    Homemade rolls

Hostesses were annoyed that we came in and then when we requested a booth they rolled their eyes. I'm not sure why that is an issue? Server was amazing and stayed on top of most of what we needed. The grilled shrimp came out super fast and were delish. The entrees were pretty good, the steak was on point. The portobello mushroom chicken was juicy and good as well. I missed where the baked potato costed more if fully loaded, yet it was not bad. The manager that is supposed to stop at tables never came by after we were there for 49 minutes. We figured they were busy. Hope next time we are not an inconvenience for requesting a booth.

We came here for our Valentine's dinner date and our waitress was so helpful. She recommended the blooming onion with cheese and brown gravy. It was delicious!!! Our steaks were mouthwatering and cooked perfectly! I love my loaded baked potato and my husband enjoyed his sweet potato. The service was outstanding and ambiance was great for being a Friday night.

Recently I have visited this Texas Roadhouse twice for different reasons. I notice that now peanuts are in sealed bags at the entrance. I think the idea is to take them home to eat rather than at your table because I didn't see any hulls on the floor. This is a busy restaurant and it's not uncommon to wait 10 minutes for a table. I tried the roadkill chopped steak for $12.49 and chose a salad for one side dish and a loaded baked potato for the other but with an extra cost of $1.29. The salad was very good with chopped eggs in it. The tater was good and worth the cost. The meat was cooked medium and a little dry with some gooey cheese, mushrooms and onions on top. Table service was good. I gave this meal a 3.5. The next visit was for the 12 oz. ribeye for $23. I went with the same salad but opted for a cup of chili. Both salad and chili were very good tasting with the chili having some cheese on top. The steak wasn't as tender as I would have liked. I gave this meal a 3. I give an overall score of 3 and would consider returning. The side dishes were very good but the meats could have been better. I would probably order the chopped steak again. Oh and the free bread rolls are delicious.

My very first time so we had to try the famous rolls and butter (not pictured because we ate them as soon as they arrived) they were so good we also got the frozen strawberry margaritas and they were delicious and very huge. The fried calamari was great but definitely a shareable size. Overall it was very cute and the server was very nice and attentive! The restaurant has many booths and can fit large groups.

Positive experience. Place is almost ALWAYS busy so be prepared to wait. No more peanuts on the floor which is great. Had A+ service. Ribs melted off the bone as advertised. Had an blooming Onion. It was not as salty, nor was anything else as salty as what I experienced at Outback. Not to say some things might be, like the chili. Not a fan of chain restaurants at all. This place checks all the corporate restaurant check boxes for sure. It's kind of hard to ignore just how busy they are. It's actually pretty decent and provide a consistent experience. I didn't have any reason to ding them for anything. They are well staffed and it appears to be a well operated business.

We frequent different locations but it was our first time at this location. The wait was about an hour for walk in with large group. Good luck finding a decent table to fit 9 people: you basically had to squeeze in next to each other. Food: bread was delicious as always, meat is a tad under season for the prime rib, peach tea had no sweetness and tastes water down. Salad and side dishes were okay, nothing different compared to other franchise. Service is really bad. Our waitress Liz - instead of directing guests where the menu located, when asked, she pointed toward the back silent. When we asked the second time, she spoke back and asked if this is our first time. She was rude, impatience, and unable to convey what's special in the menu. She just wanted to take order and get over with. The host who took us to the table was nice but the waitress was horrible. Customer service was pretty bad, we are not so sure we should try this location again. We dined on last Wednesday, sat at the right corner of the restaurant, between 9 ish to 10 ish. I'm so embarrassed to introduce this place to our relatives from out of state.

Finished bread and salad waiting eternally for the steak...

Ridiculously mediocre service, steak always has to be sent back after waiting for it, but it still ends up cold.

Hubs BD and Father's Day Gift Cards..I am his date. He loves this place and is easy to please. His steak tenderizer is good for him, so salty, but he is so happy with over cooked steak. That man grills the best steaks of any I have ever eaten, but this is his happy place. The plain sweet potato with butter and salt is my favorite. I did have a Sangrio and it was good. I noticed; very glad about; the peanuts are in bags (sealed) now. I was always worried about a peanut allergy..a small child may even knowing yet perhaps about an allergy and the tragedy that could happen with the open barrels and dust. This was a great site. Christmas is around the corner...more Gift Cards...

It also felt like a third space of sorts, because I was hanging out with a well connected friend, and everyone who came in was a who's who of the Houston restaurant/nightlife scene, and gathered for what turned out to be an unplanned hang out. They were hosting a vinyl swap night, so folks were coming in to peruse the many boxes of vinyls, and a DJ spun classic r&b tunes. I hear that on some nights they make space for a dance floor so people can show off their best two step in the space. The drinks were great and well priced but the wine selection is what got me. I was told they were inspired by Japan's many vinyl listening bars-- having been to many across Japan as well as many NYC imitators, this place actually impressively comes close. Regarding the food, the Frisée Salad was pretty good, well dressed and flavorful. The chicken sandwich was okay. The batter was crispy and flaky but it had no flavor. What made it a lot better was the coleslaw that brought a great deal of tang and moisture. The steak was not quite for me. It came on a bed of sauce that was flavorful with fresh veggies but it did not go well with the steak. Perhaps chicken would've suited better. The steak itself was dry and quite chewy. For dessert we had the carrot cake tres leches which was decent. The carrot cake flavor was there but the moisture from the cake was not fully spread in the cake. Overall nothing here was bad but with the plethora of restaurants in the Houston area I can't justify recommending or returning.

Located in Midtown this cute spot offers good music, fine food, and great ambiance. The mood is set with a soundtrack of classic hits playing in the background, and let's not forget about that bathroom, it's wild! I mean, I got a whole "duolingo" French lesson (the language of love) while washing my hands! Things like that definitely set this place apart from the rest. I was greeted warmly from the second I stepped in the door! While I waited for my party to arrive I sat at their bar area and ordered a Pineapple Mule served with a smile. Right off the bat I connected with James , one of the waitstaff who also happened to be serving our table. He was so the BEST! Hands down the most awesome waitstaff I've ever met. He made our time there special. I felt like I've known him for years, and he knew just how to connect with each person in our group! We all fell in love with him instantly! Tonight (likely due to the Valentine's Day crowd) the meal was pre-set for every guest. This meal included bread, salad, and Collette steak in their special sauce, with fries. There were dessert options as well, from which I chose a key lime pie. And an assortment of after dinner coffees. What blew my mind was that they came around and offered more food to us after finishing our first entree plate! I wasn't expecting that, and was pleasantly surprised. Parking for this location sits right behind the restaurant, a parking garage that is free. Because of the number of shops and restaurants around (an especially since this was Valentines weekend) parking can be at a premium during certain points of the day, so think about that when coming. There is also street parking available too. Seating for Medium Rare is offered both inside and outside (patio). The price average for this place is moderate, and folks can dress up or down. It is a beautiful place for a girls night out, date night, celebrations, brunch, etc! I had a wonderful time here! An amazing experience for sure. P.S. they give you Bazooka gum at the end of your meal! That brought back good memories for sure! This was my first time coming, and it won't be my last. This place is definitely worth checking out! Enjoy!
