completely different experience. If you're hoping to have a conversation over dinner without shouting across the table, I'd choose accordingly. Friendly staff, impressively presented food, and a seafood dish that simply wasn't my jam. But the volume overwhelmed everything else about the experience--and at 103 dB, that's not background music. That's the main course.

There were plenty of tables and places to sit. The hostess got us to a table and we sat and ordered our food and talked and caught up. There was this guy I can only assume he must've been a manager, he kept hovering over our table, making sure our drinks were filled even after we had got through eating and just kept hovering like he was waiting for us to leave. I looked around the restaurant and there were plenty of tables that were empty. So I don't understand why he was hovering over us and trying to rush us out of the restaurant. It was probably the worst experience I've ever had at this restaurant. I don't know if he was just racist or if he was just being an asshole, but either way if someone comes in to pay for a meal and is sitting down and talking in the restaurant isn't busy. I don't see why there's a reason for you to turn around and try and force people out. To say the whole experience turned me off and I will probably not go back to this restaurant for a while.
