Biscuitville is one of my go to spots for a biscuit and this location has always been a great location, moving you through the drive through line quickly with great service. The employees are always polite as you order and when greeting you at the window. The biscuits are always fresh and fluffy, the country ham is second to none, and you definitely cannot go wrong with the bacon, egg, and cheese. This location does not have a huge indoor area but there is normally plenty of seating if you choose to go inside for a bite. read more

My wife stopped here today to get a couple of biscuits to go. We have eaten here many times with no issues. Boy did that change today. First off my wife's ultimate bacon biscuit was fine. When I unwrapped my ultimate ham biscuit I noticed right away that it seemed undercooked. When I took the top half of the biscuit off the smell dang near knocked me out of my chair. The ham had a definite rotten smell to it. I didn't feel like taking it back so we just threw it away. I'm definitely marking this place off my list. read more

I've been at this location several times now and prefer coming here even though it's out of the way. This location is always clean and easy to get to. The staff are nice and the manager is great. On this visit, I had the Cuban breakfast biscuit combo. ( fried pork chop with fried country ham on top, cheese, pickle, mustard on biscuit) the wife had a spicy chicken and honey biscuit with butter grits and loved it. The food is always good and fresh and was no change this time either. The best part about coming here is while waiting in line to order you can watch the biscuits being made fresh by hand at this location and every location for that matter. Biscuitville has been a favorite of mine for years. I first tried the biscuits in the mid-70s in Danville, Va, site of the first stand-alone restaurant named Biscuitville - that spot was closed in 2020! Before that the biscuits were sold in the morning hours in Pizzaville locations, primarily in the Triad area - the first two had opened in Burlington in 1966. By 1978 all Pizzaville location had been converted to Biscuitvilles! The biscuits are made fresh daily, with batches processed every 15 minutes in an open kitchen area. The biscuits are made from locally sourced flour, buttermilk, and shortening. They also locally source their bacon, sausage, eggs, and much else, including Cheerwine from Salisbury, and Cackalacky dipping sauce from Pittsboro. These are very good biscuits, among the very best available locally, better than any national fast food chain with the possible exception of BoJangles. I'm not a big fan of their breakfast platters, but the biscuits rock. My favorites are Sausage & Egg, Bacon, Egg & Cheese, and Country Ham & Egg, and the Fried Chicken biscuits. We moved to the Southeast (Winston-Salem area) two years ago. Several of the fast food restaurants are new to us and Biscuitville is one of them. However, with so many new options and our preference to eat at a "new to us, sit down restaurant", we have not experienced many. We were in a bit of a rush last Sunday and we already know that many restaurants are closed on Sundays. We were driving down Lewisville-Clemmons road and remembered there was a Biscuitville. A good friend of mine who has lived in both North and South Carolina raved about Biscuitville when he last visited. So, we decided to check it out. As we drove into the parking lot we could see the drive thru was backed up to the street. We chose to park in the lot next door and go inside for the full experience. The line inside was was about five party's deep and there was only one register in operation. We were able to check out the menu board behind the counter and make our selections. As we waited we saw the biscuit window. A male employee was behind the window making biscuits for everyone to see. There was even a tilted mirror above so customers are able to see them preparing the dough. My wife decided to try the bacon, egg and cheese biscuit without the cheese and a bottled water. I chose the Spam Classic Crunch biscuit from their limited-time menu with a side of country fries and a fountain drink. I was impressed they had Diet Mountain Dew and filled up my cup. The place was busy but the cashier was helpful and efficient. She provided us with our receipt and told us they would call my name when the order was ready. We found a small table that appeared to be clean while others needed wiped down. Most of the tables were occupied. We waited just a few minutes and my name was called. The sandwiches were wrapped up nicely and I grabbed some ketchup packets and napkins. Our first Biscuitville experience was good but not great. Everything in our order got the job done but nothing really stood out. We would visit again. My wife has ordered the sausage balls from the catering menu for her colleagues to enjoy in the office and they are always a big hit. read more

