I ordered a coffee, a hash brown, and the Spicy Honey Chicken Biscuit. The coffee was just okay, while the hash brown was crispy and tasty. The highlight was definitely the biscuit itself--it was soft, buttery, and perfectly flaky. The only downside was the chicken sandwich. I was expecting more of that spicy honey flavor, but it was pretty mild and didn't deliver the sweet-and-spicy kick I was hoping for. Overall, it was a decent breakfast stop. I'd give the Spicy Honey Chicken Biscuit a 3.5/5, and I'd be willing to come back and try a few other menu items. read more

As a "northerner" I had never heard of Biscuitville, but was excited to try this early morning breakfast stop. I love all things carbs and breakfast sandwiches, so I really could not say no. I kept it simple with a chicken biscuit and a sausage biscuit. Both were a good portion and tasty. The biscuit was soft and buttery. They definitely paired well with my morning coffee. Just awful! Ordered pork chop breakfast. I've eaten at location number two on garners ferry and the difference is like night and day. Biscuit was overcooked and look like the oil was old because of the sediment. Ran out of grits. Replaced it with runny grits with no seasoning. A little salt, butter or something might have helped. Cashier was nice enough, but the register had no cash. Had to keep running to the drive-through to make change. Worker seemed annoyed at questions. Could be just really didn't know. To be fair, the location was fairly clean, but in discussion with other customers, they all seem to think it was much faster and polite when it first opened. No worries, won't be back. I finally got to try the famous biscuitville and I was not impressed. I've had better breakfast, let alone better food elsewhere. I ordered the turkey sausage combo; which comes with hashbrowns or country fries (wedges) and a drink for about $8. I wanted to try the biscuits but was given an English muffin instead. The sandwich came with egg and cheese which was not hot. The fries were hot and seasoned good but were nothing special. When I ordered they asked me a name for my order so I thought the food was going to be hot if anything, it wasn't. The staff was nice and pleasant though, The coffee was okay. I honestly don't see myself going back and don't know what the hype is about. I appreciate them having a Turkey sausage option but I can get better else where. read more

These biscuits were frozen and still not done in the middle. They were surprisingly flat. Also, for the price you're paying the quality isn't there. I got a spicy chicken biscuit and it looked like a frozen Tyson patty. After eating here, I immediately drove across the street to Bojangles because I wanted a real biscuit. This brings back memories now that Biscuitville is in Cola! It was very busy but it was Saturday morning and everyone probably had the same idea we had. The service was amazing and you almost forget this "fast food" for breakfast. My favorite thing we got today was the loaded country fries. But how is potato wedges topped with Bacon, ranch,cheese and sausage gravy be bad??! Both our biscuits were amazing. But do yourself a favor and get the side of apple butter! I LOVE biscuits and am very very very particular about my them so I was excited to hear about Biscuitville & had never had them before. I went three days in a row ! The line is always long but the service is very fast. I tried the sausage biscuit, the cheese grits, the sausage gravy (with a butter biscuit) and the iced caramel latte. *Sausage Biscuit: The biscuit was consistently good each time-- light, soft and buttery.. not super thick. This is and will be my go to each time. It was pricier than expected but worth it in my opinion. *The cheese grits: I didn't like the cheese or the grits. I wouldn't get the grits by itself and would not get the cheese on anything else. It's a super super sharp cheddar. *The caramel latte: it was good, nothing extravagant about it. It's creamy and taste more like an iced coffee vs .espresso. *The sausage gravy: VERY GOOD! It was seasoned well and had the right amount of sausage The customer service was great each time. I would give 0 stars if possible! I got to the Clemson Rd at 7:40am on today, Easter! One of the workers yelled at me twice that they didn't open till 8am. I waited in the parking lot till then. I go to the door at 8am that was locked. Someone came to open the door and she tells me they don't open till 9am due to a large order. I said I had been waiting in the parking lot after being told that they open at 8am. She says she is sorry and tells me she can take my little order. I visited the new Garners Ferry Road, Columbia location and just wow! This is what a biscuit house should be. Let's start with the biscuits. Homemade fresh every 15 minutes! Not greasy like Hardee's or Bojangles. Not tiny like Chick-fila. Perfect "grandma made em" portions. The menu is full of great options including the typical but done right. Then the breakfast swirls was incredible. So fresh, tender, perfectly sweetened. Excellent treat with excellent coffee! Oh -- Breakfast platters and pancakes as well! Can't wait to try those. The drive-thru attendants greeted me as I got out to go inside. Good morning! How are you doing? And the same friendly smiles and greetings as I walked inside. They honestly made me feel that they were glad to see me come in. The outside is attractive adorned in a country colors. The inside is a modern modest style that is warm and inviting The place was busy but not once did I hear "it will be 10 minutes or we don't have any ready." Rude, immature workers. Instead of asking me how I would like to resolve my issue, they turned away and made fun of my complaint while giggling and laughing with others at my expense. Even the team lead was laughing with the worker at the window. I will NEVER ever go there again. This was my first and last trip. The young man that handed me my food was kind and empathetic and said he hoped my day gets better. That meant a lot. I cannot comment on the food as I refused to eat it after being treated in that manner. My only regret was that I should have got the young man's name that treated me so nicely after the others were so disrespectful. read more

