This place is often filled with people, because the food is that good, and the plates are rather large. Unless you're starving I'd advise sharing a plate if you're with someone. I had the Nutella French Toast, and it was large and tasty. I couldn't have finished it on my own, but luckily I didn't go alone lol.
Stopped in the get a bite to eat & was pleasantly surprised at how quickly we were seated due to a Graduation crowd in the area. Soon after being seated, our Server came to the table to take care of Us. He was very pleasant & we connected over my shades (he was happy that I shared the info with him). We ordered the Chicken & Waffles which came out promptly. The food was well done & their Hot Honey condiment needs to be sold in stores. If you're in Downtown Miami, pull up to Bistro Café. #MallyMalApproved
When I tell you this place has the BEST waffles I've ever had in my life! There's such a big menu they literally have everything, from sandwiches, to breakfast, brunch, avocado toast, burgers, etc. The shrimp and chicken wrap was amazing very tasteful with a bunch of different flavors and the sauce was so good!! The drinks are made so fancy too with so much extra stuff on top. I would definitely come back again and this is a must visit place to come to!
Stopped by Bistro Café for brunch and had a great experience. I ordered the pastrami pressed sandwich with breakfast potatoes, and it was excellent. The pastrami was flavorful, the bread was perfectly toasted, and the sandwich was stacked with ingredients. The breakfast potatoes were crispy, well-seasoned, and a great side. I also tried the waffles with Nutella, fresh fruit, and whipped cream, and they were delicious. The waffles were light and fluffy, and the fresh fruit balanced everything out really well. The coffee presentation was unique, served with a chocolate cookie crumble rim that added a nice touch. I also really liked the ambiance of the place it had a relaxed, welcoming vibe that makes it a great spot to sit down and enjoy a good brunch. Overall, great food, generous portions, and a really enjoyable atmosphere. I'll definitely be back. And the service was amazing also!!
I loveeeee this cafe. Bistro Cafe is one of those spots where the menu is just as extravagant as the plates themselves. The portions are HUGE and the menu can honestly feel a little overwhelming at first. The waiters will even recommend checking out their Instagram to see pictures before ordering, which actually helps a lot. I've been here numerous times and have tried so many things off the menu. It does get busy, especially on weekends, and sometimes there's a long wait outside. Just be prepared for that because it's popular for a reason. Service is always good and they really try their best to help first timers navigate the menu and recommend dishes. They're patient and used to people asking a lot of questions. The papa griegas with skirt steak is by far my favorite dish. It's honestly big enough to share with two people. I tried it with chicken this time and it just didn't hit the same. The skirt steak version is undefeated. The pastrami sandwich was also really good and super satisfying. Ambiance wise, it's lively and bright with lots of seating inside and some outdoor seating as well. It feels energetic and fun, perfect for brunch with friends. I would 100 percent recommend coming. Just plan ahead and expect a wait if you're going during peak weekend hours.
Finally got the chance to try Bistro Café after eyeing it for a while. The restaurant is spacious with plenty of seating--we were able to get a table for six with only a 25-minute wait. The food is fresh and comes out quickly. The menu is very large, so I recommend looking it up beforehand, as it can be a bit overwhelming. My favorite dish was the crème brûlée French toast; it was perfectly balanced and not overly sweet. My fiancé and I shared the French toast along with an omelet, which worked out great since the portion sizes are generous and easily shareable. The steak omelet was especially satisfying--they definitely did not skimp on the steak. I recommend ordering one savory dish and one sweet dish. As for the drinks, we all ordered coffee. The iced latte was good, though it came unsweetened--I'm not sure if they offer syrup sweeteners, so I'd recommend asking if you prefer it sweetened. That said, the coffee was nice and strong with no complaints. Overall decently priced for the amount of food you receive, I would come here again.
