a biscuit sandwich with bacon and cheese
    Maya C.

Ok, I know I am from the North and not an expert in southern- style cuisine. But, I think I know a good biscuit when taste one and this sure was! I was traveling for work and wanted to bring some goodies to one of the sites I was visiting. I got a bunch of chicken biscuit sandwiches and some with the English muffin options as well. My favorite was the spicy honey fried chicken with the biscuit! It is as so very good!! The whole group loved the food! The service was also great. They had an attendant outside taking orders and he was very helpful and nice. The people at the drive-thru were also warm and friendly! The order was big, but it was all correct. I wish I didn't have to wait until my next trip to North Carolina to have another one.

The service is amazing. Very clean also. There are options of different biscuits to choose from.

I see why the drive thru line was pack (also I think dining room was closed ).. the food here is prepared to order and good..biscuits are definitely homemade and good ... probably one of the best biscuits I've tasted since pillsbury lol. I will definitely visit again!

Whenever I'm passing through N Carolina.. in the morning or early afternoon..I go to Biacuitville. The service is top notch, the biscuits fluffy, and everyone smiles at me no matter what.. lol!! My cashier Monica, was speedy, accurate, and pleasant. My order preparer Bless was on point and totally a great helper. And the Shift Mgr Kevin, was nice and accomodating too...he was helping! The grillmaster/chef Allen, definitely went the extra mile as well. Loved my fluffy eggs.....ty Allen I had the sausage platter and cheese grits...which I would have had a picture of, but I inhaled them.. sorry...not sorry. The highlight for me though is the Master Baker Samy.. He is Awesome!!!

So glad we stopped here. This will be on my list of places to stop on my way to Charlotte. The service was a 10!!! Everyone there greeted us with a smile and/or conversation. You can tell they are a bonded group because when some were getting off there were comments from their co-workers like "be safe", "love you", "enjoy the rest of your day". The manager took our order and he must be the model that everyone follows because he was full of conversation, smiles and cheer. The star of the show was the food!! I'm not a biscuit lover but decided on biscuit items because of the name of the restaurant. Whoa! The Cuban was delicious!!!!! The flavors that all of the ingredients added to was chef's kisses. The biscuit was light and perfect. I also got the spicy chicken and honey which was good but kicked up a notch when I added a fried egg. They also had little doggie biscuits that they make. Had to get some for my doggie (she loved it too!!!). I'll be back y'all!!!

Had to stop and get some biscuits on our way back

Returning back from NC State and worth the wait in line well organized well prepared biscuits are always the thing to get.

Now listen I'm a sucker for some good breakfast and this place right here O-M-G!!!! The best pancakes you could ask for....very fluffy and light. When I saw the sign I did a u-turn because I knew the breakfast was gonna be on point. I went through the drive thru and was asked to pull up. Two cars had gone through drive thru before I got my food. Not sure what that was about but it was a bit of a wait. Anyway if you ever in North Carolina make sure you make it your business to stop here and get some of the best breakfast served in the state!!!

These trips often centered on NC BBQ, Burgers, Hot Dogs, Fried Chicken, and Fried Seafood, and sometimes a local specialty or two - think Liver Pudding in Shelby, Sonker Festival in Mt Airy, Soft Shell Crab in May on the OBX, Eastern NC BBQ and Collards in Ayden, Pork Chop Sandwich at Snappy Lunch in Mt Airy, and more. I don't do these kinds of food runs as often now, nor do I range as far afield, but there is much with in 100 miles that offers a nice adventure. On this 2 day run into High Point/Thomasville I was interested in burgers and hot dogs primarily, some new spots, some old friends! I intended to visit the Dairi-os in High Point and Thomasville, the Cook Out in High Point, Oscar's Fine Food, The Dog House, and Tucker's Grill. I also intended to pick one from Curry & Spice, Island Fest, or Sixty Six Grill in Thomasville. This was my first stop here and I ordered the Big Double with Cheese, Lettuce, and Tomato, but no Mayo. I don't care for the mayo here, it is very thin, and runs everywhere. I add Duke's mayo from a small packet, then add salt and pepper, and I'm good to go. This was a very, very good cheeseburger once adjusted, and the tomato (which you'll pay extra for, as well as the slice of cheese). The total with the tomato and cheese was $4.59, still a bit of a bargain in today's market place. The slice of tomato was huge and delicious. The service here was quick and pleasant, further contributing to the enjoyable experience.

