I saw a review on this place after I'd been here with a friend. We had a pretty good experience and so I wanted to be very fair on mine. Visited a 3rd time and we had the same waiter, Trevor. Sweetest and very attentive to our needs. BTW, he's a Chiropractor by trade and waits at nights here. Service was great and so was the food. Restaurant is very clean inside and out. Bathrooms are just as clean, which for me is important since I have cancer. Veggie and Humus Platter is really good and the FlyBoy Pilots Peach Ale is fantastic Give this place a try you won't regret it

Deviled egg with emulsified crab. No flavor of crab and pretty bland.

Presentation of food was nice, but our deviled eggs which were supposed to be emulsified with crab had no flavor of crab and pretty bland. The pork chop and mahi-mahi dishes were both overcooked and very dry.

Since today is Mother's Day, we were able to get seats by the bar. Actually, we were given a seat by a corner, I told our hostess, that I needed to use the restroom first. My husband was parking, and I described her what he looks like, so she can just point him to our table. She said 'OK'. I got out of the restroom, and another host gave our table to another family, while my husband was texting me: "Where are you? I'm here!" I found our hostess, and she gave me another table, more in the middle, where there's more activities. Hubby ordered the Oregon Berry Pork Ribs, with onion rings, coleslaw and blackberry BBQ. The 'ranch dressing' for the onion rings didn't taste like ranch. I ordered the Steak Frites with citrus soy marinade, sidewinder fries, and broccolini. I like my steak, and the fries, but the broccolini, it needed something. I asked for honey mustard. I was almost done with dinner, and I was still waiting for honey mustard, we asked again for the 2nd time. I was so disappointed, because it had Dijon Mustard! That was a FIRST! Otherwise, the ribs and onion rings, were good, and the coleslaw was also good, but hubby's coleslaw was much better. (We HAVE to eat the vegetables, it comes with the meal!) Nobody refilled my water. The busboy I talked to was much friendlier. I asked him where the lake was, and he pointed it out to me. He also suggested, we "should go take a look, it's beautiful!" I agree! We took some photos. It's always dark, when we visit LO, so for the first time, we are seeing it in the daylight. I ordered a lentil vegetable soup to go, for my lunch at work tomorrow.

So a group of four couples are choosing a different restaurant each month. This was our first location to start off our monthly trek. It was a very good choice to start with. The service and food was excellent. Our waiter Dale did a great job, very professional. I had the deviled eggs appetizer. Sooo good. Would highly recommend. I then had the ribeye for dinner. The steak was excellent. But of course you have to bring it all to a close with creme brulee. :)

This is a redundant business to the Murrayhill Taphouse. I was disappointed to find the same menu here. While the venue is nice, a better restaurant with an original menu would be my vote. We do miss Manzano's that was here previously. They had great food. This place is just meh.

Been here for brunch a few times and happy hour. Food is really good, service is hit or miss. Kids' menu is great!

I have been at this newly renovated restaurant several times since they opened a few months ago. I have to say that the food has improved since opening week! It is owned by the upscale Five Spice Restaurant next door, which has amazing and consistent food, so no wonder it is good. When you go, try the focaccia- they serve large pieces with eight topping combinations- something for everyone. They cut each piece into 4 sections so they are easy to eat. I have tried nearly all of them and they are all good! Last night a friend ordered the Mahi fish tacos and I ordered the pork tacos. Then we shared. Both different and both delicious. In the picture you see the leftovers - one of each. They come with fresh corn chips a small but mighty cup of hot sauce. It had a kick - just perfect for me, too hot for my friend. The hot sauce added a little something, not just hot. Really nice flavor. As a Taphouse, they do not disappoint. Lots of choices in beer - and some really good ones that you rarely see. Why only 4 stars this time? Our waiter was not very friendly or present. Took our order, the food runner brought the food and, he eventually brought the bill. I wanted more of that great hot sauce and he was nowhere to be found. I have had great service there before, so have heart.

Been here twice now. Eh. Onion rings were the best part, corn dogs are a no go. Got the buffalo chicken avocado sandwich and there was the tiniest piece of avocado ever. Service was terrible. Second time - service was better. Shrimp Mac and cheese dish, it was good but I hated that the tails were still on the shrimp, it made it so messy because you only got a few in the dish so I had to pull off the tails, cut up the shrimp and then remix.