What a nice place for my recovery brunch! This past Sunday, after running the "Give Miami 5K" in nearby Bayfront Park, myself and friends from my gym headed up here for brunch. I've been to the Gables location before and love their tasty and well presented brunch delicacies. Ours was a group of 10 and after a reasonable wait, we were able to sit into adjacent tables. Fashionwise, we were not necessarily in our Sunday best but rather with our racing T-shirts and number bibs. We still had great timely service. I appreciate the fact that our servers weren't trying to rush us out. My "hydration" started in the form of a well blended espresso martini, even with coffee beans. I also tried the spicy margarita with the boozy paleta a friend ordered. Since I was starving from the run itself, as well as not having eaten since the early afternoon before, "comí con los ojos" and ordered both their Chicken Trifongo as well as a Nutella French toast. The trifongo was really yummy! Picture of bed of fried green plantain "tostones" sitting on a sweet waffle, topped with a sunny side up egg and then surrounded by pieces of grilled chicken and garnished with red onion. It was well flavored, and I had enough to take his leftovers for lunch at work. My two very large pieces of French toast, generously spread with Nutella and various berries was a sweet ending. I had enough to share bikes with my team as well as take home.
This trendy restaurant in Miami is a popular spot known for its breakfast and brunch menu. The menu is bilingual English and Spanish. It was packed and crowded when we walked in on a Sunday during lunch. They took our name and we waited outside in line for about 25 minutes before being seated. The ambiance is very vibrant with a cool decor. They have a pretty extensive menu. I had the Smoked Salmon Croissant with goat cheese $18. It was good. My friend had eggs that were too runny. The server was very friendly and efficient.
Of course there is always a line and a wait for this place. And the food took quite a while to come out after we ordered. There are so many menu options it's kind of overwhelming. But lots to choose from and try! We got the lobster eggs Benedict which was good. Also the crème brûlée French toast which was not too sweet and had a nice crust. It's tourist prices because it's a tourist spot. Had to sit outside because inside was full. They had cool music playing outside though. It's a cool spot to take visitors from out of town but def not my go to breakfast spot.
Nice decor and modern ambience in downtown perfect after a matinee performance at the Arsht. Loaded avocado was massive! Two could eat from this (or I ate the left overs twice over!) the guava sauce add just the right amount of sweetness to the chicken without being overboard and the pickled onions balanced it out Mango matcha was phenomenal: natural, no syrups and just the right amount of sweetness
I really loved having brunch a bistro cafe. The food looks exactly like it does on social media in person, and if you see something on their instagram you like, ask for it because it might not be on their menu but they'll serve you. great customer service and ambiance, we sat outside on a gorgeous morning and ordered the salmon eggs Benedict and steak egg Benedict. 10/10 and a huge portion! I would love to come back.
I would like to say for this establishment to be so busy they literally had the best customer service, moved with a sense of urgency and the food was delivered hot! The waitress was very knowledgeable and helpful with the extensive menu. It's in Spanish and English! It was very clean including the bathrooms. I would definitely go every time I'm in Miami! Highly recommend and you should definitely share the portions are huge!