'Twas an immaculate display of biscuits and hash browns, thy hot honey chicken was sufficient and thy original chicken did its due diligence. On thou other hand thy biscuits accommodated with the gravy's was thin and lacked what some might call flavor, that is the only complaint I shalst remark. Went there 3 tines on 3 separate days. The first day they messed up my order, I called and they said they would make it right. The fruit rolls I got were ubderbajed, and there was no grits. The sausage was overdone, and the scrambled eggs were overcooked. Day 2 I got my order, asked to make sure the items were correct as I went in to pick up. I got to work to find no sausage, no eggs, no grits, no biscuit(but they charged me for apple butter which was in the bag), and a container of sausage gravy raspberry roll that was raw in the middle. I called again and they apologized, and asked me to come back for them to correct the mistakes. Third time, I arrived making sure the items were correct, and when getting to work I opened to find overcooked scrambled eggs, hard and tasteless sausage patties, soupy grits, overcooked biscuit, juice that they charged me for(which was fine), and apple butter that they charged me for. I was going to call, but after 3 times why would I. I will NEVER go to this location or probably never to the franchise. Went here with a friend who absolutely loves the place. It was very crowded both the drive thru and inside. I had a strawberry lemonade drink and it was delicious, it too sweet and not too tart. I also ordered the breakfast platter which came with eggs, a biscuit I had grits and bacon. The bacon was cooked just right for me CRISPY!!!! the grits were good and creamy as well. I recently wrote something concerning this business. Apparently, I have the name confused with another brand. I did not care for the biscuits. I thought they were very dry. It took a long time to get my food and when I received it, it was very bland the process of ordering food and receiving it needs some fine-tuning, this is definitely not a place that I would repeat. There are two other places in Columbia, South Carolina that primarily specializes in biscuit type breakfast lunch and dinner which will make this place hard to stay open. I can see this business closing down quickly if they do not make changes. read more

I was not exactly sure what to expect from a biscuit house that had no other sandwiches to offer really. I was pleasantly surprised. The sandwiches are biscuits instead of buns, are very tasty, and similar in size to a burger from a typical burger place. I sampled both the smoked sausage biscuit with grilled onions and peppers, as well as The Cuban. Both excellent and satisfying. The biscuits are not greasy and the condiments that compliment the protein choices, go well with the biscuit flavor and are not overwhelming in quantity. I used the drive-thru, so I cannot comment on the interior, cleanliness or the staff. But they have only recently opened here on Killian Road, and while they were backed up around the building being the new place to taste, they were quick and kept the line moving. I was surprised to see they are oriented to brunch/lunch and close at 2pm. I would go here again, and the food is definitely evening meal worthy. read more

Underwhelming at best. Not what you think of in a "biscuit place " they skimp on biscuit dough (about the thickness of a typical slice of bread). I can get a bigger/better spicy chicken biscuit at bojangles for less. Forgot about making my soda AND ordered their limited time sausage, peppers, onion bfast sandwich and they completely omitted the main part! No egg, no cheese.
