This is a very nice Laughing Planet! We are normally regular purveyors of the Vancouver, WA branch but they frequently shut their doors due to lack of employees. Today on our way to Lake Oswego, we stopped at this Laughing Planet Clackamas location for lunch. The service and food selection was superior to the Vancouver branch. The ambience is awesome with tons of dinosaur, Godzilla and Anime's paraphernalia. Definitely worth a visit for many reasons. Highly recommend their kale pumpkin seed salad. Healthy and delicious!

I loved all the ingredients! They just didn't mesh together well enough with bland dressing to create any depth nor desirable texture and flavor. Service was sufficient. Nice and big fenced outdoor sitting area to provide some privacy from the busy Sunnyside Rd with coverage roofing protection from rain and sun. I liked the the smoothies didn't used sugar juice or added syrup. It was a bit running in texture for me. I might need to add for thicker texture next time I get it. The Caesar Kale Salad was so hard to chew on, combined with roasted chickpeas was definitely a disastrous choice. I dumped all the dressing on the small bowl and it still hard to chew on and tasted like nothing. I liked the Hunger Hungarian soup enough to perhaps get them again someday. I love mushroom so this was a life saver. The Indian Sauce offered with the Bollywood Bowl added nothing to the dish! The sauce itself was running, and bland with no particular flavor whatsoever. I love chickpeas but the staled roasted chickpeas on raw cut kales salad and the forgettable Indian Sauce for Bollywood Bowl were a lose-lose creation. I might come back to give other dishes a shot only if someone else pays my bill.

I had a bowl of their vegan potato leek soup. My hubby has the pot roast! We also shared a guacamole and chips . It was amazing. Great service and quiet ambiance. We will be back again and again!

Super friendly staff and food came out quick. I had the KBBQ bowl which was good! The beef was well seasoned and tender. The veggies were yummy with steamed broccoli and cucumbers with an kbbq dressing.

I ordered a couple cocktails here and both were top notched. The bartender was busy but was still friendly. The vibe here is trendy and definitely a great place to bring a date. The night I came there was a live singer performing.

We were visiting family in the area and had two people in our group local to the area who had been there several times in the past. We first went and checked in and were told there was a 10-15 minute wait. The hostess was very kind, took our number and sent us to the upstairs bar to wait for a table. We were greeted by a friendly bartender who took our drink orders (cocktails and wine) and we enjoyed our beverages while chatting by the bar. The restaurant is beautifully decorated with large velvet green booths, all new, updated and well done. The drinks were all great. The downstairs hostess came upstairs to let us know our table was ready, and we paid and went downstairs. So far, we were all really happy with our experience. The prices of the drinks were all around $15-20+ but we were all okay with it given the good service (thus far), high end atmosphere, etc. There were people in there but it was a pretty mellow Saturday evening. We were given a nice large area to sit and thanked the hostess. The waitress came and was clearly a little overwhelmed but took our drink orders. I mentioned a drink my husband had upstairs and asked if I could have it, but was told they had a different menu down here and I needed to order from that menu. I looked it over while the others ordered their drinks, and when she came back to me, I asked if I could go upstairs to order the drink I wanted, and bring it down. She said sure. I put in an order for a couple food items with her, and she left. My brother in law kindly offered to go upstairs and order the drink and was gone for quite a long time. We learned that when he was upstairs, he went to the bar and mentioned I wanted a drink from his bar. The bartender's mood shifted and he said he had 10 drinks ahead of my BIL, and asked him to go downstairs to order. My BIL informed him he was told the downstairs bar didn't have the ingredients, and was sent up here. The bartender was annoyed and asked my BIL to go downstairs for 10 minutes and come back again to order. My BIL replied that he was happy to wait at the bar instead and took a seat. After a long while, the bartender curtly said that my BIL would have to pay for the drink up here, which my BIL of course agreed to. My BIL said it was very uncomfortable and the bartender was being rude (a couple sitting at the bar also mentioned this). We are guessing he was overwhelmed and didn't handle it well. He brought the drink downstairs, no problem. We were all sitting for a while and noticed that my BIL never received the beer he ordered from the waitress downstairs. And after about 45 minutes I asked about the food I had ordered (she hadn't checked in with us at all during that time, and I should mention it was not busy at all - several tables open). The waitress said she forgot to put it in. That was it. No offer to quickly put it in, no offer to comp a drink, no real apology. We asked for the bill and split it between two cards. When we got the receipts and cards back, my husband found they had given both him and his brother (the other payer) copies of my husband's receipt-so he assumed he was double charged. He went to the front to bring this to their attention and explained how he was upset by the poor service throughout the evening. He received a quick response that they had printed the receipt twice (didn't charge twice) and were short staffed that evening. We are all understanding people and my sister in law ran restaurants for years, we all had food service jobs and are sympathetic but really just disappointed in this place. I'm writing this review because the employees there just didn't seem to care about the issues we raised. They had an acoustic artist playing that evening who was phenomenal. If you go there on a different day with different staff, I'm sure you'd have a great time. But for the price and ambiance, we really expected better service.

We used the occasion to hook-up with friends from Vancouver (also CA transplants) for lunch. We selected The Stone Cliff Inn as a convenient mid-way meeting place. What a delightful choice! As career restaurateurs (now retired) owners of a fine-dining California cuisine rustic restaurant of our own, we were most impressed by our complete dining experience at The Stone Cliff Inn. The atmosphere is spectacular (reminding us of the Ahwahnee Hotel in Yosemite) as was the food and service. The four of us ordered fairly standard faire for lunch...sandwiches and a salad entree. Everything was prepared perfectly both in taste and appearance. The service, too, was beyond reproach. Our primary server, Marianne and her attendants were excellent. The basics of attentive table-side service (prompt order-taking, delivery, beverage refills, plate clearing, dessert suggestions & check presentation) were all conducted in a comfortable professional style. I, too, would be remiss if I didn't comment on my being extremely impressed that every single staff member with whom I made eye contact addressed me with a friendly "hello" and a smile from ear-to-ear. All in all, this was a delightful visit and the owners of this restaurant deserve praise for executing such a professional operation.

It was good but definitely overpriced for what it is. You can tell the bagel is not a normal bagel, I think it was gluten free or something? That didn't bother me at all but just be aware of that. Also, the smoked salmon was not like typical lox, you can see in the picture that it's more flakey, more like cooked salmon with smoked flavor. I also got the muffin in the picture. It was a little dry/not fresh tasting, even after I asked them to heat it up. It definitely has a healthy/homemade taste, probably that it was made with some type of wheat or oat flour. I also got the oat chia pudding to go (not pictured) and it was good too, still on the pricey side but at least the portion isn't tiny. Overall, the ambiance is nice for a cute brunch and I like that they supposedly use clean ingredients (no seed oils and refined sugar). Nevertheless, I'm still disappointed that the shakshuka was sold out. Also, I experienced l bad stomach pains later in the day after I ate this but not sure what the cause was ‍

My spouses company Christmas party was at Claim Jumper this year. To be honest we weren't impressed with the food or the service. Not sure why they would have ran out at 5 pm on a Saturday. We got our salads, those were all good. However, the entrees were lacking flavor and the steaks weren't cooked as requested. We had to send a couple back to be cooked as requested. The menu said Jasmine rice was served with the dish but it was clearly plain steamed white rice. The veggies that came with our entrees were hard, like barely cooked hard. The desserts were good. That was the best part of the meal for me.
