We contacted with another Hauling company on Monday to remove a mattress @ 9:30 AM the following Saturday. On Tuesday, the other Hauler texted us and asked if we could reschedule for Wednesday. We explained that we would be coming from out of town on Saturday & would not be available Wednesday. On Saturday @ 9:30 the other Hauler did not show up. After several calls to both their office & cellphone (no answer, left messages) and text messages (no response), we concluded that he had blown us off. We contacted Tony @ about 2 PM. Arranged for a same day pick-up. And he arrived at the promised time. We highly recommend Tony; he is a professional. read more

Amy came to my property quickly and completed the job. *BEWARE* I scheduled and agreed to a trash removal 4 days in advance even though they changed our initial agreed upon date and time. We agreed for a Saturday at 6am. I got up at 5:30am to ensure that they had access to the items to remove. No call or show at 6am, I sent them a message at 6:39am for an update but not response. I sent one more update around 7:12am and still no show, call, or response. I am now writing this review at 7:30am and still no show, call, or response. I had to get up early on a Saturday morning and they have only wasted my time and energy. Completely UNRELIABLE and INCONSIDERATE. If you want your family owned business to succeed, you have to deliver quality service in a timely manner...which was not the case. I'd highly suggest NOT hiring JunkGods. read more

I made an appointment about two weeks ago. I requested a date and was asked if I could do it the day prior. I agreed. My appointment was for 4:00 pm. The day before my appointment I was asked if they could come at 3:00 instead, I agreed (and made arrangements to leave work early). It is now 4:22 pm on day of appointment.... they did not show up nor did they contact me. They also do not answer their phone. So now I'm stuck. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. UPDATE: Amy finally answered and told me they had "truck issues". The fact that they never even attempted to reach out to me to explain any of this is unbelievable. We are working on our house and had a large couch and loveseat that we needed to get rid of. We thought about renting a truck and taking it to EDCO ourselves but decided to pay someone to do it if it was reasonable enough. (Please note this was a SAME day request and on a SUNDAY) I requested quotes from junk haulers via Yelp and JunkGods was by far the lowest quote. They were very professional and after getting my information I received a text verifying the date and time of pick-up. They arrived with their trailer, loaded it up, put a tarp over the back and was out of here within a few minutes. If i could give no stars i would. Set an appointment with them, they didnt show. Gave them another chance the next day. I walked the job with Tony, we agreed and shook hands on a price, and they flat out didnt finish the job! They under bid themselves and still asked to be paid for the full amount! Me being the honest person i am, i still paid them full price because i keep my word and when i make a deal i uphold my end. Hindsight i shouldnt have paid at all but im a up and up guy and understand being a small company(which i am). I would AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS! Unless you want to get ripped off. Doesn't even deserve a star. I called this business and was told they would be able to help me with my project. They requested information from me which I provided and said they had the date available I had requested and to text them as well. I texted and received a text back that they were on a job and would get back to me. Didn't hear back, so I texted again, still no reply. I called again and asked if they would be able to accommodate my project and I was told that my request wasn't worth their time. It would have been nice to been told that in the first place, instead I waited a couple of weeks just to hear this. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. JunkGods returned just a week later to do a nasty cleanup in my garage. They cut up a lot of rotting carpet and swept the junk. They knocked down and removed rotting workbench. All was result of a torrential rainfall years ago. Again they hauled a truck and trailer load of debris. They even offered references for rebuilding contractor for the seriously water damaged walls. I booked online and was not charged until the service had been rendered. Easy to book and great communication as they reach out via text if there is an issue or need to reschedule and let you know what's up. I understand that this is a smaller operation and in the junk removal business there are more established and larger companies to deal with, but I appreciate the value and the simple approach with the texts to communicate and honor their agreements.
