I thought the food here was tasty and quite affordable. Knocking off a couple stars for service. Came with my friend who does not eat pork, which we asked upfront and requested clarification on the items we ordered. We ordered egg drop soup to start and the Singaporean Mee fun noodles which he mentioned came with shrimp and chicken. We also ordered a custom dry pot with beef and chicken with black mushrooms, bean sprouts, tofu skins, and napa cabbage, which also came out with a side of rice. The Singaporean mee fun came out with pork, which they took back and had remade but I'm surprised the emphasis on no pork didn't sink in. We had to ask for it to be prepared again. It was otherwise not too oily, had a good amount of shrimp, chicken, and egg. It could have been spicier but they did bring out a side of chili oil to customize. The dry pot came out correctly and was tasty. The Sichuan peppercorns were quite heavy and numbing but spice was good and well seasoned overall. The side of rice did have hair. We just notified the staff and his response was to ask what color the hair was and say no one working had black hair and all their hair was white... Super odd way to evade responsibility when we all wait staff had black hair. Won't be coming back, because of the behavior but the food was otherwise decent. read more

The food here is A1. Delicious and decently priced. We ordered soup dumplings, friend wontons, pork buns, and general tso's chicken for under $50 bucks. It was comforting and so good!!! The staff are very friendly and let you know their food and sauces are homemade. The interior is extremely basic, but honestly not even a bother. read more

I ordered here the other night. I was really excited to try as I seen it have good reviews. I ordered this for delivery, everything was made quickly and was still hot! I had ordered the signature soup dumplings, and vegetable fried rice. The soup dumplings were so good, the sauce that comes with it was great. I really enjoyed them. I feel like I would enjoy them at this location rather than at home. The vegetable fried rice, was nothing crazy, it was okay, but I don't think I would order it again. It just was not my favorite. Ordered Generals Tao chicken with a substitute of pork fried rice instead of the traditional white rice at an additional cost. First of all, I've never had Generals Tao chicken with peppers and onions in a sweet and sour sauce. Moreover, my order was not properly fulfilled. Instead of receiving the pork fried rice (which was an upcharge), I received plain white rice. When I called to question this error, the worker stated that I was in fact correct and that he would make good on the next order. As if there is going to be a next order. Kind of rude to just dismiss his error and not try to rectify the situation. Consider this ONE & DONE. read more

Got a simple takeout order of the signature soup dumplings and chicken with snow peas. Came in a cute reusable tote, and the food was packaged in equally cute & sturdy containers, not your typical carton. The highlight for me was how fresh & delicious & well-balanced everything tasted. The place had a nice little sit down area, and a comfortable waiting area for pick-up orders; a nostalgic blend of old-school chinese restaurant with a modern take on decor and design. The staff was courteous and nice. The menu was solid, with a combination of known American Chinese cuisine as well as dishes more esoteric. We got an assortment of baos as well as the hotpot, which was excellent. My only criticism was that I wish there was more of a selection of baos, dim sum, and other menu items not customary to American Chinese cuisine. I look forward to them potentially expanding their menu in the future. Would absolutely come back here again, regardless! read more

One of the best additions to Huntington since my family relocated here in the early 80's lol. Food is fresh, delicious and high quality and while I haven't tried everything yet, so far the authentic cuisine and Americanized items are equally as good and that is usually rare in my experience as it's either one or the other. The soup dumplings however deserve their own paragraph and that is not an exaggeration as they are next level delicious. I am not an expert but I do fancy myself as somewhat of a connoisseur and I've eaten them from many notable places (DD, Red Tiger, Nan Xiang to name a mere few) and these are among some of the best, if not THE BEST I've ever had personally. When they first opened they were very tasty but over steamed and all the soup evaporated so I waited a bit before trying them again so they could work out the kinks and they were outstanding on multiple subsequent occasions with both chicken and pork being superb. I think the right way to eat soup dumplings is however you like them and I drink the soup out, add chili oil and eat them whole and somehow they still give a fabulous burst of delicious soup in the main bite. One other thing to note and I just may have gotten lucky in the times I've eaten them, but no funky meat slime that nearly every other soup dumpling I've had will leak out at some point (IYKYK). I would be floored if these came premade from a distributor and weren't homemade (and then I'd buy a case no cap lol). The chili oil is very good as well, flavorful and a great accompaniment, on par with or better than the other places named but not my personal #1. Support a local business, give them a try and help keep my local dumpling plug in the game, I don't think you will regret it one bit lol. read more

The menu is packed with so many amazing options, from the fresh and plump jumbo shrimp in the seafood section to the perfectly spicy Szechuan boiled fish in the authentic specialties. Delicious soup dumplings! We had a nice variety of items in addition to the soup dumplings. We tried the lo mein, fried rice, chicken, and broccoli and shrimp with chilies. All very good. Shrimp with chilies were in the shell which makes it a little laborious to eat, but they were tasty. When I placed the online order for the shrimp with chilies it's asked what type of vegetable I want with it. I selected string beans. They gave me no string beans and a very small amount of peppers and onions. Overall, we were happy with our meal and we plan on ordering from them again. read more

I went there today for lunch with my wife. We were absolutely shocked. !!!The dim sum was outstanding. The dry pot was hot and spicy and absolutely authentic and delicious and then we ordered a shrimp with garlic sauce to take home. It was outstanding. I highly recommend. We had the soup dumplings.
