OMG, my daughter wanted Indian food, but her place was closed, I mentioned this place and we tried it, we cant stop talking about it, absolutely delicious food, we had the chicken tikka masala, curry lamb, plain rice which paired with both dishes, garlic naan, paneer naan. I am writing this review after my second disappointment visit and decided not to visit this place again. First disappointment visit was in the month of june-july when temperature used to be 110-113. It was afternoon time very hot weather. I entered the store, sat down on the table. I ordered food. Got it on the table within few minutes. I realized it was very very hot inside and AC wasn't working at all. They had one cooler on the front counter which was working. I told the employee that it's really hot here and i am sweating. The cooler's face was towards the other table(probably their favorable people). I could tell that from their way of talking with each other. I thought they will adjust the face of the cooler so i will also get some air as well. Employee saw me i was sweating a lot. He went inside the kitchen(had some conversation with other guy). Other guy came outside and moved the face of cooler little bit towards me. Still that was ok for me. I was getting very little air because still most of the cooler face was towards their favorable people's table. Then guy went inside the kitchen (had some conversation) came back within 2-3 minutes and moved the cooler face back towards those favorable people's table. That's where i felt really bad. Then i told the employee please give me a to go box i cannot eat here. I paid, took my food and ate in my car in the parking lot. Then i decided not to visit this place soon. After 3-4 months, I decided to visit this place. So i went with my wife last Sunday for dinner. We live almost 50 miles from this place. So we drove almost an hour. We entered into the restaurant. And loud noise and screaming sounds were coming outside the restaurant. We saw there was one big family was having dinner ( i guess party ). Employee gave us a table. We ordered the food. But these kids boys and girls were jumping screaming running everywhere inside the restaurant. We couldn't even talk with each other. We couldn't listen each other. They were coming next to our table and jumping screaming and making very uncomfortable. Their moms were not telling anything to these kids. After a while we got really frustrated with this. We didn't go here to have this kind of experience after driving one hour. So we were looking at the employees, so at least they will do something. I understand you need customers so you can't say much to them but at leaset when things were getting so annoying, and they understood that they were doing too much. you guys should have told them that other people are not enjoying their food at all. And we didn't enjoy our food at all. So this kept going for about 30 minutes easily. We were almost done and that time those people left and employee (she) was telling us , i can't tell anything to them. But you saw, we were not enjoying the food at all. This is not a playground. You guys should understand to control the situation in the restaurant. So we told her, you need those customers and not us and we will not visit again. read more

Stopped by this place on the way back from Tahoe without a lot of expectation due the mixed reviews. The place was clean so that was a positive. We reached around 7pm and there were not many patrons. There was a strong smell (I suspect fish) and then when I asked if they had the South Indian Medu Vada the answer was no - so I was gearing up to be disappointed. However one of the ladies quickly helped us and made sure we got what we needed like sweet tamarind date chutney for our pain puri. The pani puri plate was unexpectedly good - my son who does not like spicy food ate the whole plate with the sweet chutney and we ended up ordering one more. She also was very helpful and customized the Indo Chinese noodles with vegetables and eggs and made it less spicy and our kids thoroughly enjoyed it. I loved the Rava Dosa, it was slightly greasy but the flavor with ginger and green chilies reminded me of home, the flavor was so on point. It came with a good sambar and few chutneys - I mostly liked the yellow ginger flavor chutney. The white and the red chutney was so so. My husband liked his Chicken Biriyani. This was a lot of food for us, so ended up packing it back home. The place got busy as we started eating around 7.30 pm - and I could feel the staff that was serving were getting busy (only two of them) - we had to flag them down for extra napkins or clearing out some of the dishes but they were very polite and helpful. Overall loved the place - unexpectedly good food, helpful ladies (especially thankful for the person who made sure to help us) and a clean place including the restrooms. read more

Met a friend here for lunch today. It was my first time in and I knew it was going to be delicious as soon as the aromas hit me as I was coming in the door. The place is simply and tastefully decorated, and very clean and neat. The server invited me to pick a table as I told her that I would be waiting for a friend. She immediately brought water to my table, and a few minutes into my wait came to see if perhaps I would like, another drink. I finished a tasty and refreshing mango lasse just as my friend arrived. Came across this place as we had to stop and charge our car. We ordered for take out and got the butter chicken and roti. We were sooooo impressed with the flavors of the butter chicken and how silky the sauce was. Seasoned really well and the roti to dip in it was the perfect combo. My husband went back in to tell them how good our food was. Everyone in there was helpful and nice and recommended we write a review!
