Later they told that Vijaywada Biryani has no nuts and gave us that Biryani. Both dishes are not real Biryani's, they look like chicken curry over rice. Special chicken biryani is mild creamy chicken over rice. Vijay wada is very spicy version. Taste was ok but my brain can't associate it with Biryani. I also tried Thagubothu chicken starter - it is like fried spicy dry chicken. This was very spicy and very very sour . I did not liked the sourness it was too much, I have never tasted such a dish, not sure how much Lemon or vinegar they added to it. From name Biryaniz I would expect better !!!

Now I understand there is an egg shortage - Business should inform patrons that egg is not included or ask if they are okay to be charged little extra for that egg. Chicken biriyani without egg doesnt quite go well. I am happy to pay extra. Chole bhatura - Only one medium sized bhatura was provided. Either places have one big bhatura or two medium sized bhatura. This was only one. Chole did taste good. Gobi manchurian - Had massive unmarinated, unseasoned pieces of cauliflower that were quickly batter fried. The outer covering and the tossed sauce definitely had good flavor but as soon as we bit into the cauliflower there was no flavor. It looked like this was made in hurry with massive pieces rather than cutting medium sized pieces that are well marinated and then batter fried. This location does not serve chai or coffee. Now that is mind boggling to me why an Indian restaurant would not have Chai or Coffee. Its definitely there on the menu but, I was told its not served at this location. I encourage this business to have dine-in cutlery and plates for indoor dining. I understand thats how biriyaniz all locations operate - all food served in to-go boxes and disposable plates. But, please provide reusable plates for indoor dining. We will definitely continue visiting other biriyaniz locations but remember to skip this one for sure.

I liked their menu as it was easy to follow. A few apps, a wrap that you can customize and several rice bowls which are curry based. Fried Tandoori Wings ($6/4*) You get 4 nice sized wings for this price. Generous price as other trucks would want at least $10 for an app of this sized. The wings are marinated but not strongly then it is fried til pretty crisp. No coating and no texture from dry spices but because of the wet marinade the wings get pretty dark in the fry. I actually liked their simple fried chicken; it had a unique flavor, and it wasn't crazy dry. I would definitely get these again. Chicken Tikka Wrap ($13/4*) This is straight up an Indian burrito. Exact same size and look of a Mexican burrito. Large warm flour tortilla filled generously with basmati rice, a light handful of lettuce and a good scoop of chicken tikka masala which I think most people know because it is a popular Indian dish that most non-Indian know/like. A gateway dish if you will. Now all flavors and textures were decent. The chicken was quite tender bathing in that creamy and spicy tomato sauce that totally absorbs into the rice. Lettuce gets soft and wilted from the heat of the other ingredients. Wished there were another element in there to give it more diversity in texture maybe some of their chickpea masala (which you can actually choose as a protein choice). Maybe next time I'll ask for half n half. I also thought that this was going to be wrapped in some Indian flatbread which I think would have made it more special versus just a standard flour tortilla. But for $13 this was still a very filling and flavorful meal. I actually got 2 meals from this hefty burrito. If I run into this truck again I'm going to try the samosas and the goat curry rice bowl. One time, I even requested to replace the soda with an extra gulab jamun in the comments section while ordering, and they actually acknowledged it, which I appreciated. But last week, I ordered the same family pack biryani again, and the experience was completely different. The biryani had noticeably fewer meat pieces, the chicken 65 quantity was smaller, and there was no gulab jamun either. I was really disappointed this time. To be fair, they never officially mentioned anywhere that the family pack includes these extra items. This expectation was based on my previous experiences ordering from them. Still, the inconsistency was disappointing.
