Three of us came for brunch today and were once again delighted with all of our choices. I stayed with the traditional breakfast with eggs, grits, bacon and English muffins. All came out hot and cooked perfectly. Grandson had a hard time deciding but went with something new, a combo of eggs, chicken strips and French toast with strawberries. I only got one bite and it was delicious. He loved it. Daughter tried the croissant with egg, cheese and ham and fruit. She could only eat half of it but loved it and would get it again. Service was great as always and the wait was very short. Super clean and tables are cleared and clean quickly after customers leave. Cute decor still and comfortable chairs. The woman at the host stand was very friendly when I walked in. She directed me to put my to-go order in next her at the register. The hound lady at the register had a wonderful welcoming smile. She also was very knowledgeable about the menu when I had a couple questions. I waited outside till my order was ready. When I te-entered, another woman brought me my bag immediately and thanked me for coming in. WONDERFUL front of house staff. When I got home, my food was correctly and tasted absolutely amazing. It was fluffy, beautiful, and flavorful. I've never had these flavors in an omelette before. It had spinach, fresh olives, feta cheese, Hollandaise sauce. We came to this location after run club. The good thing about Brigs is that you can get a decent amount of food for relatively cheap and the food is tasty. It is difficult to get sat when you have a large group. We came at 8:30am with 8 people and had to wait a little bit. Not too long but it probably would've been longer had come later, so just something to keep in mind. I got the Knight scramble and made it southern royalty (grits instead of home fries) and I recommend not doing that. They do not season their grits so it was a little bland. Their home fries are flavorful so it would have been better had I kept it as is. Outside of the bland grits, the scramble was very good. And they have some of the best English muffins. I around 10:15am on a Friday morning for a breakfast date. Our waitress didn't introduce herself which is a personal pet peeve. My date ordered chicken and waffles with a side of grits. I got blueberry pancakes with a side of bacon and home fries. I ordered a strawberry lemonade for my beverage and it was not sweet enough, personally. The food came 10 mins after ordering, which was extremely quick. I enjoyed my pancakes as they were HUGE!! It came with two but one would have been sufficient. My bacon was greasy, not crispy, and on the cooler side. The home fries were lukewarm. My date enjoyed their chicken and waffles but the grits were flavorless and not enjoyable. I tasted them and I concur. The prices are affordable with hit and miss on the food. The tables are fairly close together so you can hear the conversation of other guest, just as they can hear yours. Following up on my review below on in-restaurant dining. Yesterday, got take-out. Yesterday, I called and ordered 5 breakfasts from Brig's for carry-out. Four omelettes and one breakfast croissant. I called to order at 10:00 am and asked that the meals be ready at 10:30 am. (I had called earlier in the morning but they suggested that I call to order 20 minutes before desired pick-up time.) The packages were ready when I arrived at 10:30. Everything was well packed, and each of the entrees had the correct sides in the correct boxes. Everything was delicious and all guests were impressed. They included a variety of jams and some butter in the packages, in addition to utensils and napkins. I asked for and they applied a Senior discount to the meals. I'm very pleased. read more

This restaurant has a very nice atmosphere and friendly staff. I stopped i by myself for breakfast as it was highly recommended here by a few elites I know. I really wanted to try the crab Benedict but that's just too much food for me. So I went with a breakfast croissant and home fries. I had coffee for a drink. The waitress gave me time to look over the menu as it's quite large and I'd never been. My coffee arrived hot but I really didn't love it. It was quite weak to me. The breakfast plate came out looking good but unfortunately I didn't love that either. The home fries weren't warm, but I dis eat them all. They were good despite the fact they weren't piping hot. The egg sandwich came out a little discombobulated, bacon was all on one side and the egg here seemed not very hot either. I would go back, it was very affordable. They may have something else on the menu I liked. They do have senior menu, but they still give you two eggs.... I like smaller meals than this so I do with this place and more other places would give smaller offerings of food. I cannot eat that much in one sitting. I've been to Briggs before located in Raleigh, so when my friend came to visit NC, we were in Cary so I suggested Brigs. Whenever you go, know there will be a wait because they are that good! We waited maybe 35-44 minutes but it's so worth it. I decided to try something different this time and it didn't disappoint. I had the seafood scramble which consists of scrambled eggs with salmon, shrimp and hollandaise sauce with potatoes. My friend had the country scramble, and added mushrooms she also enjoyed it. I appreciate a restaurant that also has flavored creamer. That's always a plus! Chesapeake Benedict - my entree and recommendation for future diners. It was amazing. I will start to say that the potatoes were a little Al dente to my liking, but the star was well worth the overlook. The crab cake was sweet, succulent, and seasoned well. The hollandaise... creamy and had a nice little kick that brightened up an otherwise heavy sauce. I will dream of this dish for a while. I placed my order with the waitress and after she had put my order in I asked if she could add pecans to my French toast with Peaches . Breakfast was pretty good at Brigs. I absolutely loved the Augusta Benedict; I just substituted avocado for the bacon. The pimento cheese, hollandaise, avocado, egg, and English muffin were so delicious. I highly recommend. I didn't care for the potatoes though.