Tap house burger $17. So so. Pretty dry and pedestrian

4pm on Mother's Day. Service was good. Restaurant was clean. Food. Decided on the Steak Frites. Hmmm. Not super impressed. You receive an indeterminate sliced steak. Asked for medium, more well done. Demi-glacé was odd. Didn't like the flavor. Sidewinder fries OK. Sautéed asparagus were dry and not great. Wife's burger was marginal, many way better burgers in town. Don't know if we would return

Bruschetta trio 1. Balsamic tomatoes 2. Smoked salmon 3. Blackened shrimp
    Yeon C.

Corn dogs have been taken off the menu, but their bruschetta trio is just excellent! I chose balsamic tomatoes, smoked salmon and blackened shrimp!

Do they also serve wine and alcohol?

Yes. They have a full bar

    Is Happy hour available?

I don't think they've been open long enough, usually they add happy hour later like 6 months, my guess is Fall

The parking is under the building and make sure you park by the stairwell closest to the trolley. We had a hard time finding the way to get to the place. When we entered it was bright, pleasant and pretty warm inside, and smelled delicious. You wait in line to order and then grab a table. When we visited there was only 1 outside table. Each table has 3 sauces you can add to your crepe to enhance the flavor. I ordered the Farmer's Garden Delight Crepe and added bacon crumbles. I also opted to have both mushrooms and potatoes (menu says it's 1.25 for both and I was charged $3.25) in the crepe which was really good. There are 3 batter types you can choose from- traditional, buckwheat or gluten free. I tried traditional and my friend tried buckwheat and we both preferred traditional. We enjoyed our food and the staff members were nice. It did take about 20 minutes to get our food. Our crepes were really delicious. The downsides are the location- hard to get to, parking is funky, and limited outside seating. It was already loud with the street traffic and then a train came by which was very loud. Overall I would suggest checking out this place.

Coffee is the keystone of a breakfast joint. Gramma's moves through pots fast and is aggressive with refills. Thus, you get a lot of fresh, tasty drip. Fancy creamers available, the coffee doesn't need it since it's never old enough to get burnt. In terms of value, the most food for the buck in North Clack. Equivalent to Gateway Breakfast House; you can't do much better for bang for the buck. Service is friendly and remembers you even if you come here like once a month. Fantastic with food allergies in particular, and able to stack tables like a champ. Also, food comes out pretty quick without any sacrifice in... Quality. Gramma's shines at good, simple food. As discussed in value, the portions are big, the food really gets you properly fat, happy, and caffeinated, and you won't be hungry again for hours. My pass/fail for a place is the Denver omelet. It may also be the best thing on the menu here because they make it so that you get a bite of everything in every bite. Hot sauce selection is excellent and they have Cholula.

If you're looking for a spot with a great atmosphere, this is it. We had a 6:00 p.m. reservation on a Thursday, and although the restaurant was fairly busy, we were seated right on time. Our server was fantastic--friendly, attentive, incredibly quick, and very knowledgeable about the menu. He made some excellent recommendations, and everything he suggested was spot on. The drinks were well made, the food came out hot and fresh, and the timing of everything was excellent. While we couldn't get a seat on the patio (it was packed), we were able to get a table by the open glass doors giving us a somewhat distant lake view. Our server hooked us up with water and after our request, brought us some ice. We'd been out and about all day and was feeling dehydrated hence why we chose not to order anything from the bar. Off the appetizer menu we ordered onion rings and crab cakes and from the entree menu we chose scallops and salmon. Our intention was to share everything, which we did. The Mr. couldn't get enough of the onion rings with the BBQ dipping sauce. I liked them too, but preferred the dill sauce. The scallops were tasty and prepared pretty well although I prefer a heavier sear. The salmon was good, but I found the corn succotash to be slightly sweet. However the Mr. disagreed. He enjoyed the combination. Our biggest disappointment of the night were the crab cakes. Not sure if it was the filler or the sauce, but neither of us cared for it. They didn't taste good enough to finish, so I left half of mine We decided to skip dessert. Parking was a little tricky, but luckily we were there on a Sunday evening, so we were able to use the underground garage next door. At the end of the day I am not sure it was worth the 30 minute drive. YMMV
