We came on a Saturday night and were able to find seats at the bar. My friend wanted a Jack and Coke but they don't carry Coke products so had to replace it with Pepsi. Apparently it wasn't the same. I had their pizza which is fine, the quality has gone down a little bit. The service at the bar was hit and miss. Our bartender would disappear for awhile and it took some time to place our order and get new drinks. I will give it another try since it was the bar and not the dining room. This place is a nightmare. I have a feeling it's management but I'll let you be the judge. Pulled in for a happy hour with friends and I noticed a car with the alarm blaring. What happened? Car broken into. Right in front of the doors. The security camera for their parking lot? Yeah they don't cover the parking lot. We were seated quickly and got all of our initial orders in and after our first app arrived is when the wheels started to come off the wagon. Getting refills was painful. What should be a quick water refill turned into asking for someone to find our waitress because they had disappeared. Our meals that were ordered all at the same time? Came out at different times. One of my friends ordered a tri tip and the other followed suit. The first tri tip was so charred it was inedible. The other? Cooked perfectly. So she asked for it to be retired and the manager wouldn't even come to the table because she said "they all come out like that so we recommend something else like a salmon". Uh what? Steaks not cooked to temp and sending not even our waitress to address the issue? Yea no. Between the lack of management. The fact the weren't that busy and moved at a glacial pace, inadequate surveillance for their patrons, and just poor food quality I won't come back here. Bring back the lubys. read more

I was craving a pizookie and ordered the chocolate chip one to go. It was ready within 10 minutes of ordering. I did curbside pickup and they brought it out in no time. They packaged it super nice and secure. The pizookies are always super delicious! I devoured the whole thing by myself. Definitely worth it for $9. read more

I had steak house wedge. Steak cooked just right and wedge was good. Wife had a chicken flat bread. Avocado that was on it had brown spots on it. Her wine glass had lip prints on it. The bartender went through five glasses to try to find one without lip prints before hand washing her one. She had a white wine they served in a side small carafe. After emptying it, we noticed a red tint to the glass. The carafe was stained red. Sever was very nice. read more

We were told there was a shortage of servers and made to wait while watching other parties getting seated. Hostess did not acknowledge my sister in law when she came in and the other guest had to tell her that she was in line first. The shortage should be equal across the board. Glad this exist in Cypress! Since it is a chain restaurant I always judge based on service and quality of food versus type of food, if that made sense. So far the service has been great 3 of the 3 times I've been. I've been with a larger party and smaller party and the staff were very helpful and kind. The food was good as you expect it to be. Though one time my wife had a bit too much char on her sandwich than there should be. The waitress totally understood, agreed, and got it fixed right away. But pizza was good, burgers are good, and pasta was good. It's not a 5 star restaurant but it's good enough. The place is spacious and has a nice calming vibe to it. My son and I usually have good food from them. I guess they cut out someone that checks the food before they serve it. There's a difference between being caramelized and just flat out burnt. My Brussels sprouts were burnt and inedible. Nobody likes to get food to go at one restaurant. They have to go get something at a different restaurant because the first one didn't make your dinner right. We also ordered 2 wedge salads and they both were the exact same. Almost no toppings and like 6 leaves of lettuce. It's called a blue cheese "WEDGE" salad. It's not a wedge of lettuce. My first trip was probably a 3 star experience but my second, 5-stars all around. Why? I forgot about BJs specialty and seasonal brews. I tried a few before deciding, but choosing between the amber and red was really a challenge, because they were both delicious. They receive my vote over the cocktails (even the $6 cocktails) any day! In addition to the brews, the bartender worked the bar with ease, checking in on everyone, making small talk and helping with recommendations without being intrusive. While there a grabbed an order of brussel sprouts and the pizookie trio. While I likely ate my weight in sugar, I highly recommend their pizookie. Even if you only order a pizookie during your visit, order the pizookie! I love seeing the adaptation in their menu, and when I'm ready for a cheat meal, I'll be back for more! read more

We came on a Friday night. They weren't packed, but the crowd was steady. The service was slow. Our server was great though, it just took forever for the food. We waited about 5-10 minutes just to be seated, and after we were finally seated, another 5-10 minutes passed without anyone acknowledging us. There were waiters cleaning tables nearby, but no one bothered to check on or acknowledge my family. I eventually had to get up and ask when someone might help us. They said they'd be right with us, but we still waited. We eventually left. The whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth and makes me hesitant to visit again. read more

