What a great place. Street tacos for all three of us were good. Reasonable price too. We had Chorizo, Asada and Al Pastor. The Chorizo was the most flavorful, really great as they put a bit of a char on the meat to get that extra flavor. Very tender and moist as well. The Asada was tender, juicy and flavorful, would get again as well. We found the Al Pastor very tender and juicy, would have liked more flavor but the fact they have Creamy Jalapeno sauce at the table fixed it all no problem. I could drink that stuff. Attended a concert and was craving some tacos after. Let me tell ya, what a hidden gem! They were busy the whole time we were there. They are conveniently open until very early in the morning and their food was amazing! The menu was simple and easy to read. They even had empanadas by the register. I typically do not eat red salsa, but this salsa not only was it a good amount of spice it was delicious! I didn't take a picture of our food because I was hungry, but just know that their meats were tender and the food in general had a great homey flavor. My husband and I each ordered Taco special - it's 5 tacos and a drink. Great price for them and let me tell you they were incredibly delicious. Well seasoned and flavorful. The only thing I didn't care for was the green chill sauce I was hoping it had a good hit of spice but the red chile made up for it. Overall the service and food are very good. Customer service with horrible the girl that he had at the cashier with red hair that was only able to speak. Spanish was super "RUDE" and obnoxious. I think it's so crazy on how dangerous that parking lot is with all those homeless people outside the parking spot. This place is really not safe at all. Starting with the people that worked there they are unsanitary. The cook keeps on cleaning his sweat with his T-shirt and touching his cell phone as he's cooking. I don't understand how this place is still up with so many hazards I will never go to this place again is unsanitary and they have the worst people working there on rude. My favorite meat is the asada, but sometimes I go for carnitas or al pastor which I find to be good. Today was my first time dining in and YO the food tasted 10x better and I was able to drown my food in my favorite spicy salsa. It's not green, red or guacamole, but it's creamy and kinda green in color and the most spicy. YUM! My order today was 2 asada tacos and a carnitas sope and for my toddler a quesadilla de asada. She loved it! The meat was perfectly tender and chopped which made it easy for her to enjoy. I normally get her a bean and cheese burrito (they do not serve rice), which is also very good, but glad I switched it up for her because I have leftovers for later! I've been enjoying this hole in wall taqueria for years. Services is excellent! Their tacos de lengua are my favorite. I give the food & service 5 stars! But the exterior of the venue 0 stars. I cringe at the location. There are homeless and panhandlers always hanging around outside. The exterior friggin stinks! My wife refuses to get out of the car and locks the car doors when we stop off. That section of holt is currently being remodeled. I hope this place gets cleaned up, and the city will provide assistant to the homeless. read more