Biscuitville is more than a fast food breakfast. Their options are different and their quality is a lot different! If you're traveling through this area it's a must try. Our Clemmons location has some excellent efficiencies and operators. We've never had a wrong order. With that said they're still very busy on the weekend mornings. The drive through is almost always backed up onto the side street and sometimes all the way back Lewisville Clemmons Rd. But, they move through it reasonably quick. It's consistently backed up because that many people want some Biscuitville. Don't fear a long drive through line...In this case it means the food is good. They keep it moving. It's very convenient to i40. Our go to is the hot honey chicken biscuit. A fried chicken with local honey and Texas Pete (despite the name that's a local sauce) on their awesome made from scratch biscuit. It's never wrong. It's always good. Sometimes I branch out. While I love their seasonal variety I'm yet to find anything worth the opportunity cost of missing a hot honey. Most recently I went in for a jalapeño pimento country fried steak. I love Biscuitville. The food and service is always great. The 50 cent additional charge per egg is ridiculous. That's $6.00 a dozen extra. I can go to Harris Teeter and buy a dozen Egglands Best eggs for $6.88. They are buying tons of eggs in bulk and certainly get a better price than that. Someone is making a killing. The country fries are good too, and I don't think anyone can fry an egg better for a sandwich than Biscuitville. They're always busy. I phoned in a catering order 24 hours in advance, wasn't ready when I went to pick up. They prepped it pretty quickly though, if they're not going to have the food ready, or just start prepping when you arrive, not sure why they even offer to order in advance. We've been going to this location for over 20 years, especially when we need large quantities for social events. Have never had an issue calling the day before to place an order. Well things have apparently changed. Called Friday morning to get an order for Saturday morning and was very rudely told there is a 24 hour minimum for all orders. When we asked if we could pick up in what would have been just a couple of hours short of that, we were again rudely told absolutely not. We then called the location on Peters Creek Parkway and they were happy to help. Not as convenient for us but I'll make that extra drive for the better service. I am a regular at this biscuitville. I go through the drive thru every morning , the people in the drive thru are very nice and always make sure I have everything. If I have to go in I will, but I've never been crazy about the older lady that is a cashier , she never smiles or says have a nice day. That's the only complaint I have about this location. I have seen the "Biscuitville" locations all around the Triad for years and had never given them a try. So, I stopped by on my way to market. The menu was pretty much standard fast food breakfast fare. The thing that set this place apart form so many others was the service I recieved. I had a special request for my breakfast (Fried Bologna Biscuit- well done "crunchy" bologna and a slice of tomato). The nice lady at the counter kept an upbeat and positive persona even to my outside the ordinary order. She then walked to the back to remind the cook of my special request. Last month my husband I observed the older lady cashier run out to the dining room for a minute to use a filthy rag to wipe off one table, which she only used to wipe off food onto the seats and floors. Though we were pretty grossed out, we decided to brave this restaurant again (on a weekday), and we were discussing our recent observation about the cashier using a nasty rag to clean tables, etc. Seated next to us was an employee on break, having a bite. She proceeded to get up, tell a cashier about our conversation. The next thing we knew, this cashier grabbed a rag, left her cash register, and proceeded to strut around the dining area, raising her voice to announce that she was taking her DIRTY RAG to clean off tables. Over and over again she did this, until a customer would walk in and need to be rung up. Then back out to the dining room, with the same ridiculous performance. A clear effort to try to intimidate us, strutting around and making a scene. Reported this to Biscuitville corporate, and had a conversation about it, but we never received any follow up call to either apologize or explain what sort of actions were taken. This was a ridiculous situation and shouldn't have happened, and was not properly addressed by Biscuitville corporate offices. So -- dirty restaurant, dirty restrooms, staff using nasty rags to pretend to clean the tables, floors not swept, and nasty little staff members who think it's appropriate to run around the restaurant trying to intimidate customers who dare to complain.
