    Delicious biscuit & gravy!
    Em H.

The biscuits and gravy at Biscuitville alone are worth a trip to the restaurant. This location is not far from the main thoroughfare, and it's a good place to stop for a quick breakfast.

Biscuitville is more than a fast food breakfast. Their options are different and their quality is a lot different! If you're traveling through this area it's a must try. Our Clemmons location has some excellent efficiencies and operators. We've never had a wrong order. With that said they're still very busy on the weekend mornings. The drive through is almost always backed up onto the side street and sometimes all the way back Lewisville Clemmons Rd. But, they move through it reasonably quick. It's consistently backed up because that many people want some Biscuitville. Don't fear a long drive through line...In this case it means the food is good. They keep it moving. It's very convenient to i40. Our go to is the hot honey chicken biscuit. A fried chicken with local honey and Texas Pete (despite the name that's a local sauce) on their awesome made from scratch biscuit. It's never wrong. It's always good. Sometimes I branch out. While I love their seasonal variety I'm yet to find anything worth the opportunity cost of missing a hot honey. Most recently I went in for a jalapeño pimento country fried steak. It was good, but too much pimento and just not as good as the chicken. Their fries are excellent, I love their gravy, and bonus points for so many local ingredients

A small interior with a handful of tables and chairs with a short bar with a few bar stools. Was greeted walking in and told to sit where I like, so I grabbed a table by the window and enjoyed the sun while waiting for my food. Ordered a couple chili dogs with slaw on top with a side of baked beans from the menu and relaxed a bit. My dogs showed up within a few minutes, cooked very well with a nice amount of chili and topped with sweet coleslaw. It hit the spot and was a bargain at the price. A simple lunch done very well and a comfortable place to enjoy it. Worth a visit and your support. 3.5 Stars rounded up for the good chili dogs 01139

The sides are very small for the price point and my roll was not included. The food could use seasoning. For this place to be so out of the way, it is not worth it for take out as the restaurant does not properly prep for a long drive. There are ways that the food could be packaged to preserve some of the heat. The meat should be wrapped in foil to keep the styrofoam box from making it soggy. The restaurant is quaint but for the price, there are better soul food options. Lack of seasoning and tiny portions are a turn off.

Although it's tucked away in an unassuming business district, this restaurant is truly a hidden gem. From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by the warm, inviting space and exceptional service. Everyone made us feel welcome, and the attention to detail throughout our meal was outstanding. We started with the Ahi Tuna appetizer, which was absolutely delicious. It was served over a bed of crisp sliced cucumbers and the most amazing vinegar coleslaw. The combination of flavors was fresh, light, and memorable. Even the warm dinner rolls were outstanding and set the tone for the meal. For our entrées, the meatloaf was everything comfort food should be. It was tender, juicy, and perfectly seasoned, served over creamy mashed potatoes with fresh French green beans. We also ordered the Chef's seasonal Squash Casserole, and it was phenomenal. If it's on the menu when you visit, don't miss it. Milner's way exceeded our expectations: wonderful food, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere made for a memorable evening. We will absolutely make the trip back the next time we're in Winston-Salem.

We were able to park right up front. We made reservations and were seated right away. Our waiter, David, was absolutely amazing. He was incredibly knowledge about the menu, honest with his recommendations, personable, and very attentive throughout our visit. (Somebody give that man a raise!) The atmosphere was warm, sophisticated, and causal all at the same time. The dim lights created a nice ambiance without being so dark that you can't see. The dining room offers a mix of traditional tables, semi-private booths and a bar area. They also have a private room available. The bathroom was very clean and even smelled fresh. They had a good mix of music and a television is available at the bar. Now for the really important stuff. The food was absolutely amazing! I tried the Moravian cookie-pecan crusted salmon with collard greens, zucchini. The meal was a nice size and tasted amazing. I ate every bite. For dessert, we tried the White chocolate-almond bread pudding with vanilla bean ice cream. I'm usually not a bread pudding kinda girl, but this was the exception. Like everything else, it was delicious. This was an awesome visit. HIGHLY recommend!

We were seated right away and our waitress came by very promptly w menus in hand and ready to take our order. Since we had just been seated we both needed time to read all the selections on the extensive menu. I noted that they serve breakfast all day as well as lunch and dinner. We were served promptly and the orders were correct even with substitutions asked for. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful. She was very good at remembering how we wanted our orders and even asked us if any of the items were to come first or after our main dishes. She also made sure to refill our coffee and water quickly. The food was a good helping, cooked perfectly and still hot and fresh. I had a cheese omelette that came w hashbrowns, sausage and toast. I wanted a waffle so I decided to try the one with warm blueberry syrup and whipped cream. Yum. My friend ordered a turkey club sandwich w fries. It looked like a large portion, no complaints on that either. There are plenty of tables and some booths in the spacious dining room. No one rushes you there so if you wanna read a paper or catch up with a friend this is a nice place to do that.

My hamburger steak and the biscuits were very good this time even though my broccoli side was lacking, Dad enjoyed his pancakes and particularly his fried eggs as well. Going with 4 stars but only because the visit deserves more than 3 stars for some of the food, again really want to go with 3.5 stars if I could. The Deets: When visiting the folks for the Father's Day weekend, Dad said he wanted to head by Cracker Barrel and get some pancakes for a late brunch so we stopped the nearest one over in Clemmons. It's been years since I visited this location, and honestly, really nothing much has changed from what I remember. It is the same basic formula with the country store area as you enter and then you go to the host desk to the side for the dining area. Luckily since we were stopping by a bit later even for a lunch, the crowd had left for the most part and we were seated promptly. Again, everything in the seating area is the same and could really use some TLC (lots of dust on the ceiling fans, more than a rustic type of appearance that could use a refresh, etc.) Our server was very nice in letting us having a few extra minutes to take in both the breakfast and lunch/dinner menus so we could decided what we wanted to go with today. Dad stuck with his pancakes, adding fried eggs and sausage. Mom got the Old Timers Breakfast menu selection, and I decided on the hamburger steak with two sides of steak fries/steamed broccoli. I enjoyed my coffee as we waited for our meals. Once they arrived, Dad really enjoyed his pancakes and particularly complimented the fried eggs. Mom was OK with her breakfast, nothing extraordinary or bad noted from her. My hamburger steak was really good, not dried out and plenty of flavor, I enjoyed it. My mother and I really liked the biscuits, baked just right. Steak fries were OK, but there were a good number of them extra greasy though. My steamed broccoli was cooked just a bit too long, not very much crunch left to it and pretty bland (Mom tasted and agreed with the latter). I went back and forth between 3 and 4 stars for this visit, I really wish I could give 3.5 stars here. In looking at everything, I really think in the long run they deserve more than 3 stars with the good hamburger steak and biscuits as well as Dad really enjoying his pancakes/fried eggs so I will go with 4 stars, just knowing I feel like 3.5 stars honestly.