Our food was brought out by a very pleasant and polite young lady with orange in her hair. I'm sad I didn't catch her name as she was wonderful! My OJ was missing but she had no problem grabbing me one when asked! We tried a fry on the way home, and I'm glad we did. We have about a 15 min drive and the fries did not hold up hot and fresh. They were still good, but that first car fry was amazing! We'll definitely dine in or eat the fries in the car next visit! The burgers were phenomenal. They were full of flavor and the toppings complemented them nicely! They were nice and hot when we got home as well! Only downside was the missing sauces in our bag. Not a deal breaker and I should have checked before we left, but it's okay! We have ketchup at home and I hadn't yet decided how to use my ranch! As before, I give this a resounding 5 stars. The menu has changed a little bit since I last wrote a review, and I've tried some new items. I have yet to try anything that I didn't like. My new go-tos are the raging chicken salad on a croissant and the berries and cream pastries. If you read my previous review, you will see that I was working up the nerve to try the chicken salad, because I'm somewhat meat-averse at times, and also don't like heavily mayonnaised foods, which is a big risk with any of the so-called "salad" items (potato, chicken, tuna, etc.) in life. I can now confirm that the chicken salad is 1) not overly mayonnaised and 2) made from not-gross chicken (I have no further explanation for this, but picky eaters will know what I mean). It's relatively light, has a nice texture, and is flavorful. It is one of my favorite weekend lunch items (or weekday, if I'm working remotely and in the area) now, not just here but in general. The berries and cream pastry is delicious and I would eat everyday, or even multiple times a day, if my figure and my wallet could afford it. Sweet, rich, flaky. Definitely one of my favorite dessert / sweet snack items currently. I also got a birthday cake made here and it was absolutely gorgeous (and delicious, obviously). Very well executed and totally got my vision. As I said before, there is plenty of seating inside (outside too!) and the volume level is perfect -- lots of people coming through, but quiet enough I can read, study, or do work. We spend several hours at a time in here some weekends. Highly recommend to anyone in the area or passing through.

After much hype and inquiring with a friend, we decided to try Pantry Fried Chicken, a.k.a. "gas station chicken", selecting a location closest to our house. We opted to order a la carte items, which saved us almost $10 (essentially eliminating drinks). Our meal consisted of chicken tenders, boneless chicken wings, fish fillet, large side of wedges, side of coleslaw, and fried okra. Soft rolls were a bonus! The breading on chicken is crunchy & tasty and comes with an array of sauce selections. The large size wedges could feed an army (at least 4-6 ppl). Potatoes were crunchy on outside (coated?) and soft & tender like a baked potato on the inside (our favorite). The okra was chewy. Now, I'm not sure how to rectify this issue as it had been sitting in a closed container, possibly trapping moisture (maybe wax paper bags?) ‍ Unfortunately , the fish was included in okra container (problem for those who don't like their food touching, but we didn't mind), and fish seemed a bit undercooked, hard to cut, a bit chewy/fishy for my liking. Not sure what type of fish they used, but I do prefer mine cooked a bit more (maybe they accommodate this request?). The coleslaw was tangy (I could definitely identify the horseradish!). All in all portion sizes are plentiful and they provide good value for the money. Everything cooked appears to be deep fried and nothing really stood out besides salt/pepper as seasoning and the potato wedges. You do get good portion sizes and value for the money. Add-ons also seem reasonable. We ordered via app (they have a rewards program) which provided follow-up texts regarding pick-up instructions and thanking us for our order/visit again. You can additional items (per piece price) to a la carte items. Again, this is located at a gas station in a strip mall near Scientific. The ambiance is storefront carryout with lots of parking lot traffic (so be aware). Not sure if dine-in options are offered (aside from your car interior). Recommend checking them out--even if it's once--and form your own opinions. (I was raised on broasted chicken/potatoes, so I may be a bit biased.)

The12 spots stretch from Jacksonville NC in the east to Hendersonville in the west! And there appear to be plans to expand into Greensboro, and perhaps Burlington. I like that these are company run operations, it can make quality controls matters easier to administer and monitor. Perhaps the biggest contributor to inconsistent quality at fast food chains is the quality control mandates are not vigorously enforced. The only major chain that I'm aware of that does insist standards be met is Jersey Mike's, and they have even suspended franchisee agreements of non- compliant stores. This is a very nice location, bright and shiny with easy access to drive thru or parking. I ordered two hot dogs, one with mustard and sauerkraut and one with mustard, chili, and onions. I don't order the combo here because I don't care for the FF. As usual the hot dogs were excellent, and I am becoming quite fond of the sauerkraut dog - the kraut has a nice bite to it.
