Latte, sugar-feee option. Yum! (Background mug is seasonal pumpkin spice latte.)
    Sarah W.

Party of 3 adults and 1 child for a Saturday brunch after a 5K Urban Bourbon walk. We were famished. I started with a sugar-free latte and my pals each had a seasonal pumpkin spice latte and hot chocolate -- all parties were happy. Two split a cinnamon roll (gargantuan size!) and were very, very happy. I ordered a V-8 juice drink along with a brunch scramble of eggs, spinach, chicken sausage, mushrooms, and goat cheese, along with a side of skillet potatoes and peppers and onions. All items were cooked well and very flavorful. Everyone left here satisfied and complementary of the choice.

Always consistently good! I love their monthly themes. Surprisingly good smash burgers!

Decent size hot brown, plenty of sauce, bacon a bit tough tomatoes delicious

So my wife and I tried the hot browns and I want to complement the amount of sauce was good. I get a lot of low sauce ones and it's a pretty good size pan of food. The biscuit would've been a little drying off but the amount of sauce on top of it, balanced that out I understand their choice of pulled chicken over turkey because I don't think there's much else on the menu. They use the turkey for the bacon and I didn't like too much. It was a little too tough big chunks. Didn't really melt in your mouth the tomato jam was delicious. I gave most of it to my wife cause I don't usually I like tomatoes too much, but this was tan and sweet and had a good flavor. My son could not handle the cornmeal pancake didn't like texture not my favorite thing either, but I'll end up eating that one later.. the main thing is that right now they do have vouchers on Kentucky and a deals where you can get $50 with the food for 25 cause I would normally never eat her at full price so as long as that deals going on I'd say it's not about that bad idea to try something and they have a few other things. I would like to try in the future on the menu we had we sat outside. They do have a nice shaded area and it was a beautiful day and the service was prompt and we were seated quickly.

Another good breakfast at Morning Fork!!! We had the breakfast sandwich with chicken sausage instead of the bacon, and the corned beef hash with hash browns instead of sweet potatoes, and no Bernaise sauce. They get busy quick and since we didn't have a reservation we ended up sitting at the bar, where we had the wonderful bartender Hildy wait on us. Then pace is small but cozy, and not too small where it fills like you're on top of each other. The food here is always good, and they have a different them every month. The them today was Halloween/Wicked. We like to visit Morning Fork when we're in town and staying in Butchertown.

Wow!! What an AMAZING spot! From the moment you arrive to the greeting from our server, the service, the extraordinary flavors of every dish we tried wow!! What an amazing spot! Great vibes, good tunes, no doubt one of our new favorite spots!! When here ask for my guy Aaron

We had a great breakfast here! I first got a taste of Morning Fork at the Gravy Cup and I couldn't wait to try out their full menu! It was a grey day but still nice enough to eat outside and be seated right away. I never go for a sweet breakfast option, but the server's emphatic recommendation of the French toast swayed me. This was an amazing decision, especially with my husband ordering the corned beef hash. We really got the best of both worlds. We just sat on their patio, but I've heard they have cool rotating themes inside. We'll have to be back to check them out. Great brunch, would highly recommend!

The food was absolutely delicious, and the vibe was awesome! Everything had great flavor and was beautifully presented. Our server, Tammy, was amazing -- super friendly and did such a great job with her presentation. We'll definitely will be back.

One of my favorite places for brunch! The food is always fresh and so good! The owner is super nice and comes around the tables to make sure that everyone is good and enjoying their time there. Our server was very good taking care of our large party! I always enjoy their double mimosas and love their vegetable omelet. I really like the MFN breakfast sandwich too. The inside is small but they have a nice bar and a patio where you can enjoy their awesome menu.

I loved the vibe of this place as it was really cozy and everyone was super sweet. But the food was just not up to par. Small portions, not so much flavor, average presentation. The skillet potatoes were especially disappointing--they were pretty unappetizing. Probably won't give this place another shot.

We visited morning Fork while in Louisville, Kentucky. We decided to go for brunch where we enjoyed some delicious mimosas. I got an apple cider mimosa special, which I thought was very unique and I've never seen before and perfect for a touch of fall. It tasted good and I thought it was exceptionally nice that they didn't charge more for apple cider instead of the standard orange juice. I got a gravy and biscuit bowl with an over medium egg on top which I thought was savory and gooey delicious. My husband got a maple bacon breakfast sandwich. I also got a side of garlic butter grits which I expected to be exploding with flavor, unfortunately, it wasn't exactly that, but they were still good. The hashbrowns were very unique and I've never seen them prepared that way before and I also thought they very good, especially considering the crunchy contrast of the outside compared to the warm soft potato inside. We decided to enjoy this lovely morning outside where it was peaceful and we were able to bring our dogs which is always a plus. Service was fast and friendly and attentive, not only to us, but also to our dogs. They did also mention that it's very common for people to order their dog food off the menu as well which I thought was a super awesome option for dog lovers. Overall, this place, definitely impressed us, I wouldn't say that the food was phenomenal, but definitely better than your average Joe breakfast spot.

