This location is by far the best and should be sought out. The last time I rented a beast of a machine but this location has sleeker half the size and weight machine. The people behind the counter where on it and really made a DIY feel welcome. The other customers that are Ph.D level pros where just as kind. They had enough staff to help everyone. The person that showed me how to use the machine was on it and I didn't feel Like I had a 50/50 chance on making it start. I did it right there they had an area where they show you if you need. I had planned for 2 days to do the project but with the new machine it only took me 4 hours or less. I didn't have to start and stop all the time and fill it was gas every 4mim. It was really efficient and with the weight cut I was able to get around easy. When I brought it back they helped me unload and paid for a 1/2 day. Invoice was what the invoice was. This place is 100% and if you are going to DIY it might be a good idea to add this company to your big box store list. To the staff there when I was there, well done indeed. Simple review of BJ's Rentals. We needed a self enclosed generator for our Chief's pinning ceremony at Ruocco Park, and they offered a great deal on a 2000W generator that was SUPER SIMPLE to use! Just to give some context, I run an annual outdoor festival, which typically gets a few hundred people. I've done three of these events but haven't needed a larger generator until this year. Staff: The management is helpful, but the guys on the floor and helping with the equipment were really what made this experience great. They knew what I needed, worked hard to get me all the pieces (although I came to them last minute), and seemed genuinely happy to help. Great team! Equipment: The generator I ordered was huge, and they were very upfront and honest about my ability to move it with my vehicle, and the type of support I needed. I've never seen a place as well run as this place. I needed to rent a generator as a backup power source for an office for an important webinar event. I called in to see what generators they had in stock and the guy on the phone was very helpful and quick. I arrived about 10 minutes later and someone greeted me as I pulled in and asked what I was renting and disappeared to go get it. The guy at the counter was on a call but got my last name and while helping a customer got me processed and told me to go talk to the guy who had met me when I drove up. That guy gave me the quick low down on how to operate the generator and even let me borrow the dolly he had it on when I realized I didn't have a good way to transport it. I looked at the clock on my truck and I was driving away 7 minutes after I arrived. I couldn't believe it - I've never had an experience like that. These guys are a well oiled machine! It was the same when I brought it back and it was a day late - the guy processing me adjusted the receipt and had me out the door in minutes. These guys rock. read more

These guys were helpful, and very fair. I had rented an electric chainsaw and used it for about 6 hours. It started having problems, so I went back and they exchanged it for a gas chainsaw. Only charged me for one rental which I thought was very fair. read more

Okay, I called BJ's rental to rent a light tower for my event. The staff was very helpful and explained in detailed what I needed. I arrived the next day to set up my account and pay for my light tower. The process was simple and quick. As I walked out, I realized I needed a couple of generators but I did not see any so was curious if I could add them to my order. As I walked in I asked the clerk who originally help me if they had generators. I did not realized he was on the phone because he was hidden behind a computer. Once I noticed he was on the phone I apologized and noticed another employee standing at a computer next to him. I asked, "Sir do you guys have generators here?" He rudely stated, "I'm on lunch and I can't answer any questions, they don't allow me to." And abruptly walked off. Wow... amazing I said. This was totally unprofessional and horrible. I was so surprised and I have never been treated like that in any business. As a business owner I was livid. Employees will ruin your name because of bad service. Hopefully they addressed it and he was reprimanded. I will see in three days when I pick up my equipment. Hopefully it's not lunch time. read more