1.24.25 I came here with my daughter for lunch. I have never been here before but she has. They have a nice lunch menu plus it comes with a dessert. Heck yeah' Service was extremely slow. (We were there for 1.5 hours!) The food on the other hand was GREAT! I ordered the lunch soup and salad. My soup was broccoli cheese in a sourdough bowl. Omg, so tasty, both of them. The soup was the best BC I have ever had. It also came with garlic bread. (Yummy) The house salad was good - nothing special. My daughter ordered the lunch chicken Parmesan with spaghetti. She said it was very good and would order it again. I gave her some of my garlic bread and she said it was good, and wished her meal came with it. The desserts were the perfect size. My was hot fudge brownie and her was salted caramel cookie. Both were very tasty. The ambiance was great for lunch time and played great music. My experience for Sunday lunch was amazing!! We all tried the $13 pizookie special. I got the southern fried chicken and it was one of the best I've ever had. We tried the chicken tortilla soup, it had a lot of chicken and bacon in it and the broth was yummy. Our server was nice and responsive. We got seated right away and it's so spacious and not too loud inside. They had the game playing as well. Of course the pizookies were amazing, I had the salted caramel which was 10/10. Our waitress was the BESTTT!!! I wish I would have gotten her name but I will for sure be back and find her. Most of the staff there seem to be happy and very friendly so management must be doing something right which is something I like to see. So many food choices and if you dig you'll find great deals. I ended up getting the Pizookie meal deal for $13 with the ALL YOU CAN EAT soup and salad and I was not disappointed. The clam chowder hit the spot. Perfect balance of clams and potatoes...it was so good. I really enjoyed the Caesar salad as well. The rest of our table got pizza a plant based burger and the chicken Alfredo and they really enjoyed everything. They start kiddos out with a cute bowl of fresh fruit and crackers which was a nice surprise. Very open and large establishment with lots of comfy seats. Very misleading and disappointing night. If you're going to dramatically reduce your happy hour options I get it, but at least update your website. Wasting time when it's still listed on your website but pretending it's not misleading is just bad management overall. Honestly they have been mixed anyhow depending on the day, but given this recent fiasco I can't say I'll be rushing back anytime soon. This new BJ's is beautiful and I'm really excited that we have one in the area now. Tons of new staff so be patient as they settle in and get trained up. My steak came out overcooked originally, but the manager did an amazing job of handing it. The second time it came out, it was cooked perfectly but it lacked flavor. The pazookie was great and our server Andre was personable, fun and attentive. We will give them another go round on the food, but the pazookies are always a hit. The staff are very nice. The restaurant is huge. Classic BJ's layout. Bar to the right of the entrance; booths and tables to the left. They have an option to get on the waitlist before you arrive at the restaurant. I would highly recommend adding your name before you leave to go to the restaurant. If it's not packed, it will be soon, as it's the new place to go in Cypress right now. Parking seems to always be packed. Inside, there's several TV's spread out along the walls. There's also a board showing all the beers they have on tap. It also features their daily specials. I have been twice as our first experience seemed to be a hit or miss. Our server was very nice, gregarious, and greeted us the second time we came in like friends. Very sweet. That first night we went it did take a while to get our drinks and food. The second refill of my drink there was something in the drink and I showed our server and he took it away but I forgot to check if I was charged or if it was removed from my bill. It was a strawberry lemonade. It didn't look like the leaf from the strawberry so I didn't drink it. It took about 15 minutes to get ketchup for my kids' fries. 20 minutes to get drink refills. And overall, just a lot of time to get served. As it is their first week open I'm waiting and hoping the staff will get more into their groove and that service will get the kinks worked out soon. The second time we went, we were seated at a high table in the bar area. Took about 5-10 minutes to be seated as I had added our name to the waitlist around 5:30 in order to get seated quickly once we arrived around 6:30 PM. The place was already packed and a crowd was starting to form of waiting parties. Had the chicken parm and spaghetti this visit. It was delicious. Very filling for a lunch portion. Also had the mango-licious boba sparkling drink. It was really tasty though I wish it had more boba. Kid had a small shareable pizza: pepperoni. Their pizzas are made with a chunky tomato sauce and it's on the sweeter side. The thick base and crust is delicious. The pizzas in general are a little pricey but they are tasty. Their cheeseburger meal is also tasty; meat cooked to your liking, toppings, and what seems like twice fried fries (yum). Service was a little faster the second time around. But I would recommend if you know what you want and don't want to experiment too much with different plates, order everything you want the first time your server comes to the table. It was still a challenge to get the servers attention once they left the table. This second visit, the place was quite busy again. Overall, would go back to try more of the food. Their shareable apps look really good. And hopefully in a few weeks time the service will be up to scratch. read more

The Asian chicken salad was supposed to have napa cabbage, romaine and baby spring mix. It was only spring mix as if poured from a bag. The chicken was unseasoned. All I can say is they have done it right at this location!! From the time we walked in the door to the time we left it was nothing but awesomeness!! Our server Emily was amazing and on point with her recommendations and John who Im guessing was her trainer was epic! The "unlucky duck" bathtub beverages were on point which made the wife very happy. The pizza was excellent as the crust melts in your mouth but I cannot get away from the service we received here. Went for my jobs Christmas party. I Went to the bar and had happy Hour before dinner; I had the spinach dip and got a strawberry mango margarita both of them were okay. Not sure if I would get it again though. I was able to take both to my table which was a good thing and didn't have to stay at the bar. I got the Jambalaya for dinner it was good and a little spicy. Only thing I didn't like about my food, it was paired with pilaf rice which was really weird. Even some of my co-workers thought it was weird.
