We did a comparison of The biscuit Kitchen across the street and Biscuitville. Biscuitville biscuit: The service was fast and we didn't go inside, but the drive through setup was confusing. The biscuits is an average size, but flaky buttery and slightly crispy, The bacon is a normal size fir takeout and the cheese was fine. My kids didn't liked the pancake said it was hard and the grits had sugar we didn't ask for sugar grits..But the home fries were amazing: soo crispy. The coffee was good and southern punch was flavored well . Biscuit kitchen : taste like buttermilk biscuit : thicker and larger. The bacon and cheese were thicker and taste fresher. But too dry for my taste even with the jelly. The service was fast and the inside was closed for seating, drive through only. Hot diggity dang! Biscuitville is open in Fayetteville. I had to stop this morning on the day of their grand opening on Grove Street in Fayetteville. I was about 9-cars deep when I pulled in to the drive up line. Wow! They were really quick working the orders in front of me and with my order. I had the sausage and egg biscuit, home fried potatoes and a soft drink. The food was served hot and fresh. If they were having first day glitches I didn't notice any. Biscuitville is a long over due option for Fayetteville. They will do really well here if they keep the quality of the food and service consistent with my experience today. It's Saturday morning, we have nowhere to be so this really isn't that big of a deal. What was a big deal, however, was receiving the transparent watery excuse for gravy that came with the biscuits. One thing I notice in Carolina is the new line of brunch fast food restaurants. While I was in Fayetteville, NC I stopped here for a quick breakfast sandwich which was excellent. A nice big buttermilk biscuit with bacon, egg and cheese. Biscuit was way better than your traditional McDonalds breakfast biscuit. I am a southern woman who was raised on and taught to make from-scratch biscuits. Biscuitville (lmao) does not make southern biscuits. The quality of the biscuits from this location had that heavy "floury" taste with zero flavors (buttermilk, salt, or sugar). The waffles had the same bland, floury taste. The biscuits are also not baked to a brown hue, making the raw flour taste/look more pronounced. Basically, the only thing on their menu with flavor was the honey spread. If this is the quality of their "southern" food, then Vicky's Kitchen, Bojangles, and Kinlaws' Grill have nothing to worry about. Their price, quantity (amount of bacon given was disgraceful), and the quality of food are simply not justified. FYI: Aint no way in hElvis real southerners are claiming this food as flavorful and/or authentic. You want real southern biscuits try the aforementioned places. read more

But it's fresh fast food with quality ingredients and when they are on, it's some of the best breakfast food around. I have been to this place 3 times and I am done. HARDEE'S breakfast is way better even bojangles is better breakfast. Biscuits taste like flour no favors, eggs rubber. Gravy just nasty, Grits with cheese the cheese is fake you chew and it's like gum. The steak was not good. I did like potatoes and that you can see them make flour ( biscuit). The food here is delicious but as a whole this location has a few inconsistencies with service. The first time I received my meal my sausage was burnt, dry, and unpleasant, whilst my orange juice was watered down. The past few times I've went they've forgotten silverware,things that I've asked for at the window(ex. Maple butter, maple syrup,napkins) the grits are often floating in their own butter and the bacon is sometimes burnt to the point it hurts to chew. This morning a young lady and her baby and myself were left at the Fayetteville Amtrak station without a ride to our destinations Neither one of us could obtain a ride at three o'clock this morning. I looked on the Yelp app to see if there was a twenty four hour diner that we could walk to this morning. To no avail, the closest food establishment was .08 miles away. The young lady did not have a stroller so she carried the bay in a car seat cradle. We eventually walk to this Biscuitville on Grove Street and the sign reads, "dining hall closed". Now what do we do? I kindly knock on the door to ask the manager if the young lady and her baby could sit inside until the ride share arrived (which was going to be an additional fifteen minutes). The manager slightly cracked open the door and said "we don't let nobody ins". I kindly asked if just the baby in her car seat could come in out of the night air, and we were confronted with the same Ebonic response (Weez don'ts allow anybody's in). Closed the door firmly and quickly locks the door. Please share this post and boycott this franchise. If this is there business model, then they suck. P.S. We were donning our PPE, for those who may want to try and defend this establishment. I will never solicit there business. read more

This location just opened in Fayetteville, NC. I went to try it and I ordered an Ultimate Bacon Biscuit combo. I got a water (they said the drink was free), a McDonalds hash brown patty, and a less than ultimate bacon biscuit. I would have included the picture, but could not it looked nothing like what is advertised and I'm guessing that it is no more "ultimate" than the regular one, unless they only put 1 slice (cut in half) of bacon on the regular one. So far I like this place a lot. They have turkey sausage, which I usually get on English muffin with egg--really good and not that bad calorie-wise. Their biscuits are delicious & not too greasy like some places. Grits are cooked the way they should be, with butter and salt! Sweet tea is not so sweet that I go into diabetic coma after one sip. Yes they are very busy doing a great job to be helpful. The spicy chicken and honey biscuit is great, the hash brown , and the peach muffin were also great. I was so excited to try this place since I'm not really a fan of biscuits and was anxious to try a chicken waffle sandwich. I got the sandwich with an order of fries and a side of gravy to dip the fries in. The waffle was soooo dry and flavorless, and also burnt; the fries were the thick steak fries and they did not have one grain of salt or any other kind of seasoning on them; the gravy (which I ended up giving to my coworker who stopped to get the breakfast for us because they didn't include her gravy in her GRAVY BISCUIT order) and the chicken in the sandwich were just eh. I ended up just throwing it all (except the gravy that went to my coworker) in the trash after a few bites. I will stick with Vickie's across the street from them and Buddy's on Gillespie St for breakfast when I'm on that side of town from now on. read more
