    Xolos Birria Tacos
    Wayne Z.

Probably the best Birria style Mulitas I've ever tasted in recent memory. Wasn't greasy, was clean, wasn't heavy, was balanced, they made something that's normally very oily, drenched in grease and overly salted consomme into something refreshing, that I can see myself eating once every week and feeling fulfilled. Of all my experiences trying various Birria style dishes, they were either a food truck, or stall, just never in a physical restaurant. I think when you pair together the vinegarized caramelized red onions, cilantro, and yellow onions and lime, the complementing ingredients makes for a really memorable Birria experience. The restaurant is simple, to the point, packs a bowl of value, and it will keep you full for quite some time. And the staff were really helpful.

I'd rather gatekeep this spot for myself, but it was so good it deserves the recognition. The quesataco was perfectly crispy, packed with juicy birria inside. The mulita? Also fire. The chile de árbol had the perfect kick--just the right spice to elevate the whole experience. The flavor was on point, and the taco stayed crisp even with all that juicy, flavorful birria. Surprisingly, it wasn't greasy like most birria spots either. The place was clean, the service was awesome--overall, a top-tier experience.

Missed my bus so I figured I'll go grab a quick bite and this place was close to the bus stop on Holt/Euclid. Let me tell you this, this place hits the spot for sure I'm glad I have it a try. Not familiar with Birria but hey it was delicious nonetheless. Worth the try frfr. Place is very clean as well as the restroom. Customer was also very friendly and welcoming. Cheers!!!.

I was in the mood for ramen and this placed popped up in my search. Certainly not was I was expecting as this is a Mexican joint and not Japanese. However, I was intrigued as I just love birria. I was able to grab a parking spot on the street out front since I found no parking in the rear. The place is small and has about 8 tables. I was tempted to forgo the ramen and just get some tasty tacos but I did want the soup. It did not disappoint. For $9 it was a good sized portion. I had to wait three minutes for the brick of dried noodles to soften but it was worth the wait as the broth was insanely hot. It came with packets of lemons, cilantro, raw onion, pickled onions and hot sauce. What a great bowl of soup! The birria meat was lean and tender and the broth was silky and flavorful. A very good meal and I cant wait to try the tacos.

I ordered these birria tacos for the first time and they were absolutely delicious! I ordered 4 thinking they would be thin and small but these are pretty big and filled. They came with plenty of onions and cilantro and included salsa. I definitely plan to come and get more of these tacos

This place was rather tasty. It is a very small place and not designed for huge groups or anything. It was a nice place for a quick lunch during a break between classes. The servings are very big and fresh. The service was good. There is not much more to add as far as service.

The greatest thing about Birria (goat meat) is that you can eat it for Breakfast, Lunch , and Dinner! The goat meat & its broth is a cure all lol ! It's so flavorful and the greatest Mexican invention ever! This restaurant is a huge hit here in Beautiful Ontario CA. when it comes to Birria', they offer Soft or Crunchy Tacos, Quesabirria' , Burritos, Tortas, & Mulitas. They dedicate themselves to "Birria" only, with the exception of a few select side dishes like beans, rice, ramen noodles "QUE"?! Yes if you want this Soup they got it! I prefer the crunchy Tacos with cilantro, onions, lime and their signature salsa, dipped in hot goat broth (sold separately) AH so delicious! I'll be coming back for their Quesa Birria, and those ramen noodles. I'm honest here on Yelp! The owner states he uses Beef instead of Goat Meat; Not a deal breaker for me!

Flew into the Ontario Airport today and was looking to grab something for lunch in the area. Our Yelp search led us to this spot. On a Thursday, just before noon, there was quite a bit of street parking available. The aroma of the birria hits you as you walk in the door. It wasn't busy, so we were able to order right away. This was our first birria experience so we wanted to try a few different things. We ordered the birria tacos ($2.75 each), quesatacos ($3.50 each), and a burrito ($7.99). The interior was very clean- all the chairs were lined up against the walls and no tables to eat indoors (due to COVID). They have a touchless hand sanitizer dispenser prominently displayed by the front. We got our food quickly. We decided to eat in the car because it smelled so good, we were slightly hangry, and didn't want to wait to get to our destination. Inside the bag were 2 trays covered in foil (one with the tacos de birria and one with the quesatacos), our burrito wrapped in foil, and a bag generously filled with toppings to add to our items (chopped raw onion, pickled onion, chopped cilantro, lime wedges, and containers of salsa) that were all bagged separately and put into the one large bag. All the food was piping hot, which was awesome. The birria meat was so tender and juicy. The only difference between the tacos de birria and the quesataco is geese between the two tortillas in the quesataco. So, I would say biggest bang for the buck is the tacos de birria because they include a lot of complementary things to add to your taco already. Both were tasty though. The burrito was hefty. It was filled with birria meat, beans, and rice. The flour tortilla was soft with a nice fresh chew. The only things we noticed was a little inconsistency in filling the tacos with birria meat- some were packed a little more than others. But overall, we had plenty of food and it was all very enjoyable. We left full and happy with our choice to get lunch here. We all agreed that we would definitely come back again if we are in the area.