Great spot for brunch, but let me warn you...there is a long line waiting around the corner to get in lol Loved the menu options, service, food and beverages were all great. The quality of the food and the portions were all right on with their price points. There is seating inside and outside available. Unfortunately, we were seated outside, and our table was right over a sewer opening, so it stunk extremely bad. Other than that, and lack of street parking available (I parked 3 blocks away lol) I would highly recommend this spot. Everything was delicious!!! I would recommend looking at their pics on Instagram because they have items on there that aren't on the menu. I love options!!! read more

Bistro Cafe is a very interesting place. It is positioned as a Puerto Rican place but there's a modern twist to it. Everything is instagrammable, from the interior to the foods and drinks. They have a menu but they also tell you you can order anything you see on their Instagram page. We got coquito pancakes which were surprisingly amazing (I'm always cautious about these picture-perfect places since the taste often comes in the second place). They were dense but fluffy enough. We also got the skirt steak omelette with guava sauce. I wasn't a fan of the pairing of meat with guava but my boyfriend liked it. It wasn't anything out of this world though. Their espresso and macchiato are below average, but their more extravagant coffee drinks look delicious and come with a side of diabetes. read more
Unique drinks , food, from coffee to mimosas, you name it ! Their food is not the best I've ever had but it doesn't have to be , I love them because of how different they are and how fun their presentation is ! Where else can you get a blue cappuccino and a mimosa with a popsicle inside ? With a Miami flair and a crowd, I mean a very big crowd , their staff manages to provide attentive service! They also have the longest brunch menu I have seen in Miami with options for everyone . I tried a stuffed avocado with carnitas and I enjoyed it. Their French toss is also a good choice I do warn that if you visit on a weekend you will wait an hour or more if you don't get lucky , I think it was worth it ! We walked in and almost walked out when we saw the prices. We just saw cafe and thought it was going to be a small coffee shop. Anyways, we decided to stay and splurge our coffee budget and get brunch. GIRRRRRLLLLL.... When I tell you everything was quality and every bite was incredible.....BRAVO! The cocktails dont even need to be mentioned because you will see them being served to the people around you and you will immediately need one! Portions were ODE! I always talk about this place!! This will always be my favorite brunch spot. Everyone needs to try this place at least once in their life! The food here is always so delicious and the drinks just keep getting more and more creative. I recommend going on the weekdays because you get to enjoy 2 for 1 mimosas. Came in for a Sunday brunch. I arrived about 10:30. I parked at a parking lot which I paid $30 for 4 hours. When arrive at the restaurant I found out that they provide parking for $5! Anywho... at that time I was told the wait time for 2 people was about 25 min, however I don't think I waited that long to be called. The service was fantastic the entire time I was there and very bright and inviting with great decorations. First we started with the mojito mimosa that comes with a fruit pop and it was strong and delicious. $22 each For brunch we ordered MOULIN ROUGE omelette with a French toast and the FREDDIE PEREZ OMELETTE with a waffle $24+8 each. They were both super amazing and extremely huge! To ended we ordered a cafe con leche double shot and it was also perfect. The food took about an hour to arrive which it was expected, but it allowed us to enjoy our drink. read more

I had been wanting to come here ever since I moved to Miami, summer 2020. But the lines where always too long and they don't take reservations. I still kept trying because I wanted to see what all the fuss was about. I went with friends on a Sunday, I want to say at around 9:30am and we didn't have to wait in line but as soon as it hit 10am, the line was already long so I would recommend coming at 9am for sure. We were seated and everyone was very nice, specially our server Luis. We had 3 plates while here and to be honest, the best one was the chorizo sandwich (it has another name, I forget). It had a great amount of chorizo, the bread was crunchy and honestly, is good for two. I really wanted to go because of the gitano pancakes, I was a bit disappointed. The pancakes could be a bit thinner in my opinion and the sauce/guava/cookie crumble ratio to the 1) amount of pancakes and 2) thickness of the pancakes was extremely bad. We ate all of the sauce and we had so much pancake left, not what I was expecting. We also had prosciutto croissant, good portion of ham but you couldn't taste the manchego cheese. The mimosa was really good too, two down at 9am and you should be good haha. Overall, I would definitely come back again to try more things. read more

