Small location just north of the square. Very clean with about 10 tables inside. Two large TV's on the wall showing ballgames. Counter service with fountain drink station. Food was very good! We ordered the 3 tenders meal with crinkle cut fries. Medium heat level was just right if you like a little spice but not burning your mouth. We wanted to try the famous Nashville chicken before we head out and BJ Hot chicken was closest to us. Our order took less than 10 minutes and our order was hot, spicy and juicy. The spice was definitely not for the faint hearted and paired so so well with the coleslaw which had a coconut dressing which made it so creamy and delicious. We got in for Happy Hour which offered 2 leg quarters for $7.99 (usual 1 quarter for $7.99). The offer was a steal deal since we were so hungry and everything was wiped clean off our trays. Just passing through Lebanon and found this gem on yelp. I can honestly say this was the BEST chicken I've ever had. Don't usually eat fried chicken, but I am not sorry. I got medium spicy and it was just the right amount to tickle my tastebuds but not overwhelm them. I wish I had gotten more; I only got the leg and thigh, but I easily could've doubled that. The sides are even outstanding as well as the customer service. Definitely a place I recommend that you visit without a question of a doubt whether it be for lunch or dinner. And if you find yourself at somebody who needs to stay away from either fried foods or just in general like me don't care too much for heavy breading, I recommend trying the grilled chicken option with the heat. It is absolutely outstanding and is not just a unbreaded fried dried out chicken tender. When it comes to heat levels this place definitely doesn't play. But it seems like they have great options for both the touristy not used to heavy heat as well as heat levels that will absolutely have you begging the question " why did I do that" because of how extraordinarily hot it is. While a better lunch than most of the area fast food joints, the hot chicken tenders just weren't up to par with their bigger competitors in the hot chicken game. For starters, their sauce needs some work. The flavor just wasn't there. The potato salad was ok. The restaurant was relatively clean, and the service was ok. The joint had a weird smell, hit as soon as I walked in the door. I almost walked right back out, but I stuck it out to try the food. Maybe an isolated incident, maybe it's an old building. Lebanon had really been missing good hot chicken and BJs delivers so well. I had a six piece tender meal and split between medium hot and their hottest. I loved the hottest... though I don't recommend it unless you're a spice fiend like me and have a lot of napkins to deal with your runny nose.
