The decor is very fun and funky, cute chandeliers, paintings, and furniture. I loved their banana bread absolutely delicious! I will say it took a while for them to bring it to me from the case without heating it even the tea with just a teabag. The front clerk even made a comment, "Here's your bread 5 mins later," sarcastically because she told me a while ago that it'll be right out. I ordered the fish plate that's the smoked salmon. Not a big fan, there was no base balance, I expected a spread kind of like lox or at least something that could hold down the ingredients because you have to make your own bite. I didn't enjoy constantly having to rebuild my sandwich because everything would fall out after every bite and the fish was a bit rubbery and hard to bite through, suspected a bit old. My partner ordered homemade granola yogurt bowl with fruit & it was okay. Nothing really special. Came a few months ago when it had just opened. It was a Sunday and pretty busy. People were coming in and out, trying not to stay too long at a table. You order at the counter and then they give you a buzzer. You can sit anywhere. It's basically self service. My sister and I tried the egg soufflé sandwich while our friend got the soft scrambled eggs which came with toast. The soufflé egg sandwich has been pretty trendy for a while. We don't have other spots in Louisville that serve it so it's unique. I've had it in other cities though. Fox in the Snow in Columbus, Ohio has an excellent one. More sauce on it and the bread isn't so crispy that crumbs go everywhere. I wanted Grale Goods to add more sauce to theirs. Otherwise, not a bad sandwich. We got coffee as well. You can go back up to get a refill for $1. Seemed inefficient to wait back in line for a refill though. Not sure if they've changed this since I've last been. The lunch sandwiches looked interesting to try. Overall, I hope they stick around for a while. We need more restaurants/cafes like this in town. read more

Went for lunch with a friend and got the chicken Caesar wrap. The wrap was a large portion and was nice ratio of lettuce to chicken. It was pretty thick on the dressing but had good flavor. It was on the pricier side and did not come with any sides. The interior had lots of seating options. It is order at counter, sit wherever and get a buzzer for when food it ready. Some friends, my husband, and I went here today for a quick breakfast before leaving town. We had been to Holy Grail and Grale Haus our last trip to Louisville, and it looks like this is new. My husband got the cinnamon roll and I got the donut with honey and sea salt, both were very good. We also got a brownie and a corn cake slice for the road, I haven't tried them yet but they look delicious. It's a little pricey here but on par with other places in the area. My husband also got an apple cider and it's from Huber's Orchard, which we went to yesterday, so that was fun. They also have breakfast sandwiches and lunch options. When you get to the counter to place your order, you'll be greeted by gray people waiting to take your order. We had a little breakfast which included pancakes and a breakfast burrito. Pancakes were very fluffy and delicious and the burrito was packed with nice fillings and very delicious. This is definitely on the list of places to return. read more

This place is good, I think in some ways they are still finding their footing, but I had no complaints here! We tried the tuna sandwich and the Caesar wrap. The Caesar wrap was $17 which is a lot for a wrap. However, to my pleasant surprise, it was HUGE and genuinely heavy. It was definitely big enough for two people to share, especially for lunch. We also got the blue velvet and strawberry sunrise smoothies. They were some of the best smoothies we had! We came at a busy time and the wait was decent but it's such a gorgeous place to just look at that we really didn't mind. They also stop serving pancakes at 11 but that wasn't on the website so we did come hoping to order pancakes and felt slightly disappointed we couldn't. But I'd love to come back and try some pastries (and maybe pancakes) some time! read more

I ordered the breakfast burrito. It was a great size, and very delicious! The pastry was okay, a little dry and I probably wouldn't order again. The drip coffee was pretty small and refills were a $1 each. We were a little disappointed in the value there. It is great to see another Grale business open! We had the breakfast burrito, egg soufflé and coffee. All were amazing. The Grales seem to now own the parking lot (between Holy Grale and Grale Goods) so parking is much easier than it used to be.
