I saw a review on this place after I'd been here with a friend. We had a pretty good experience and so I wanted to be very fair on mine. Visited a 3rd time and we had the same waiter, Trevor. Sweetest and very attentive to our needs. BTW, he's a Chiropractor by trade and waits at nights here. Service was great and so was the food. Restaurant is very clean inside and out. Bathrooms are just as clean, which for me is important since I have cancer. Veggie and Humus Platter is really good and the FlyBoy Pilots Peach Ale is fantastic Give this place a try you won't regret it

Deviled egg with emulsified crab. No flavor of crab and pretty bland.

Presentation of food was nice, but our deviled eggs which were supposed to be emulsified with crab had no flavor of crab and pretty bland. The pork chop and mahi-mahi dishes were both overcooked and very dry.

Since today is Mother's Day, we were able to get seats by the bar. Actually, we were given a seat by a corner, I told our hostess, that I needed to use the restroom first. My husband was parking, and I described her what he looks like, so she can just point him to our table. She said 'OK'. I got out of the restroom, and another host gave our table to another family, while my husband was texting me: "Where are you? I'm here!" I found our hostess, and she gave me another table, more in the middle, where there's more activities. Hubby ordered the Oregon Berry Pork Ribs, with onion rings, coleslaw and blackberry BBQ. The 'ranch dressing' for the onion rings didn't taste like ranch. I ordered the Steak Frites with citrus soy marinade, sidewinder fries, and broccolini. I like my steak, and the fries, but the broccolini, it needed something. I asked for honey mustard. I was almost done with dinner, and I was still waiting for honey mustard, we asked again for the 2nd time. I was so disappointed, because it had Dijon Mustard! That was a FIRST! Otherwise, the ribs and onion rings, were good, and the coleslaw was also good, but hubby's coleslaw was much better. (We HAVE to eat the vegetables, it comes with the meal!) Nobody refilled my water. The busboy I talked to was much friendlier. I asked him where the lake was, and he pointed it out to me. He also suggested, we "should go take a look, it's beautiful!" I agree! We took some photos. It's always dark, when we visit LO, so for the first time, we are seeing it in the daylight. I ordered a lentil vegetable soup to go, for my lunch at work tomorrow.

So a group of four couples are choosing a different restaurant each month. This was our first location to start off our monthly trek. It was a very good choice to start with. The service and food was excellent. Our waiter Dale did a great job, very professional. I had the deviled eggs appetizer. Sooo good. Would highly recommend. I then had the ribeye for dinner. The steak was excellent. But of course you have to bring it all to a close with creme brulee. :)

This is a redundant business to the Murrayhill Taphouse. I was disappointed to find the same menu here. While the venue is nice, a better restaurant with an original menu would be my vote. We do miss Manzano's that was here previously. They had great food. This place is just meh.

Been here for brunch a few times and happy hour. Food is really good, service is hit or miss. Kids' menu is great!

I have been at this newly renovated restaurant several times since they opened a few months ago. I have to say that the food has improved since opening week! It is owned by the upscale Five Spice Restaurant next door, which has amazing and consistent food, so no wonder it is good. When you go, try the focaccia- they serve large pieces with eight topping combinations- something for everyone. They cut each piece into 4 sections so they are easy to eat. I have tried nearly all of them and they are all good! Last night a friend ordered the Mahi fish tacos and I ordered the pork tacos. Then we shared. Both different and both delicious. In the picture you see the leftovers - one of each. They come with fresh corn chips a small but mighty cup of hot sauce. It had a kick - just perfect for me, too hot for my friend. The hot sauce added a little something, not just hot. Really nice flavor. As a Taphouse, they do not disappoint. Lots of choices in beer - and some really good ones that you rarely see. Why only 4 stars this time? Our waiter was not very friendly or present. Took our order, the food runner brought the food and, he eventually brought the bill. I wanted more of that great hot sauce and he was nowhere to be found. I have had great service there before, so have heart.

Been here twice now. Eh. Onion rings were the best part, corn dogs are a no go. Got the buffalo chicken avocado sandwich and there was the tiniest piece of avocado ever. Service was terrible. Second time - service was better. Shrimp Mac and cheese dish, it was good but I hated that the tails were still on the shrimp, it made it so messy because you only got a few in the dish so I had to pull off the tails, cut up the shrimp and then remix.

Tap house burger $17. So so. Pretty dry and pedestrian

4pm on Mother's Day. Service was good. Restaurant was clean. Food. Decided on the Steak Frites. Hmmm. Not super impressed. You receive an indeterminate sliced steak. Asked for medium, more well done. Demi-glacé was odd. Didn't like the flavor. Sidewinder fries OK. Sautéed asparagus were dry and not great. Wife's burger was marginal, many way better burgers in town. Don't know if we would return

Bruschetta trio 1. Balsamic tomatoes 2. Smoked salmon 3. Blackened shrimp
    Yeon C.

Corn dogs have been taken off the menu, but their bruschetta trio is just excellent! I chose balsamic tomatoes, smoked salmon and blackened shrimp!

Do they also serve wine and alcohol?

Yes. They have a full bar

    Is Happy hour available?

I don't think they've been open long enough, usually they add happy hour later like 6 months, my guess is Fall

This thing arrives like a savory mic drop: a patty that actually remembers how to be juicy, cheese that melts with the commitment of a rom-com lead, and bacon so gloriously crisp it deserves its own Instagram handle. I considered asking for a restraining order because I could not stop staring at it. The killer fries are not merely a side--they are a full-blown supporting cast that steals every scene. Crisp edges, fluffy centers, and a seasoning that whispers secrets about your childhood while simultaneously punching you in the best possible way. I tried to eat them politely; they laughed and dove headfirst into my mouth. Kid-friendly? Absolutely. TVs everywhere for the Super Bowl mean you can corral the tiny humans with cartoons and nachos while still catching every questionable referee call. Parents, bring a referee whistle and a napkin--both will be useful. The place hums with the kind of energy that says "family night" and "I might stay for the 4th quarter and a bourbon." Speaking of bourbon, the bar flexes hard. The huge tap list reads like a beer lover's Tinder profile--so many matches, so little time. And the bourbon selection is a love letter to anyone who knows their way around a rocks glass. The Weller Rainbow? Legendary. It's the kind of pour that makes you whisper "thank you" to the bartender and then immediately try to high-five them for good measure. Service moves with the efficiency of a well-rehearsed halftime show: friendly, fast, and somehow always in the right place when you need ketchup, a refill, or moral support after your team fumbles. Atmosphere is loud in the best way--cheers, clinking glasses, and the comforting glow of TVs that make every seat feel like prime viewing. Final verdict: Go hungry, bring the kids, park yourself in front of a TV, and let the bacon cheese burger and killer fries do the rest. If heaven had a menu, it would be printed on Duke Public House napkins.

The family obliged. We started with the gyoza and takoyaki. The gyoza were the best we've had. We had been wanting to try takoyaki for awhile and figured we'd finally give it a try. It was tender and delicious. We also got 3 sushi rolls and loved them all, some of the freshest tasting sushi we've had. The katsu chicken was good, though the rolls and appetizers knocked it out of the park so far by that time we were spending a lot of time the rest of the meal talking about how good they were. The service was fast and friendly. We weren't familiar with Lake Oswego but it's a very nice/upscale area, away from the city. It reminded us of a few cities we have similar to it in the Bay Area. The restaurant itself is not tiny, but definitely intimate. The lighting is nice in there and a light was brought to our table, which was a nice touch.
