Cashier didn't know if I could use a coupon we got from the back of grocery store receipt, after consultation and a phone call, it was determined we could use it. Then didn't apply the $5 off. SMH Tables are dirty, servers seemed like they couldn't handle the limited traffic they had before the store closes for afternoon break. Constantly running back and forth. Ordered the veg lunch box and the non veg lunch box on a Sunday, even though the menu states it is only available Mon to Friday. The lunch boxes offer rice, two curries, naan, raita and gulab jamun. You pick two curries out of four options. The four options for veg were Paneer Tikka, Panner butter masala, Dal and Dal Makhani. The non veg options were Chicken curry, Goat curry, Chicken Tikka and Chicken butter masala. For the naan you pick between Butter Naan, Garlic Naan and Plain Naan. Counter service. The value for the meal is unbeatable. The food is also consistently good, usually. Unfortunately the last few times the curries have been very salty which is a complete bummer (docking a star for the salt). Tasted good until I found a fly COOKED into my biryani. Disgusting. The inside of the restaurant had flies flying around too. I knew it wasn't the cleanest of restaurants but didn't expect to find a fly cooked into my biryani. I almost ate it because it looked like a clover. Really really disgusting. read more

I have tasted their cuisine multiple times and there are hits and misses on the Indian cuisine but they do keep up well on that well, however every flavor profile, taste and execution falls apart when it comes to Indo-Chinese! Dishes ordered via DoorDash: Starter: Prawn Fry, highly over cooked shrimps coated in curry leaves spices Masala. The taste can be good if the dish can be properly done! Main dish: Egg Fried Rice, OK Chicken Chowmein: Nothing defines Indo-Chinese, no taste and over salty Chili Chicken: Soaking in oil, over salty, very OK! I've personally never bought food here yet, but my roommate has ordered a few times here via door dash. Upon word of mouth she heard from a friend that this place was good and so far this place hasn't disappointed her mainly or me yet. They do and can take late orders so when my roommate has a evening or late night craving she does look them up. The ordering and fulfillment seems to be quick and spot on, they haven't contacted her yet for any problems regarding the food. The proportions seems to be pretty decent to above average in terms of having it take out. The food itself is definitely one of the most flavorful places I've eaten of late in terms of Indian food. The textures seem just right and the spices seem to be spot on and even a tad spicy which is always nice. Definitely will be going in and eating here and maybe do a take out order in person too, so if anything goes wrong..I might update this review but so far so good for this place!! read more

Love their family packs and have tried their chicken dum biryani, gongura goat dum biryani and vijayavada dum biryani and my fav so far is the gongura goat biryani. Love that they have sumptuous meat potions in the biryani. Also their pastries are so delicious and unique. Tried their Rasmalai-Gulab jamun Pastry and it was delicious. I have wanted to try this place for a while, always smelled so good while shopping in that center. I did not enjoy the entree of bones, yuck and the second one was too hot to eat. They give you plenty of rice, you can tell this by seeing it on the chairs and floors. My order was to eat in, the other patron got a plate, I was just given the container. The service wasn't that great. There were a few employees so they weren't experiencing a rush. The employee that helped me at the counter offered no suggestions , and seemed bothered and irritated that he had a customer. I don't care about the no suggestion part but him being irritated was irritating. He wasn't doing anything and really should have been cleaning the dining room. They have desserts, slices of cakes and whole cakes. I did not try any so no opinion on those. There is a similar place across the street, try there first. read more

Like others say, from order to delivery is too long, at least 35 minutes to produce a simple order with minimal people ahead of us. All 3 of us agreed the food was OK, not bad but nothing special. Ordered lunch at this new restaurant in San Ramon. Ordered hydrebadi chicken Dum biriyani family pack and chicken lollipop. The food quantity for the price was good. This pack can feed a family of 4. The pack comes with an appetizer and dessert. Appetizer options are chili chicken or chicken 65. Chicken 65 is Andhra style not Chennai style. I went with chicken 65. On dessert you have option of carrot halwa or gulab jamun (2 pieces) The biriyani had 4 good pieces of chicken and the rice is good quality basmati. The rice was whole grain and right cooked. The flavor of biriyani is very similar to other restaurants here like peacock and hydrebadi house. Next time will try chili chicken rather than chicken 65. Not impressed with the appetizer. The jamun was good and soft. Chicken lollipop for $10 had 5 pieces and was tasty but bit too much oily. Maybe a touch less batter will fix it. New kitchen and staff so right now it takes a bit of time to make orders. Sure that will improve over time. They also have pastries indian style available. They carry Indian style whole cakes and also pieces. They have eggless cakes for vegetarians. Also ordered some pastries. Black Forest cake, tiramisu cake, and strawberry. My kids had the black forest cake and said it was bit dry. Recommend making the pieces smaller and rectangle. The piece is too huge for one person. Shady business practices Stoped here to get some pastries. Ordered a few cake slices . I was in a hurry and did not check the balance before i tapped the card. Thankfully the bank sent a notification just as I received the cakes. The amount was $100 over. When I asked them about it , the fumbled and said the bigger cakes cost more. I then pointed out that they just packed the slices I ordered and not the full ones. There was not a word of apology and they just recharged the correct amount after another slow few mins . Just by the way things went , it don't look like a honest mistake . They would have seen the bill before the payment . Over the last month or so, I have been noticing that the quantity of actual fish pieces has been decreasing steadily in each order of fish biriyani that I have placed with them?! C'mon guys, do you not think that the customer will notice this slight cheating on your part? Shame on you guys! Stop skimping on the quantity of fish pieces in your fish biriyani! If you continue this "surreptitious" cheating, I will stop buying any food from you. period. I will give you one more chance to redeem yourselves ok? I will come by next week and purchase 1 more order of fish biriyani. Went here and ordered 15 Samosa's on Christmas Eve. The price board showed 2 for $3.99 which means 15 should have been $30. The guy at the register charges me about $40 including tax, when I call him out on it he says $3.99 was the old prices and the new price is is $4.99. He rudely says "that's it".....
