BEST SPOT FOR DINNER!! I love BJ's and k think we can all agree that the food here is BOMB! One of the underrated items on their menu are the bone in NASHVILLE wings! They have a kick and have a hint of sweetness! They also have a avocado chicken flatbread pizza that my family LOVES!! Their deep dish pasta is also DELICIOUS! And too end the delicious meal you can get their signature pizookie!! (A warm/fresh out of the oven skillet cookie of your choice and topped of with a cold scoop of ice cream!) They have many flavors of Pizookies like Cookies & Cream/OREO, Fruity Pebbles, White Chocolate Macadamia Nut, Etc! As you can see this place is a GREAT spot for your next meal!! read more

This is a new location for BJ's. Unlike lots of other BJs, they only have 3 TVs behind the bar playing games, but we didn't feel like we were missing anything. The food was delicious, I think the pepperoni dip is only there for a limited time, which is sad, but hurry in to try it! The servers were attentive and nice. It's really easy to join their rewards program and earn free stuff, but they're not by any means pressuring anyone to do so like can be annoying at other places. read more

This place can be a real hit or miss. The menu offers variety, but the choices can either be amazing or disappointing. And maybe that's not the items themselves, maybe it's just variation in good and bad days. Either way, I haven't had consistency. On a normal basis, I'm typically a fan of their deep dish pizza. Last time I went though our cheese and tomato pizza wasn't cooked enough. The dough wasn't necessarily goopy, but it didn't have a crispy exterior. The cheese was also in that in-between state of barely melted. The roasted portobello and asparagus salad was a huge disappointment. The dressing was okay, but the portobello mushrooms were unappealing. They were cold, so they suffered a slimy, off-putting taste. Not sure if it's meant to be cold or not, but it just didn't work. I normally love portobellos, but had to take them off this salad. I have thoroughly enjoyed their roasted golden beets, couscous mac & cheese, and shrimp arugula pita tacos though. The shrimp arugula pita tacos are light and flavourful. Initially the shrimp looked a little sad and under-seasoned, but all of the fillings ended up meshing well together. On 1/20/24 my family and I went to BJ's after a trip to Denton. Once we had got there, the girl at the front desk said it would be a wait of 20-25 minutes, it was an hour wait. Once we sat down, we were asked for our drinks, which went fine. The area around wasn't that pleasant, it was loud and annoying. It had taken about 39 minutes to get our drinks and an appetizer of nachos. After I ate some nachos, I went to wash my hands and use the restroom. The girl in the stall right next to me was throwing up, which was a horrible sign for me. I ordered the Fettuccine Alfredo with a side of their smiley fries, which sounded great too. I also got a side of fruit, which is a go to after a long day. But, nothing was good. The fettuccine was not through. It was either way too hard or cooked too long. The fries were still frozen and, not to mention, the menu says it's fresh fruit. Some fresh fruit if you ask me. read more

The restaurant was good in the past they have an extensive menu and typically good service. I took my family there today and arrived at opening to avoid expected crowds due to graduation and mother day. I am not sure they were short staffed or if it was just server inadequacy our experience was less than satisfactory. The food was good but came out in 3 different waves for 5 people. Our drinks were not refilled timely and the manager apologized and said our last plate would be out lightning fast. We asked for a to go dessert that took 20 min to provide a simple shortcake . WAY OVER PRICED for the quality of food. Went to eat today for the first time and menu looked good. I ordered the grilled chicken Alfredo. Wait time was maybe about 10-15 min which is not bad but when the food got here.. I was like "what the..." a whole bunch of watered down noodles, a pool of Alfredo sauce at the bottom of the plate from how watery it was. The chicken was good, but of course salt makes it taste better. My husband got a steak, and was okay with it. The check comes... and I was even more disappointed. $53! BROOO! Never coming back. This last time was no exception only this time they were also 37 minutes past pick up time. From the time we entered the building all employees were smiling and welcoming! Our server was top-notch! Absolutely best server ever. So attentive and friendly. Food was delicious and quick. Sirloin was juicy and tender. Shrimp scampi was buttery and seasoned nicely. BJ Piranha Pale Ale was good choice, but the best part of the meal was the BJ Barrel-aged Stout. Wow! read more

Wife, Grandson and I went for Lunch after Church Today! Grandson had a small, kids cheese pizza, wife had a new burger with all of the fixings to include an egg on the top and I had chili as a side and a California Club Sandwich! Food was ok! The Chilli was the best item I eat! My sandwich was not as good as I've had at other BJ's! Service was great! Overall, I'd say our visit today was a 3.5 Stars! read more

I should have known after walking into the bathroom and paper towels and toilet paper all over the floor and full trash cans that we should have left right then... But we stayed.. 2nd Clue after being seated at a table that had smashed food all over the floor under the table..we should have again left but did not. The waitress that came to our table was very rude. We ordered our drinks and asked if the TV beside us could be changed to a baseball game and she told us she was too busy to change it... Another waitress came to our table also and was very friendly, tried taking our order and assured us there would be no problem in changing the tv channel!! And then the original waitress came back and told us it was in fact her that would be taking care of us, so we tried putting in our food order and she was again so rude!! Burgers here are under rated I got the chicken fried steak burger, and I can honestly say it was one of the best burgers I've had definitely in my top 10. My Boy had the brisket and bacon burger it looked satisfying and he said he loved it. Also we had a great waiter, I recommend the Denton location. read more

