Wings are top tier! Order some to go the other day, and I was just blown away. I definitely suggest the hot wings!

Went into the grill for lunch after golf yesterday. After 10+ minutes the server finally acknowledged us and came over. She tried to take our order on her tiny notepad but said "Oh gosh, I forgot to bring a pencil". When I got my Arnold Palmer it was basically water with a touch of iced tea. I asked for the lemonade and she said she would have to go and find it. After I was half way though my lunch, I flagged her down (had to yell across the room) and asked about my drink. She said "Oh we couldn't find any lemonade. I asked if I could please just have something to drink with my meal, water, iced tea, just something. She finally came back with a glass of actual iced tea. The food was very good, but the service was terrible!!! read more

My friends and I were long time fans of the Weekender Special of a Bloody Mary & Breakfast Burrito for $17. We would show up on Sunday mornings at 0930hrs. When Bison stopped offering Sausage Burritos with Hashbrowns we moved over to the Torreon Grille. Recently on May 10th I returned to Bison at 0930. I was pleased to hear that once again Sausage Burritos were available, but not with Hashbrowns. When it was time to leave, I handed the Hostess/Mixologist/Server my Credit Card and was surprised that the price was $21.08 without tax. I reminded the lady that the correct price for the Weekender Special was $17 plus tax & tip. She said that she was not aware of anything called the Weekender Special. Perhaps Bison needs to remove "Weekender Special" from their online menu. read more

I must be truthful, our first experience was not good. We ordered the Patty melt , pretzel and wings. The burger was ordered medium and came very well done and dry. The wing were big but lacked any flavor as was the Patty melt. Thank goodness I wanted to try the pretzel,as I would not have had any dinner. The pretzel was delicious. We do not complain in order to get something for nothing,but thought you might want to know how our first experience was with your establishment. Date of order was yesterday June 20th approximately 3 330 pm. My husband also commented that although your bathroom was beautiful,he said it was very dirty. Four couples went to Bison Ranch Bar and Grill about 5pm yesterday afternoon. We were so pleased with the whole dining experience but, in particular, our server, Mary. Talk about someone being exceptional...that would be Mary. She was so efficient and just so delightful! She made every encounter wonderful. We were lucky also to meet, Rose, the manager. All of us enjoyed our dining selections as well and will be back again to do enjoy being together at Bison Bar and Grill. So very smart, management wise, to have Mary taking care of your dining clients. read more

The entryway is filthy. Not a good first impression. It's basic bar food: burgers, greasy sandwiches, deep fried whatevers, and Fridays "clam chowder," which was yesterday's cream of potato soup with one additional clam thrown in. Our waitress Anastasia was upbeat and cheerful on her second day at the restaurant. I wonder how the week will affect her attitude. Listening to the complaints from other customers, I realized that not just my meal was sub-par. I heartily recommend that you avoid eating here. read more

Mother's Day May 11th 2025. Specials for my wife were between two salads. She loved her strawberry and chicken salad which came with a complimentary mimosa. Father's could have one of those salads or a steak dinner. Steak was supposed to be six ounces with a side salad and baked potato. Steak wasn't much bigger than a cell phone in width, length or thickness. It had a fair amount of fat but was a decent tasting steak. The potato and salad was, well, a potato and salad. But to charge $ 27.00 for a steak hardly any bigger or thicker than a regular cell phone. Price wasn't advertised on the Mother's Day flyer. Wouldn't have ordered it had I known. Didn't make a scene about the rip-off because my wife loved her salad special and it was HER day. Not likely to dine there again. read more

Nice ambiance and the food pricing was good. Ruben was excellent, side salad nice size and nice assortment of additions. Bison burger was good but meat was over cooked. French fries and onion rings weren't hot so hopefully they can do better. Also a little more French fries and more onion rings would be nice. Only got 4 onion rings. Beer on tap was COLD! Ice tea was good. Service was excellent! Patio has a nice view. Will try again and hope the couple of disappointments will be fixed as they are still new. Great location. read more

