On my initial call with the service, he illustrated how my apartment complex could sue me for thousands of dollars if I did not sufficiently remedy my damage first. For this reason, I set up a time to have him come to replace my stained spot with carpet from my closet. As my provided photos demonstrate, the carpet job in my office area is good enough. However, the carpet he inserted into my closet is comical. There is a clear line where his much darker/rougher new carpet meets my original. Seeing my look of distress when he showed me his completed work, he proceeded to tell me how my apartment complex was going to replace all of the carpets in my unit anyway because there was slight discoloration from regular wear and tear, to begin with. After paying hundreds of dollars, I am left with a mismatched carpet and a bad taste in my mouth from the experience. I like to move quickly especially with getting these couches cleaned. I did a pre-clean myself and it was intense so John had his work cut out for him. The first pass through made more of the dirt come out...scary! But he was honest and said if it still was there after it dried, he'd come back and clean it. When we were told that we might have white mildew and/or black mold in our attic, we knew that some…read morerestoration companies will "find" mold or mildew even if it's not there. Our search for an honest company led us to West Coast, and we hoped the reviews were true. The good news is, West Coast is as honest as it gets. Askia came out and looked around the attic while I watched from the ladder. First, he showed me that the supposed mildew was some sort of harmless sandy clay-ish material. And the supposed black mold was just "lumber mold", an industry term for "stain fungi"--the common dark streaks in lumber that originate at the sawmill or in the forest, don't weaken the lumber, and are not indications of moisture. Who knew? Well, Askia knew. And he actually spent time convincing me that we didn't need their services. So do I recommend them to you? You betcha! An honest company is a joy to find.

We also swapped out our old water heater for a tankless so that we would have more space in the laundry room we created. ICR went the extra mile and did everything right from beginning to end to ensure longevity of parts. We are extremely happy with the results. The unit came out absolutely gorgeous.
