Stopped by Star Chaat Cuisine for a quick, spontaneous dinner before catching a movie nearby. I was curious about the menu options and it seemed pretty popular from the amount of people at the restaurant, so we opted to dine in. We sat down and while browsing the menu briefly, we realized the options were are vegetarian and there were no meat options. My partner was slightly disappointed, but he ordered one of the thali options, and I ended up getting the chole bhature. The thali was a bit underwhelming, the daal was alright, but other curry dishes were not super appetizing and there was one sauce that seemed a bit sour and watery. However, I couldn't identify the distinct flavors, so it wasn't something that left an impression. I did enjoy the kheer (rice pudding), as my partner is not a fan of dessert. The chole bhature was our favorite, as the fresh, puffy bread and the chickpea curry was spicy and flavorful and we enjoyed it quite a bit. I had initially planned to order something else, and ended up changing my mind last minute. I'm glad we tried the chole bhature, totally worth it! The bhel puri (puffed rice) dish that came with the thali was pretty good too, as it had a nice mix of toppings & savory flavors. Customer service was excellent and attentive, I had mentioned that we had a reservation and were short on time, so they were quick with bringing out our order. They did initially forget the tea that was part of the thali, but I alerted a staff member and they brought it out promptly. Same thing for requesting the check or asking for take out boxes, it was efficient and the restaurant staff were helpful and friendly. It's also great the restaurant offers monthly specials, and the interior was pretty standard but had a good amount of seating. I'd likely return to try other chaat items on the menu. Possibly worth visiting if you're in the area and looking for a flavorful, vegetarian meal.

This is the best chaat place in Dublin area. There are so many varieties of dishes, all vegetarian, I wish I could try them all! We started with bhel which was delicious. Chole bhature was served with 2 large bhaturas you can barely eat one! We also tried poori bhaji. I appreciated the side of green chili, onion and pickle. Service is very good despite how busy they are.

Crispy chaat was very well prepared. Good quantity too, unlike in some places where they provide minuscule amount.

Homely and tasty food. Always consistent. Staff are very professional. They accommodate your special requests. Food always comes on time. Their monthly specials make you come back for more

Always solid. I am overdue on a review here. Great food and fast whether eat in or take out. I almost always get a thali and a chaat (which is a lot of food!), but their menu is large including rotating specials. Last visit they had a special thali and I was just blown away. Ate there and the tables are nicely set and music it's always playing some cool Indian beats. Their consistency is top notch. Both food and service are always on point.

Star chaat was so good!! Their pani puri was delicious, I love that it came with the stuffing on the side to make your own ratio. Food came out quickly and very fresh! I also tried the aloo gobi (not picture) but also was so warm and flavorful.

Loved the experience at Star Chaat. The food was fresh, flavorful, and tasted like authentic Indian street food. Friendly staff, clean atmosphere, and great service. Definitely a go-to spot in Dublin for delicious chaat and snacks!

Our go-to place for a quick snack after or before we go to the movies at Regal. Delicious Indian Street food and snacks. Our fav is their corn baskets, chaats and parathas. Kind and courteous staff and quick service always!

Solid Indian food in Dublin conveniently situated in the mall. Food itself is mainly classic staples. Go for the food, but service was a little slower and more of a convenient spot than a formal sit down one. Family owned and very popular

I was looking for a high-value ethnic restaurant near my hotel and found this gem via Grok on my Tesla. I was initially worried it might be inside the mall, but I was pleasantly surprised to find it located right next to the Regal Theater. The interior is lovely, featuring cozy, low lighting, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful with recommendations. I ordered my usual--Vegetable Korma and Samosas--and asked for them spicy. The food was incredible; the Korma had perfect heat and flavor, and the Butter Naan was amazing. The Samosas were a highlight--lighter and far less greasy than usual, with a perfectly spiced potato filling. My wife ordered a cottage cheese (Paneer) dish with peppers and onions recommended by our waiter. She absolutely loved it and finished the whole plate, which she rarely does. This was hands down some of the best food I've ever had. I will definitely return when I have the chance."

Star Chat is tucked away. You almost have to be looking for it to notice it. You should. The food is delicious. Everything is vegetarian and really fresh. My friend and I tried the Afghani Paneer w/ Cheese Naan (creamy cashew-marinated paneer with buttery, cheesy naan). the Crispy Chaat Basket (flour-made crispy baskets filled with a combination of moong sprouts, fresh-cut mix vegetables and boiled potatoes with yogurt and tangy chutneys). and the Gujrati Ragada Patties (potato cutlets; loaded with green peas curry; laced with sweet and spicy chutney and garnished with onions and cilantro). Apart from wishing we had ordered a side of rice, it was perfect. We had crispy, spicy, flavorful, and filling. Service was good and the background music was fun. Not sure exactly what was playing, but it reminded me of Saturdays watching Bollywood movies. Recommended.

As you might have guessed based on the font choice of the front sign, this is definitely run by members of the Supreme Master Ching Hai group, and if you know other restaurants run by this group, you will know what to expect here as well. The food is accordingly Asian fusion with a healthy dose of Vietnamese, and features a lot of fresh and tasty vegetables and the obligatory slightly odd naming scheme, heh. My husband and I happen to really enjoy the food at these types of places, and Blossom Vegan was happily no exception. I got the vegetable chow fun dish, which was loaded with nice veggies, and my husband got the tofu banh mi (which I think was called a Saigon sandwich or something like that). Both were great! The decor is actually a little less strongly influenced by the Supreme Master Ching Hai branded items than some other such places, and I think the wall mural is cute. The location is clean and comfortable, and the staff is friendly and reasonably attentive, but it seems you do go up front to pay rather than paying at the table. I don't anticipate being in this area again soon, but I am happy to know a location like this is out here for any future excursions into the area! We'll definitely be back again if that happens!
