We went for a late lunch and were pleasantly surprised by how attentive the service was. The setting alone is quiet, scenic, and relaxing, adding to the experience feeling special. We're particular about cocktails, and the specialty drinks leaned a bit sweet and light for our taste, but switching to a Grey Goose martini solved that quickly. The standout of the meal was the special appetizer, the Lobster Escargot. Between the bread service and the rich, bisque-like sauce layered over the classic preparation, I could have happily ended the meal right there. We left no trace behind. I followed with the crab cake and wedge salad. The crab cake was generously sized, very fresh, and exactly what I hoped for. My husband ordered the branzino, which was absolute perfection, beautifully cooked and full of flavor. The sides, however, were less memorable; the smashed potatoes and green beans felt under-seasoned and a bit boring compared to the rest of the meal. Overall, it was a lovely anniversary lunch with memorable dishes and a beautiful view.

Blu Point is one of our favorite restaurants. It is satisfying in every aspect: service, scenery, and, of course, the food is exceptional.

I've been to Flaming Grill numerous times but never have reviewed so here it goes…read more The good. Most of the food is quite tasty. The hibachi is quite good and fresh albeit a little overcooked on the eggs and beef. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The value for what you pay is the reason you go as well as most of the food. There is quite a lot of lobster and crab, but no lobster tail. My favorite things are the hibachi grill, the coconut chicken, the boneless spareribs and soups to name a few. There truly is something for everyone. The not so good. The sushi is very hit or miss I've had it. It's pretty good and I've had it where I wouldn't need it. It's not that it's bad. It's just lacking flavor. Most of the little dessert cakes are dry and flavorless. It can't get crowded on the weekends, but I've never had to wait for a seat. Granted it's usually just my wife and I if you have a big party you might wait on the weekend. The bad and why I took a star away on the review. Twice now, I've been there and ordered from the hibachi grill. The cook after he's done preparing your food will point at his tip jar or pick it up and shake it at you. If you don't tip him, he says something nasty to you. I'm sorry that's unacceptable. Overall, it wouldn't stop me from ever going back. Keep in mind it's an all you can eat Asian buffet. If you realize that and you're spending $23 at the time of typing this, it's well worth it.

The food is well worth it!! Very clean and the staff is always making sure everything is spotless.read more

We were seated right by the window and it has a lovely view. Generally speaking, the ambience is really nice. All of the staff was very nice and attentive. We did have a newer server who seemed a little bit nervous and less familiar with the menu than you might want, but she was very nice and we have no complaints about the actual service. We split a half bottle of wine, which was a nice option since we didn't want a full bottle. We started with the French baguette, the brussels sprouts, and the whipped ricotta. The brussels sprouts were delicious. They were perfectly cooked and I couldn't stop going back to them. The whipped ricotta was also really interesting and the flavors were amazing. What was really disappointing was the baguette. When I think baguette, I think crusty, hot, out of the oven. The texture of the baguette was weird because it almost had more of a pretzel like exterior that was chewy and not crispy. For mains, we had the crispy chicken sandwich and the cassoulet. The sandwich was kind of a letdown. The flavors were all nice, but there was no textural difference. The bun was a little too big for the sandwich, the avocado, and the other toppings, just all kind of mushed into each other. It was perfectly enjoyable, but just nothing to write home about. The cassoulet was very good. There was a nice depth of flavor and smokiness to the meat. Overall, no complaints. It did seem as though our mains probably sat under a heat lamp. My guess is that because we were still working on the appetizers they did not want us to feel rushed, but with this kind of meal and the price point, they should do a better job pacing, or they should just bring the food out when it comes out. I would rather have the fresh hot food out of the kitchen, than have it sitting under a heat lamp. Overall, the meal was lovely. There were a lot of really high points. There were also some disappointing parts of the meal. Given the price point and the feel of the round house, the few missteps hit a little bit harder. But we would absolutely come back again. It was an overall very nice experience and we enjoyed our ourselves.
