The service was fine but the pupusas were pretty terrible. Ordered 3 of them and only got down half of one because they were so dry even with salsa. They tasted old and frozen. I wouldn't go back even if they were free. The revuelta tasted like beans only, and there was no cheese at all. Yes, parking is tough on top of that. My coworker and I came here for lunch since we never tried it out. The server was great but I felt bad because he seemed to be the only one working along with the cook. It took awhile to get our food but it was a little packed. Each day of the week they have a special. I ended up just ordering the cheese enchilada and tamale. It was pretty good but I might not get the tamale again. I really liked the rice and beans too so that was a plus. I want to go again and hopefully this time order the special since it's pretty cheap. Maybe next time! read more

We arrived at this location and first asked to use the restroom because we have been traveling. The person behind the counter said that if we bought some thing we could use the restroom. We were going to eat dinner, but after that comment we decided not to. Also, after further inspection of the menu while we were talking, we realized that there was really nothing there for us anyway being that they primarily serve animals. No veg options at all. Today super unsatisfied with their customer service! Went in to attempt to have dinner to be told we could only order to go. When I asked the lady behind the counter that her sign says they close out 9PM and it's 8:00PM exactly, she replied they wanted to close at 8PM?? So I took my business elsewhere. I came here a few times to have They're amazing home style "Pupusas". Also tried the "caldo de camarones" which is always fresh and very tasty. Today I've tried the "chile relleno" it was one of the best I have ever tried... Will be coming back for more. read more

I really wanted to give it a chance since every other review was hailing the pupusas but nope horrible. I got revueltas which are beans, pork and cheese. Nope I just got beans. Wasted 30 bucks and $1.39 to use my debit card. Literally wasted my money. Never again. Read the reviews before hand and don't trust the ones that are 5years old that rave the pupsas. read more

Foods good but they need to get call waiting, i tried calling in an order and it took 30 min to just get through. I always call ahead because they make everything fresh and it takes like 20-30 min to ready.But the pupusas are bomb and my son loves the bean n cheese burritos. This restaurant is in a shady part of town. The decor is outdated and has a menu sign not in use from a previous restaurant that was there... Or they just don't use it for whatever reason. The place could look better if the clutter at the register was organized or remodeled and more lighting is added. Last time I was there a single light bulb lighted the main entrance lobby which made it look scary. Either way the food is good here. The pupusas are bomb diggity! They won't disappoint. read more

Ok, so here's my honest opinion for this place that I tried that I was randomly on the go while working. I had two tacos, one carnitas and one carne asada. The carnitas was really good, but the asada needed much work. I also had rice and beans on the side. The beans were tasty but the rice needed more flavor. I also ordered a Papusa which was also delish! My friend got a burrito with chicken which he said was delish as well. The service was great and was amazed when the lady working there saw that we didn't have an opener for our sodas and let us borrow hers and said to bring it back the next time we visit! Keep in mind I live in Orange County...Very kind of her to do that :) read more

This place has good food , great service and opens early so you can have breakfast as well as everything you need for the day.

I was pleasantly surprised by this place.. The inside is actually bigger than what it looks from the outside. I went there on a tuesday at 12:15pm and there were only two more groups of people there. We sat ourselves and the waitress came very fast.. She was nice and polite. We waited less than 10 minutes for our food. But before that we were given complementary chips and salsa. I had the carne asada torta combo. There was not a wow factor to the food but it was good. The waitress came every once in a while to ask us if we needed anything. The service was great. read more

What a difference time makes. I only come to this restaurant when I'm in town for job-related training and I'd been here about 10 times because it seemed to have authentic tasting food which is hard to find by the hotel where I stay at. But it's been about 3 yrs since the last time I was in town and I was really looking forward to eating dinner here again. The place looks the same and the menu is the same, except for the prices but still not a problem. The problem is that the flavor is gone. I had the carne asada plate and an enchilada on the side. The portions were a good size and the carne taste was ok but the meat was a little too tough for me. And the enchilada sauce was kind of bland. Other than that the food was good. The service was quick and the waitress was attentive for the most part. The exception being she forgot to bring the tortillas that came with the meal. She only brought them after I reminded her. But the beers were cold and the music was playing. It wasn't bad overall but I remember it being better. Maybe they just had an off night. Next time I'm in town for training I'm sure I'll give them another try. read more

The campechana got a big yes, and I had the filet de Pescado & Bistek...excellent, and plenty of food. Service was excellent tambien. I heard this place was good so I really wanted to give it a try. I had been craving pupusas for weeks. I called in an order for a dozen and was told 25 minutes. I showed up at 25 minutes waited while the fool at the register laughs and talks with a customer about nothing. It's finally my turn. I tell him I called in an order and he looks at me and was like oh it'll be about another 25 more minutes. Are you kidding me why does it take 55 minutes for 12 pupusa's? I was in Ontario on business and was headed to a Thai restaurant when I drove past this place. On a whim, I did a sudden u-turn and decided to try it. First, let's talk about the margarita. It was good, but the young waitress simply could not understand "on the rocks." The second time, another waitress overheard my conversation and brought me one on the rocks. Both were good; I just prefer on the rocks. I ordered shrimp grilled in butter. I tried to asked the waitress how shrimp are "grilled in butter," but ran into the same language barrier. Sweet girl, but nearly no ability to speak English and my Spanish is pathetic. We made a perfect pair. The shrimp was excellent. I was there on a Saturday night and there was a guy with a karaoke set-up. All the people there were locals. Some sang. It was certainly more entertaining than anything else happening in Ontario, from what I could gather. Would I go back. Hmm. Perhaps if I lived there and had a taste for shrimp grilled in butter (which I actually have already thought about reproducing at home). If I went back on business, I would try other places. read more
