Great food, service fast and the restaurant was clean. Parking was a bit of a hassle but over all good food

I searched this place after taking my kids to Slick city, they both wanted some seafood and it did not disappoint. When we arrived it was completely empty, a small but clean little restaurant with welcoming waiters. As we got our food more people started to arrive and soon it was almost a full house. We had chips and guacamole, two orders the shrimp ceviche, which were two tostadas in an order but the plate was massive in my opinion, and the taco gobernador which was also really tasty! Had us a Jamaica and this was so refreshing, along with the orange bottle soda. At the time of my visit they weren't serving adult drinks so I decided to order aguachiles in green sauce to-go. These shrimp were Big! Everything was really delicious, I would love to return again. You won't even think by looking at the building that you'll find this place with great foods. read more

Ordered half a dozen oysters, we're not cold enough and within 6 hours we were sick throwing up and more. Ended up in urgent with norovirus. Wouldn't give any stars if possible. read more

Just came across this place and decided to try it. I got seated immediately and was served one of the best salsas I've ever had with some chips. The salsa had a good amount of spice yet it was still flavorful. I ended up ordering the Aguachiles and it was so delicious. It was a bit spicy but the shrimp was a nice consistency. Their serving sizes were huge. I ordered a "small" portion and I still had trouble finishing it. The waitress was extremely friendly and overall I had a great experience. read more

My friend and I drive by this place every time we head to the park for our walks and decided to finally try it. Its on the corner of Vine and State. There's street parking as well as private parking. The restaurant itself is pretty small and has a few tables. It's also pretty warm with only a large fan running. I ordered one shrimp and one fish taco, my friend ordered a fish taco and a gobernador taco, and we split fish ceviche. Both of our shrimp tacos were really good. Though, I felt like my shrimp had a lot of batter on it. The fish taco tasted a little off for the both of us. We didn't end up finishing it. The same goes for the fish ceviche. It didn't taste bad, but it also wasn't the best we've had. We also felt like there was more veg than fish. Overall, it was an okay experience. Not sure that we'll be returning. read more

The food was ok, nothing special where I want to come back. I felt like everything needed salt, but was very strong on a certain herb "maybe oregano !" Which on top of that got rotten avocado on our $35 torre, smothered in black sauce thinking we will not notice! The michilada was blah!, nothing to order ever again. The waitress took our order and brought our food, but that's it! No, "how's it going, Do you guys need anything?, only when it came to us getting up asking for a box and the bill, she came and stood there waiting for us to pay the bill. We started going to this place when they first opened up and have continued to order togo from them during Covid. They make it really easy to call in and order. They also give you a courtesy call when your order is all packed up for you. Pricing is fair and the seafood is fresh! My favorite items are the agua chiles, empapelado, and the shrimp ceviche. They also let you order large trays for get togethers. This location has sushi with a twist that is also very good! It's a hole in the wall but worth a try! read more
