I was super excited to try a new place and Burmese! I love Burmese food- tea leaf salad and the soup that looks delish. I ordered the soup, fried rice, tea leaf salad and spring rolls. Unfortunately, my soup was very basic vegetarian soup, The fried rice took too long to come. The spring rolls was a little undercooked. The tea leaf salad is one that I did not bother to finish. I am so disappointed- because I LOVE tea salads.

Thanks to my Rocklin bestie Cam for another great rec! This casual Burmese spot recently changed its format so that most items are in plate combinations rather than full size dishes that are generally shared family style. I saw a fiery beef tofu dish on the menu in an old Yelp post, and even though it was no longer offered, the staff asked the chef to make it for me. And it was damn good! I hope they consider adding it to the menu again. The tea leaf salad here is a must order as a starter, and then we polished off all of our dishes. Wonderful service and execution of a harder-to-find cuisine that's worth seeking out!

Okay... I did it again...Back at KT Shan Noodle in Rocklin...but THIS time I dined in for the full experience! First things first: you order at the register, grab a seat, and let the food adventure begin. Since I'm still a newbie to Burmese cuisine, I asked for a recommendation... and when she said her favorite dish, I didn't even hesitate...say less, I'm in! Of course, I had to reunite with my love...the tea leaf salad. The textures? INSANE. Crunchy, savory, garlicky... basically a party in my mouth that I was very happy to attend again. Then came the Shan dry noodle...and let me tell you, this dish is the definition of "don't judge a book by its cover." It looks simple, but WOW the flavors show up strong. Rice noodles tossed with bok choy, tender chicken, quail eggs, and crispy garlic chips... every bite hits. And just when your taste buds are like "okay that was a lot," they bless you with a light, comforting side soup to balance it all out. Genius. Oh...and I couldn't leave without trying the Burmese iced milk tea. Not overly sweet, super smooth, and honestly so refreshing. Perfect way to cool everything down. Final verdict: 10/10 would absolutely come back (clearly ). Delicious food, warm and friendly service, and just an all around feel good dining experience. If you haven't tried it yet... what are you waiting for?!

My family and I are from Burma / Myanmar and we loved everything except the shan mee shay which was ok. Prices reasonable. We didn't do rainbow salad- did shan tofu nwe noodles instead. Samosas are a bit bland on their own but good with the sauce. This will be my go to Burmese food place in sac area :)

My wife is Burmese and said this place was authentic and legit. It probably didn't hurt that she called and ordered in Burmese lol. Had the garlic noodles which were slightly spicy with pork. It was good. Also got the fried tofu which was nice and crispy. My wife thought the samosa was okay but better with the sauce they provided. We've liked this place the best so far for Burmese food. Can't rate ambience as we DoorDashed, but will try soon.

The best Burmese food I've ever eaten. Period. First time at this establishment and they didn't disappoint. Every dish we tried was so delicious and flavorful. We're gonna have to go back to try the other dishes. A+

Loved the food and service here. Very hearty and flavorful Burmese meals. Loved the chicken curry here. I would definitely go back for this and more. The owner was really sweet to offer some ice cream for dessert:)

New Burmese restaurant, the food is decent, the coconut chicken curry needs to be less watery. The fried veggie platter needs to represent what the picture is advertised on the menu. The two noodles are flavorful, it's a bit heavy, you will be full quick.

they just opened this week! :) grand opening will be on March 4th. The people who run the restaurant are incredibly kind and welcoming. it's so great to finally have a Burmese place in the Rocklin/roseville area. the Burmese bento box came with a perfectly fried samosa and the pork was falling apart from how tender it was. perfectly marinated as well. The Shan noodle was a light broth and very refreshing - I highly suggest adding the pickles they provide for a maximum savory punch. Tea leaf salad has a variety of textures to complement a tangy and flavorful punch - almost reminiscent of pesto. the Burmese milk tea is not too sweet but has a distinct flavor that is reminiscent of camellia leaves but has its own effect - a must try! there is a huge variety of food from curries to noodles to noodle soup. we went before grand opening, but the environment is soothing and is very spacious and tables look like they can accommodate large parties. the chef spoke with us and everyone on the staff is incredibly kind and helpful. very attentive and eager to help you pick out a dish is if this is your first time having Burmese food. I believe this place will be an absolutely necessary cornerstone of rocklin/roseville cuisine :)

Food was EXCELLENT - a delicious balance of spice and flavor - and very filling! We ordered a good variety and everything was equally delicious - fried vegetables (appetizer), chicken curry bento box, soup Mont Hym Khar, and garlic noodles w chicken. We also had the Thai tea, and it was a nice addition. Highly recommend trying this place - it is new to the area, very clean, and the service is friendly.

