We went closer to lunchtime on a weekday and there was no wait, but I could see there definitely being a wait at breakfast time on the weekend, as the interior is small and has only about six tables. But it would be well worth the wait. We will definitely be back.

The scrambled eggs were good. The biscuits and gravy had far too much salt, and the waffle was quite dense. The flavor of the waffle was OK, and the bacon was good. There's also plenty of parking available. Finally, the prices are fair. And the restaurant is bright and clean, including the restroom.

I was also really taken aback when I overheard the male server say that "it wasn't his job to make people happy\." That is an unbelievable attitude to hear from someone working in hospitality\. It honestly seems silly to put young people who are still displaying juvenile behavior in charge of running things\. Age itself isn't the problem--maturity and professionalism are\. If someone is given a management position, they should be setting the tone for the staff, not joining in with the fooling around\. For a restaurant with such wonderful food and such a cozy atmosphere, this was disappointing\. The food absolutely deserves praise, but the restaurant would benefit tremendously from mature, professional management that keeps the staff focused and understands that the guest experience matters\.

Well, I made the mistake of returning. My breakfast was dry and unappetizing. I had to send it back, which our bitchy server Mariah made sure to let us know was ridiculous with a combination of dirty looks, eye rolls, and neglect. I wouldn't tip this ugly little clown of a server if my life depended on it. I love this place. It's a must visit every time I'm in Prescott. I love the small cafe meets fancy restaurant vibe they have. I got the steak sandwich with fries. It was good and is certainly order it again but I'll probably end up trying something new on the menus each time I come. The only bad thing about this place is they don't have brewed ice tea. I look at these things & wonder where else have they cut corners to such an extreme. One thing that is beyond their control is the sales tax you pay in Chino Valley. It adds a 4% on top of state & county tax. You end up paying that tax in this town even if you just buy food at a market, which I personally view as just wrong. I visit Lake Havasu once in a while where they add just 1% but the roads aren't full of pot holes & have all the services one would need.
