This is just a review for the takeout - but the interior is very cute and has sort of an upper and lower level. We got our usual chicken Tikka masala which was not your typical takeout - there were some actual veggies in there (red pepper and onions) and it had a really lovely smoky flavor to it. We also had the milagai podi idli as an appetizer which are basically little rice balls in a tomatoey spice mix and they were very tasty! We finally had the chicken chettinad which is another curry that was less cream-based than the other and we also ordered it a bit spicier as well. Looking forward to going back to this place for more! They have a really extensive menu that looks great, also they are halal certified!

Stopped in on a road trip on out way to Taliesin and had a wonderful lunch. Somosas, Fried chicken briyani and malai kofta were all delicious. It's a small, comfotable quiet spot with table service.

Thalaivas Indian N Chinese Kitchen just opened its doors last week. We saw the signs and just randomly stopped by. We tried the onion pakora, and wow, it's amazing! It's even better with that tasty green sauce. We all agree that they have one of the best chicken biryanis in town! You absolutely have to try the Malai Kofta, vegetable dumplings in creamy spiced gravy is just perfection. I didn't know what else to order and asked for advice, the server recommended the Mango Chicken Curry! It's this awesome blend of sweet and savory, with a mango-infused sauce and chicken that's so tender it practically melts in your mouth. Oh, and I can't forget to mention the Ghee Masala Dosa! It's crispy, buttery, and stuffed with a delicious potato filling. The staff were so attentive and caring, and the place is super cute. I've only been there once, and it's already my favorite Indian restaurant in the area! Go check out Thalaivas Indian N Chinese Kitchen!

We had the chili paneer! It exceeded my expectations. An amazing dish bursting with flavor. Medium spicy. One of my favorite dishes. Just like being in Bombay.

I ordered a dinner take out. Food was ready in 30 minutes. Goat fry biryani was my favorite item here. Chicken kothu porotta is a rare item here. It was a good try. Garlic naan and butter chicken were my other items. Both was really good.

newww indian restaurant in middleton‼tried chicken malai kabab, shrimp pepper fry, and mutton sukka. ate all with parotta (not pictured) which was delightfully crispy! yum flavors and good portions but SUPER spicy so make sure to order accordingly!! Decor inside is great and very spacious area with a lot of seating! Service was kind and friendly with food arriving very quickly.

I had a lovely solo dinner at Thalaivas in Middleton. I don't get to the west side often and heard good things about their eggplant curry in a reddit thread. It's a new place and not too busy, even on a Friday night. The food was absolutely divine. I adore eggplant and it was served in such an interesting format - quartered with stems attached and then stewed in a rich curry. The garlic naan had a comical amount of diced garlic on it, maybe a whole head. It was perfect. Run, don't walk over here!

As an Indian, I don't usually go out for Indian food (my mom's cooking is better), but I decided to give this place a try because I was craving South Indian food (that my mom can't make). I can't speak to their North Indian cuisine, but I absolutely loved the plain dosa, chutneys, and sambar! I also had the Madras coffee, which was delicious as well. Amazing food, service, and atmosphere. I'd happily come to this place again for brunch/lunch.

While they were busy, the service was so friendly and smiley- it made for such a fun time. Although they were busy, through a quick smile and usher to a table, somehow my sister and I were convinced to sit at a table with two other customers. While it was odd sitting at a table enough for six people with two strangers, we felt comfortable enough to have our own separate conversations because of the hustle and bustle around us. We ordered a plate of the housemade cat ear noodle four color vegetable. The vegetables could've been cooked through a bit more but their sauce was perfect for the dish and the noodle texture complimented the rest of the dish. We did think there might've been a higher ratio of noodle to vegetable which made for a heavier meal, so balancing those two could've been nicer. You'll definitely receive a large portion of food here- no fear haha Parking is available around the side but during peak hours definitely packed. They have free wifi!

We had few if any expectations but wow for a take out joint, it's exactly what you'd expect and hope for. No it's not authentic in a Chinese culinary way... but it's completely authentic in an American Chinese take out experience. The Sesame noodles were awesome - lip smacking, tasty, and burning... clinched Ling Pow Chicken was decent. The pan fired dumplings completely serviceable. The last two orders were not hot and fresh, they don't bother the read any instructions any more and the quality of the food is just so bad now. The sweet and sour chicken tasted fishy. The chicken lowmein is just dry noodles with some onions and bad tasting slimy chicken pieces. The pork egg rolls were soft and mushy and the hot and sour soup mimics preset jello. My daughter laughed as it jiggled. I would not recommend ordering from here until they relearn how to do Chinese food. If I were the owner, I would be embarrassed for this to represent me. Before it went in the dumps- The place is clean, the service is great and the food is always made to order. SO, it's always hot, fresh, and delicious. It's our go-to for great Chinese food. Would definitely recommend!

The egg rolls, sesame chicken, ribs, and the Chow Ho Fun were some of the best I've ever had. The only dish that didn't quite impress was the Pad Thai. It seems like the key is to stick with the Chinese dishes there rather than the Thai or Vietnamese options. Regardless, the food was incredible, and I think I hesitated to try it due to all the negative reviews. Now I know where I'll be going for my next Chinese takeout!

The Szechuan beef (thin slices of very tender beef, onions, green peppers and matchstick carrots) was missing the spiciness we were used to in this dish.