    Garlic Noodle with Chicken

The garlic noodles with chicken are incredible. I'm not exaggerating. I ordered them based on the server's recommendation, and I'm glad I did. The noodles have that perfect balance of savory garlic flavor without being overpowering. The chicken is cooked just right, and the whole dish has this rich, slightly sweet sauce that ties everything together. The portion size is generous. You're getting your money's worth here. What I loved: Fresh ingredients, not sitting around Actually tastes like garlic (not just garlic powder) Good texture on the noodles Fast service even though they were busy Good to know: This place is right off Lone Tree and Blue Oaks in Rocklin. Easy to get to, easy parking, and the inside is clean and welcoming. The staff is friendly and knows their menu. If you're in the area and want amazing food, this is your spot. I'll definitely be back to try other dishes. What I ordered: Garlic Noodles with Chicken

It's great to have a Burmese restaurant open in Rocklin--finally more options to try! The restaurant is clean and has a cozy, family-style vibe. The chef even comes out to take orders while also cooking--so fun to see in action! The food is delicious, and the service is very friendly and welcoming. I especially loved the falooda dessert--it's absolutely amazing! Highly recommend checking this place out.

My Burma downtown is doing the most in the best way--great location, solid vibes, and service that actually feels like they want you there (rare, honestly). Everything is super veg-friendly with plenty of swaps and mods, which I always appreciate because some places act like removing meat is a personal insult. Fun fact: Burmese cuisine is one of the only Southeast Asian cuisines where fermented tea leaves (yes, edible tea salad energy) are a legit staple. Our waiter was extremely kind and accommodating to our many questions and inquiries. He checked up on us several times during our dinner and made sure we were happy with everything. Now onto the food!!!! We ordered the Burmese pad Thai with chicken, the coconut rice, and basil and dried chili beef, all medium spicy. The noodles in the pad Thai were cooked perfectly with a tangy sauce and the added peanuts gave a nice textural crunch. The sweetness of the coconut rice paired PERFECTLY with the spicy beef. The beef itself was so delicious, unlike anything I've ever had before! Made with chillies, basil, and tamarind powder, it was packed with flavor and spice while being extremely juicy. This time around we decided a 6 page booklet with desserts, entrees, appetizers, etc. went for lunch and had a couple items on their seperate chef's specialties and lunch menu. Complex flavors that were more sophisticated from what you would find at a Chinese restaurant. I love salt & pepper fish and this one was well seasoned. Sautéed eggplant- I don't typically like eggplant cooked this way but I was pleasantly surprised by the flavor. Chicken kebat- really good and went well with our crab fried rice. We had it made mild which went down well with all 4 of us. Crab fried rice- I wasn't a fan of the Tobiko because I felt like it took way from the fried rice. We decided to sit outside, close to edge of patio, beware their pits are behind the fences and ashes fly over fence. I had to cover my drink. Honey Walnut Shrimp- 7/10 huge shrimp, I rate 7 because I am not a fan of seafood so probably much higher rating who eats seafood like that. A perfect sweetness and crunch from the walnuts. The server was great to offer to bring me hot sauce on the side since my friend was not a fan of spicy and if you ask for the hot sauce it is hot, say take in moderation to fit your spice level. I would definitely be back to try different things on the menu since it all looked so yummy.

The place serves authentic Thai dishes and it is best to share family style if you come with several people so that you can experience more dishes. Started with a Sake "Mohito". It was very good. Mild flavor and not crazy strong. I nursed it throughout my entire meal. The Fresh Spring Rolls were as the name advertised. Vegetarian with tofu inside. Interesting thing is that it was served with two sauces, but the traditional peanut sauce but also a Thai Sweet Chili sauce. I decided to combine both sauces onto my Spring Rolls. Surprisingly, the two sauces complemented each other pretty well. The Yellow Curry was smooth and thick (not watery like some places). Rich is flavor. I can probably just eat some plain rice with just the curry sauce and I would be happy. It's that good. The Crispy Chicken with Ginger Rice was a crowd favorite as well. The chicken itself was solid but pretty standard. The ginger rice added a unique flavor to the dish. I've never had ginger rice at a restaurant before. We also had a stir fry dish that was composed of asparagus and a protein of your choice. We chose chicken. It was also solid but not as unique as the other two entrees we had. The fried chicken was very crispy but again there was no seasoning it just tasted like oil. After eating we waited about 20 minutes for our check. The other wait staff would go to their table and directly leave. No one checked on us after we asked for sauces for the food. I had to get up and go inside to ask for to go containers and had to wait even longer for the check although I asked for both at the same time. I also had to ask repeatedly for the Togo order and was left waiting on that then waited even longer with the waitress never coming back for the check. I had to end up walking inside and paying with a random person at the counter. This totaled over a 40 minute wait with my family eventually leaving with the kids and me waiting to box our food and pay because it was taking so long which is unacceptable. Unfortunately with the overall flavor issues and the lack of customer service I won't be back.
