To start off we really enjoy their food! But the wait to get the food is outrageous. We went on a Saturday and we were seating within 20 mins. The server came over and took our order and we waited an hour with no apologies just excuses. I love breakfast food but I don't like to pay for something I can cook at home (I work in restaurants so I'm biased). Well, I've been craving a Dine-In experience since COVID had us locked up, and saw they had a newish item on the menu: The Chicken & Waffles Benedict. And Y A L L. When I tell you, it was heaven in my mouth, i am not lying. They make this incredible homemade from scratch glaze/syrup that goes on it, and I need a recipe or someone to throw my money at because it is beyond delicious. I recommend asking for a side of extra. Definitely impressed with this dish, but I had to give extra props to the Chef because the chicken was juicy, and tender while nice and crispy on the outside. I decided to give this place a second chance and I'm glad I did. I ordered the Joe's scramble which was tasty as a good combination of ingredients (potatoe, spinach, bacon, Parmesan). It arrived hot despite the fact that the Uber Eats driver had trouble finding my place. I like that they give you a lot of butter/jelly/ketchup to go with your breakfast food. I think the waiters & waitresses carrying around the tablets that you eventually pay on, is rigged. They know it, their not stupid. Here's how it goes. They come to your table. You ask for your bill. They get out their tablet and bingo bango, you give them means of payment and ask, "if you'd like to leave a tip"? Here it comes, are you ready? Do you want to leave 18, 22 or 25%? This is where the problem starts with me. Don't get me wrong, I know the sin industry is tough, but there must be a balance. Here's what I mean, put simply! I came in for a reason, if your part of wait staff and you don't know what that reason is, you're probably not going to see much of a tip. An example might help here. My coffees empty, the front end girl is busy, they have 5 waiters, 3 of which are not busy, and 2 bus boys standing around doing nothing. Did my coffee get filled? Went here for breakfast today. The wait for a table on a Sunday at 11:30 was about 15 minutes. That's expected and not a problem. We were seated and offered drinks. The menu looked good. We both ordered the Ham Benedict. Both with crispy hash browns and one with soft eggs. Usually, a regular poached egg has a runny yolk, well the soft one did, but the other was just solid. The hollandaise sauce had absolutely no flavor, even a sprinkle of salt didn't help. The hash browns were crispy, but had a horrible oil taste. The food was extremely disappointing.