They have so many yummy options! Definitely come ready with a big appetite! The portions are big so sharing is encouraged, unless you're really hungry. For our savory dish, we had the lomo saltado with potatoes and avocado. It was delicious and gluten free friendly . For our sweet tooth's, we devoured the crème brûlée French toast! Loved the cream and raspberry compote! The overall aesthetic is beautiful, but I really appreciated the large windows to let in the natural sunlight. WOW! The portions are HUGEEE and the food is very tasty!! Unfortunately we didn't get any fun drinks but we saw so many of them from alcoholic to non alcoholic to coffees. Service was spot on although they were super busy. There was a LONG line so I suggest coming early or making a reservation. We were brave enough to sit outside so there was no wait and a little shade. Our waitress came to us right when we sat down and kept checking in on us. She told us to look on Instagram and Google for food recommendations since it was our first time. She was super patient because it took us a while to decide because they had so many good looking options! Man I really enjoyed this location! Went on Saturday around 11am and there were a few people outside waiting but the wait wasn't very long maybe 20 min. The establishment is pretty big and has a good amount of seating available. Server was very professional quick to take our order and get us ready. Food was amazing! Portions are huge way bigger than you think or expect from their instagram photos. You may also run into some celebs while eating! We did and ate next to Maluma. This place was AMAZING ! I came to Miami to visit a friend and we wanted to get something to eat. I jumped on Tik Tok and this place popped up first so we went. My goodness the food was sooooooo good! A hit on the first try. The service was great, everyone was nice, prompt and quick. There was no wait (Monday) and we had the option to sit inside or outside. The inside decor was really cute and comfortable, they made GREAT drinks and there were so many fun options to pick from. My meal and my friends meal came out to $120 but baby, ill pay it every time I visit. 10/10 ! read more

Saw this place on Instagram and it looked soooo good but unfortunately it was not worth the hype. It would've been a 2 star for the food but the service was good. We ordered the aguacate relleno with lomo salteado it was sooooo salty we couldn't even finish it, we also ordered the nutella waffles they were super hard and chewy my plastic knife broke trying to cut it. Really fun place to check out while you're in Miami if you don't mind the long wait time. I was lucky enough to get a seat within 8 minutes of arriving for a group of 4. The place has a great ambience, good music, and lively staff members. Once we were seated, we placed our drink orders while we continued to look over the menu. I wasn't sure of some of the menu items and asked the waiter, but instead of explaining to me the one particular item he suggested I look at the instagram page for the "visual menu". I ended up ordering the waffles covered in Nutella and topped with mixed fruit pieces along with 2 eggs over easy and bacon. My friend ordered Papa Griegas de Churrasco (Greek Fries with Skirt Steak) with 2 sunny side eggs, at first I though the steak appeared to be on the dry side because of the color, but once I tried it - it was juicy, tender, and packed full of flavor, so I did the only logical thing....ordered another to share with the group. For the drinks we got Spicy Mango Margaritas, Strawberry Mojitos, Dragonfruit ice-tea, and more or less a bucket of coffee. The drinks were visually stunning and all the flavors worked really well. The Spicy Mango wasn't too sweet nor to spicy, it was balanced with a nice kick. Same for the Dragonfruit ice-tea, it wasn't overly sweet and had a nice touch of acid to bring additional brightness which was a great way to contrast the sweetness of the drink. Although the food was visually stunning and each bite kept me coming back for more, and the server was friendly...... I'll have to give this place a 4 out 5 because once we were ready to place our order, the server sorta disappeared. We waited about 10 minutes before I got up and told someone at the front that we wanted to order. After that, we waited an additional 35 minutes to receive our food, which is fine. I get that it's busy but how did another group receive their food before us, when they ordered 5 min AFTER us? The food was worth the wait and I'll prob come back during off peak hours. The price seems to in line with similar brunch spots around. Some may find it a bit high but it is Miami after all. For the amount of guest this place receives I was genuinely impressed with the cleanliness of the bathrooms. The wall art was pretty dope too. read more