2/27/22 The manager gets five stars and the person fulfilling our order gets 1 star. We placed an order via Grubhub for one order of (4) sliders with cheese, and one order of (4) sliders with French fries, Brussel sprouts, and a side of thousand island dressing. Thirty minutes later our order was dropped at the front door to include: one order of (3) sliders with only one of three burgers having cheese, and Brussel sprouts. So, we called the BJs on Hwy 35 - was on hold for 35 minutes before finally talking to a manager. The manager was fried from running a restaurant with few employees. (That's a convo for another time - has America gone totally lazy with no one working? Thank you, Mr. Biden). He gave us a $50 gift card and asked us to re order our food with Grubhub. Now to find out how to "re order" from Grubhub as there is no phone number to call! I will only order through Grubhub when I am unable to cook - like now - due to my arm being in a sling from surgery. read more

Had lunch here after looking at a travel trailer. The bar was a great place to sit. The food was hot but the fish frying grease needs to be changed more often. Craft beers are great. This is our 2nd time to get curbside and I was very disappointed. The first time it was amazing we got home and the box had nice plates, the silverware was in an individual place setting bags, there were serving spoons and tongs along with several napkins. This time unfortunately, (i guess because they feel the pandemic is over) our box looked like a 3 year old packed it. Now let me say the food was AMAZING as usual, but I was expecting to get treated like the first time, like you were still eating at the restaurant but the was definitely not the case. The plates were the cheap plates you get from the dollar store and I mean the Styrofoam ones that would not hold a sandwich. This place continues to go down hill. It used to be good. Last few times horrible service, cold food, employees standing around talking, just very unprofessional run place. My thoughts are if they do this in front of the house, what is going on behind closed doors where food is prepared. On this visit my chicken was served so cold it was like out of the fridge. It was the Chimichurri Chicken. Supposed to be grilled fresh. This chicken was old hard and cold. If I had to guess, they are either pre cooking and then warming when ordered or pre cooking and sitting on counter or under hot plate. My plate was warm like under heat lamp. The chicken was Cold, not warm, not luke warm but cold like room temp. This is not only poor business but they are going to make people sick. Especially now during this Virus outbreak, you would think they would at least ensure food is hot and cooked fresh to avoid cross contamination. Of course, as usual, it took 5 to 10 minutes for the Manager to come out, guess I was interrupting his video game, and when I ask him to feel how cold the chicken was, he said he did not want to touch it, they would make me a new one. I know what that means. They will reheat the old cold chicken that has been sitting around growing bacteria. Why would anyone trust them to do the right thing, if they are serving and allowing this type of "health hazard" food to be served. I have contacted health department since this is not the first time this has happened. In the past is was at lease a little warm, so I just ate it. This was absolutely unhealthy cold. I have called the district manager and he said he would check into it and told the chicken should be cooked when ordered and no excuse for even being just warm, it should be hot. He said he would get back to me, NEVER CALLED back. This was from previous cold food. I did not call him this time. The BJ's in Lewisville is run much better, I would suggest you stay away from this place to avoid getting sick. Maybe the health department will shut them down or enforce food standards. This is no time to be ignoring safety protocols and serving sub standard unhealthy food. read more

First the hostess was going to put us in a booth. Then they put us on a table with the chairs too close to pull out from another guest already seated. We were told by the server we could move the table ourselves if we wanted. Server told us she was getting ready to leave but carried out our food over 45 minutes prior to being seated. No refills, no check backs, food took over 45 min to come to the table. Ordered one beer and it took until the visit was almost finished, a full hour. We went to look for the drink and the male host had to finish his text before responding that he would go look for the server. When it came to the table it had something the size of a nickel floating in it. Never brought a clean one. All good cold. No condiments brought without asking multiple times. read more

The first time I ate here, the steak I ordered was covered in a salty seasoning powdered crust so potent I spent the rest of the night throwing it all back up. The second time I ate here, I ordered a salad, thinking that would be a safer choice. Wrong again! My salad was supposed to come w grilled chicken, which the server somehow "forgot". Came here the day after Christmas due to getting a gift card here. We ordered our food and showed up waiting for someone to bring it out. It took so long one of us went inside to get our food. Just for the lady to see the food was put together in-front of her after around 5 minutes. And tried telling us it wasn't ready when it was. Half the tables were empty on a Sunday fight night. We picked up our food and went home only to see 3 SMALL meatballs that were tasteless and looked like they had been frozen, with a gray paste like texture in a half full spaghetti box where the noodles and sauce were bland. Our garlic bread was BURNT and barely tasted like garlic bread. On top of that the Caesar salad box was half full with wimpy sad looking lettuce. There was a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese. The croutons were stale. Our pizza was soggy with little to no sauce. The mushrooms looked and tasted like they weren't cooked and the same with the onions. I am truly disappointed in our experience due to how much good we heard about this place only to be disappointed. For the price you'd expect more. read more

Took the family to BJ's to celebrate the daughters Birthday and we got Jackson as our server. He was friendly and did a great job. Wonderful smile and great sense of humour. From recommending in house brews to restaurants specials. He knocked it out of the park and guarantee we will be back. Went there for a second time after a round of golf and ate in the bar area. My waitress was outstanding consistently checking on me, my drinks and appetizer arrived promptly. The manager also checked on me and we had a great conversation regarding the company's customer service philosophy. I've had a great experience each time I visited so I will certainly return. My only issue was the Cajun Pasta could have been better because it didn't have that Cajun taste I expected but everything else was very good. Sorry I'm from New Orleans and I'm very critical when it comes to Cajun food. read more