Family pack eating in the car

Our first time here , we ordered the family pack Brirrieria with Large consume ( soup broth to dip ) , large shredded beef and 10 , two layer tacos with cheese in the middle and they are generous with their condiments . This visit fall short of a 5 star. 1- we ordered 2 family pack meals ( we only received 10 tacos, missing 10 more ) So it was hard to share 10 tacos with a family of 6 . 2- the lady at the front end cashier not so friendly and doesn't seem like she was willing to explain the menu to me . Yes. I saw the menu but curious what's the difference from the family pack meals tacos to ordering ala crate brirrieri tacos. ( we found out while eating that the family pack tacos is soft , not fried crispy , if we would had ordered the ala carte. ) 3- their consume were a little bland and their beef lack salt and extra spices . Per kids it was ok. Better then a few other restaurants we tried in the past. 4- not very generous with the cheese in the center of the tacos . The cheese were spread sparingly. Since we had an entire family pack meal untouched due to missing the extra tacos. I took their consume and the meat home and adjusted the flavor to our liking . This time the kids had their crispy brirrieia with extra cheese as requested and boy it tasted so much better. Will we go back ? Of course when we are in the area again. Definitely make sure to look over our order before driving off.

Having a craving for birria tacos and lunch break at work (admittedly work from home), I decided to try out a nearby birrieria, namely Birrieria Xolos. Street parking was readily available, so I did not need to walk far. The establishment, while open for take-out, had otherwise reconfigured its operation for Covid compliance, with the usual requiring of masks, availability of hand sanitizer, and removal of indoor dining tables. At the counter, I ordered for myself 2 birria tacos ($2.75 ea), 2 quesatacos ($3.50 ea), and a small consome ($3), totaling $15.50. My order was fulfilled w/in 5 minutes. The birria tacos tasted like stewed meat wrapped around a stewed-meat-soaked carb. The garnish helped cut that a bit, but it still tasted like a veritable cornucopia of umami. This, of course, is exactly what I expected. The quesatacos expanded on the birria tacos, with each of the former having a layer of melted cheese. This added a different sort of umami flavor, that of a reserved but omnipresent flavor of a mild cheese. Consequently, the palate went from an initial umami explosion (from the birria tacos) to a slower, more consistent, and equally potent delivery of flavor. Lastly, the consome provided more stew flavor in the form of stock. The stock seemed rich enough to be a soup, but not rich enough to act as dip. If you're going to use it like au jus, it's not that concentrated, though still quite the flavor enhancer. I don't often get birria tacos, usually because all the water in my body turns into salt. When I do, however, I want a no-holds-barred assault of flavor of my tongue. Birrieria Xolos seems to deliver this.

My family has been craving birria tacos for a while. I chose to get a birria combo ($9.99) and several taco dorado for $2.90 each. My family liked this place alot, tacos were a good size and the meat was tender. The consome was not greasy. The combo came with bean and rice on the side with tortillas. They gave enough meat on the combo to make several tacos. The staff was nice. Located next to Tmobile on the corner of Euclid ave and Holt blvd.

I've had this place bookmarked forever and finally found myself on this side of town, somewhere I…read morerarely go. So glad I made the trip. I walked in on a Friday evening and was surprised there was no line. I was immediately greeted by a woman who took my order, great service from the start. The two women working were doing everything themselves, from taking orders to making the food fresh, and still kept things moving at a very reasonable pace. I ordered the shrimp burrito with light rice and got the chipotle sauce on the side. They also have a CLEAN self serve bar with salsas, cucumbers, and limes, which is always a nice touch. The burrito was huge and so good. My plan was to eat half in the car and save the rest for later... but I ended up sitting in the parking lot and finishing the whole thing. Every bite had perfectly seasoned shrimp, no skimping at all. The interior is clean, minimal, and has plenty of seating. 10/10, definitely recommend.

I ordered the birria fries, birria empanada & my bf got the pastor fries with a fish taco plate! All the meats were good & quality meat. They have a lil salsa bar you can get your own salsas. The limes & cucumbers were already almost gone but maybe they didn't want to restock it since there was only an hour left til they closed. Enjoyed our meals. The agua frescas were delicious as well! Horchata & pina were our fave(: They're a busy lil spot, found parking right away. I will say they are on the pricey side so just be aware