Very welcoming staff and great to watch some Sunday football. The manager was very welcoming and actually sat and spoke with us for a little. Even though it was a rainy and slow day the staff was attentive and helpful. Not to mention the view from the bar area is beautiful. Rick E Stopped in for dinner this evening thinking it would quick and simple due to being a grill with a limited menu, it took over an hour to get our food that came out moderately warm. Then it took another hour to get salad dressing, salt & pepper, ketchup, sugar, Ice tee & water refill and then had to wait for the ice on the hot tea. Soooo... Up in Show Low for our yearly Fool Hollow trip and wanted our delicious meal at the Bison Bar and Grill...we've been going for a few years now and have never been disappointed, that is until this last visit. We sat outside, which was a bit chilly...no heaters, but that was our choice. While our waitress was extremely nice and trying her best, the meal was a disaster. No rubens, no chicken tenders, no carbonation for sodas, the iced tea was old, adult beverages were not made correctly, the fries were doused in salt, the chicken fried steaks were burnt and the veggies cold. The kicker was the kids' Mac and cheese dinner. For $7, you, too, can get a small bowl of Kraft macaroni and cheese, yes, Kraft makes their Mac and cheese. And the fruit cup was literally that, a fruit cup, one you'd purchase in the store for your child's lunch...I mean, come on... On the positive side, the bison burger was good, and the bacon wrapped fried avocado slices were delish. read more

I'll give it 2 starts because the food wasn't bad. Service left a lot to be desired. It was seat yourself....should have been our first clue. We sat outside. Only 2 other tables occupied outside. Twenty minutes later my husband went in search of some to serve us. We finally ordered. Forty five minutes later our waitress came out to say they were out of roast beef. We were afraid to order anything hot because we had already been there close to 1-1/2 hours. Food arrived shortly thereafter and it was okay. Had the restaurant been packed I'd u detest and taking so long but that was not the case. Would love to see another restaurant make it but they have a long way to go. read more

I ordered the "cilantro and lime wings" or at least that's what I thought I ordered... wings were just Buffalo tasted fine but we're over cooked and I got fries with it they were drenched in salt there was probably more salt then fries and had to ask for a new batch...took at least 20 minutes to get food and didn't even get menus when we got seated. The place was in good condition with a gift shop.. if your visiting show low I would recommend trying other places before this one. We live in Torreón, and our Golf Club bailed on us, and cut off all regular food service for members other than a Christmas Party on December 22nd until sometime in March 2024. We never went to any of the other close by options to eat. Our club forced us to look elsewhere. We heard that the Bison Bar + Grill was working hard to provide food service all of the way through winter for their members and other Show Low people. We used to love burger night, on Thursday's at Torreón , so we decided that if we couldn't get our Thursday burger at our home restaurant that we try the very close neighbor club. My wife ordered the Reuben sandwich and I ordered the Bison Ridge burger. My burger was better than any burger that I ever had in Torreón and my wife loved her Reuben sandwich, and they were both awesome !!! I urge you to go eat at Bison Bar + Grill. Our server "Jordyn" was amazing, the food was amazing, and we had a chance to meet "Rose" the manager who shows a true passion for providing customers a great experience. We have eaten here a number of times in the past 2-3 years and found that this year summer 2023 the food was sub-par. Didn't want to punish the server for the "barely edible" food so we tipped her as usual. Had a simple lunch selection and both of them were NOT good. We will never return. read more

Played golf with some friends from the valley! The course is in excellent shape, thanks to Bob and his staff! We took our friends into the restaurant for some beverages and appetizers. We entered the bar area, six patrons at the bar. Every high top table, except one had dirty dishes stacked on them. We chose the clean high top and waited for the female bartender to acknowledge our presence. We waited, and waited, and waited, finally she went in the kitchen and got a male (very nice gentleman)to take our order. We ordered cocktails and said we wanted to see the menu as well. He brought our beverages and menu. We waited, waited, motioned to the bartender who ignored us. Waiter was stocking and finally came back. We ordered apps, and another beverage. When we opened our silverware service ALL of our settings were filthy. We requested clean silverware which was brought with our apps. Appetizers were very good. We finished our drinks and apps and requested our bill. Server brought the bill, went back to stocking. We tried to get the bartender to help, she ignored us! She was so obviously NOT going to help us that the guys at the bar said,"we'll take it". We waved the black folder up in the air, still she refused to respond. Finally the waiter/stocker came back, we tipped him well as we knew he was trying. Very inefficient service and very embarrassing to take guests there. Someone needs to pay more attention to cleanliness and customer service! read more