This place has the best cinnamon rolls. the Jumbo House Made Cinnamon Roll, and the Country Breakfast (eggs, breakfast meat and toast your way) is the choice if you are in the area for a great breakfast option. My wife opted for the MF'n Breakfast Sandwich consisting of Over Hard Fried Eggs, Crispy Candied Bacon, Avocado, Blackberry Jam and White Cheddar Cheese on Toasted Hawaiian Bread with a side of Fresh Fruit. It is one of the best breakfast options there is in Louisville, It's the ultimate sweet and savory breakfast favorite. If you would like the Bloody Mary for breakfast the House made version with Bacon salt and Wheatley Vodka is a true work of art. This place also has a full menu that is served from 7 am to 3 pm Wednesday thru Sunday. We also to tried the house made chili, totally unique and delicious. Start your day off right, this is the place to go you will be better for it. The staff is very welcoming and makes you feel at home. A great place, will return and highly recommend.

We came for their themed brunch (Star Wars week!) and had an awesome experience. The menu was creative and fun without feeling gimmicky--the food was actually delicious and super well-executed. Service was great across the board, and the staff was friendly and on top of everything. The owner, Geoffrey Heyde, even came by to check in on us, which was a nice personal touch. You can tell he cares about the experience. They do these special themed menus for one week each month, and now we want to come back just to see what they come up with next. If you're in Louisville and love brunch, Morning Fork is a must.

Cute brunch spot. I had the MF'n breakfast sandwich. It was really good. It comes with fresh fruit and I added a side of the roasted garlic & white cheddar grits. The grits tasted kind of bland to me. I also tried the Spicy watermelon margarita. It was so good!! I was surprised that I was able to easily find parking, especially since it was a Saturday morning. I also love that they have patio seating.

It had lots of shredded chicken, beans and corn (which could have been left out in my opinion). Don't get me wrong; everything was good, but it didn't live up to what everyone was saying. The location is great. It's on the corner of Frankfort and Clifton. I like all the windows and the chill vibe. It's seat yourself, but they do table service. We got empanadas: beef, chicken, and ham & cheese. They're great--just like the ones at Classico Takeout and Empanadas. They were out of the entree we wanted so we got the salmon. It was pretty good. My biggest disappointment was the pizza. Several people recommended the spicy Thai shrimp pizza. It was just okay. I did not taste any Thai flavor. It was basically a cheese pizza with diced shrimp and a drizzle of buffalo sauce. I didn't care for the crust either. It ended up being a $70 dinner that was just okay. If we go back, it'll probably be for the empanadas or fries. It seemed like almost every table got the pomme frites so they must be good.

She offered recommendations when we were indecisive, and made sure each customization was executed accurately. The food: unpredictable. Let me explain: I ordered the gazpacho and the ensalada fresca. Both come with a hearty slice of Blue Dog crusty sourdough. Gazpacho: one million stars. SO delicious - flavor is spot on, with incredibly creamy texture for a vegan soup. Salad: not bad, but didn't blow me away. The greens were tasty, and the few tangerine slices and pine nuts scattered on top added a nice depth. The balsamic dressing was also pleasant. As a whole though, I felt something was missing. Maybe a crunchy or warm element? For a $15 dinner salad I expected more. The pricing: a little steep. I understand the goal is to provide elevated European cuisine, however for the quality and quantity I didn't feel the salad was worth it. That said, I would gladly pay $4.50 all day long for that gazpacho. Overall I appreciate the variety of options, especially vegan and vegetarian menu items. I would consider a return visit for the gazpacho for sure, however the issues above merit shoring up.

The seasonal farmers market salad was everything summer should taste like, fresh, crisp greens with whey vinaigrette, market vegetables, and cave aged cheddar. Light but deeply satisfying. As a person with a disability, parking can make or break a dining experience. Unfortunately, there was no handicap parking available, and there were no nearby parking spots open when I arrived. I ultimately had to park in a hotel lot about a block away, which cost $25 for just two hours. Not only was the cost frustrating, but the additional distance was challenging given my mobility needs. The food was phenomenal and absolutely worth trying, but I do hope accessibility becomes part of the conversation for future guests. For those without mobility concerns, this may not be an issue, but for disabled patrons, it's something important to consider before visiting.

Because it was bigger than my head (ok, maybe this is a slight exaggeration but not by much) i had to disassemble it to eat it in stages. First off were the waffle fries and I found them to be tasty, crunch and fluffy in all the right spots. Once the taters were off I cut that biggie baby in 8 'Oh My Danwich' slices. Y'all, I rarely find myself at a loss for words, even my high dollar, 10 letter ones, but I can't fill this space with all the adjectives I would want in describing this sanwich that would make you want breakfast for every meal. The sausage had that savory salty pork taste that makes you happy you're not a vegetarian with an egg slice that was fluffier than my German Shepherd's downy fur. The cheese even had a nice pull with the topper being their chive aioli. And that sandwich was just the beginning because I also ordered a Strawberry Cruffin, Bourbon Peach hand pie and a raspberry Danish to have as late night snacks. The handpie didn't do it for me. The peaches lacked flavor that I found myself asking bestie if she wanted it because I was jiat going to toss in the trash after just 2 bites. The strawberry mascarpone cream in the cruffin was silky smooth and berrylicious with the croissant being flaky and fluffy. It was almost like a sweet and savory after school snack. The kind of bakery item that keeps you coming back for more. And more. And the piece de resistance was the raspberry Danish. I've lived my 61 years learning to never turn down raspberry anything and today, my raspberry research paid off. One hundred percent tenfold. Even though the glaze drizzle was super sweet, the flaky danish offset it with that light crunch but fluffy innards. Y'all, with each bite I just fell more in love. The Danish was so good that when I came to my last bite not only was I sad that it would soon be gone but I wanted to cry. Cry y'all. Over a Danish! Yes, do it. You only live once.