We stopped with my girlfriends last month for brunch, it was a weekday so to our luck, the waiting list took only 15 minutes. We sat and the server brought us the menu right away. The menu is big, plus she also mentioned there are options on Instagram that are not even on the menu if we craved something from there. We started to realize the plates were huge! So one of my friends and I decided to share the Avocado Toast with egg whites and Pesto sauce and the Classic Pancakes. Avocado Toast was really good, two big pieces! And the pancakes were delicious too!! So big and fluffy. My other friend ordered the Classic Breakfast which included scrambled eggs with cheese on top, bacon, and bread and she loved it! I also ordered the Hot Chocolate but it wasn't your regular, simple hot chocolate, it was an over-the-top hot chocolate with whipped cream on top and a rim of Oreos, extremely sweet. It was ok but way, way too sweet. While we were eating a photographer from the restaurant stopped by and took us a picture. We thought that was nice and probably will use the picture for social media; however, a few minutes later, the girl stopped by again with the picture already printed and framed and that was kind off and weird. I think prior to taking the picture they should explain what is this for instead of wasting paper by printing a picture that we declined. Each picture was $20. Where do I start? Okay let me make it easy for you, Bistro Cafe is a 10/10 I HIGHLY recommend. Yes I will go back. Matter of fact I can't wait to go back. There was a long line but the wait wasn't too long. The serve was great. Our waitress was very knowledgeable of the menu and she really helped me narrow down my decision. They suggest taking a look on their Instagram if you're a visual person. I most say that did help! I had a mojito mimosa (yes that was a thing). Now for food I went with the avocado toast with salmon. My friend had French toast and a breakfast sandwich. Overall we allll loves it! read more
This place seems like it's packed no matter what time you go. That's for good reason though, the food here is great. I love that they have gimmicky coffees that actually taste good. I got the mocha brillo which had edible glitter in it, and the smores mocha which was such a treat. This is likely the best French toast I will probably ever have. The ham and cheese croissant seems so simple but somehow here it's amazing. The only negative was the service which was a little slow but like I said they're always slammed. Be prepared to walk out paying about 50-60$ + tip. read more
Excellent service, casual ambiance, and phenomenal drinks. The mimosas were 2 for 1 price so we took advantage of that. Food was excellent. I ordered the waffle Frida and it just had so many flavors to it. First you have the sweet syrup flavor, then the salty flavor from the prosciutto sandwiched in the center, there was a slight goat cheese flavor along with melted cheese, then there was the sunny side up eggs on top. Wonderful brunch/breakfast spot! It was my first time and I was not disappointed! Very large portions and decent drinks. I'm looking forward to returning with my parents for a brunch/breakfast date. It's amazing to find a coffee shop were ALL the food and drinks are perfect. We enjoyed our experience and the unique atmosphere as well as their friendly service. We ordered the Smoked Salmon Avocado Toast, Bistro Breakfast and an order of pancakes and potatoes. Generous portions were served and all the ingredients were fresh and tasted delicious. Our server was very attentive and he continued to check on us during our entire visit. All safety precautions were in place including them sanitizing after every customer. An electronic menu was found on the table's corner. This is a wonderful place with plenty of choices and a great variety of dishes. It's a must visit in midtown miami!! read more

Anyone visiting Miami needs to try this place. I wish I could remember our waitresses name because she was amazing. While we were looking at the menu she recommended we look at their Instagram page and I'm so grateful that she did. The instagram page is called @ bistrocaferest. We ordered the lamb croissant and it was phenomenal. You can see the kitchen staff working as a unit; no chaos no confusion. I'm going to address the very odd/bad reviews this place has: A woman on here gave this place a bad review because it was a 30 min wait.. well I'm here to tell you it is extremely worth it. The line was out the door, outside and we were still seated within 20 mins. Another bad review of this place said the portions are "too large" so if you're afraid to take home leftovers i guess don't eat at this fantastic place. There are plenty of places to sit inside and outside. There was a nice breeze coming in as the servers were taking food to the outdoor guests. read more

I've been to the bistro a few times and it never disappoints! I love that this is a Puerto Rican fusion restaurant. It has a cool ambiance with indoor and outdoor covered seating. If you decide to dine indoors bring a jacket/sweater as it can get a bit chilly. The best way to appreciate all they offer is to check out their Instagram profile for tons of "off menu" items. Some items can get pricey...adding queso fundido to a meal is $7 (so worth it if you LOVE cheese). Any fancy drink (coffee or cocktail) will be $12+ and are well worth trying out at least once. The staff have always been great! I've never felt rushed even when it's close to closing time. They also include 18% gratuity in the bill so be careful. This could be easily missed. When you check out the first option is to tip starting at 15% which is in addition to the 18%. The 18% is split among the staff. From what I understand any additional tip you provide goes directly to your server. read more
