We were there for the lunch Pazookie special for $13. I got the strawberry salad. I've had this before at the old O'Charleys. This one does not quite match up, and there were hardly any nuts in it at all. The vinaigrette isn't as good, but the rest of the salad was great. My son got the double cheeseburger with fries. It was fairly routine from that standpoint. The fries were good. The surprising part was dessert. My son ordered the chocolate chunk, which was fairly good and I ordered the Oreo, which was surprisingly excellent. He got a soda and I got a water and we were out of there for about $35. read more

Overall a very pleasant experience. Due to my food sensitivities, I looked up their allergen menu ahead of time and discovered I could consume two items on the menu: ginger beer, and Enlightened Strawberry Fields Salad (comes with grilled chicken on top). I visited this establishment on Sunday 5/11/25 with three other individuals, one of whom had made reservations for us ahead of time. Thank goodness for the reservation, because the restaurant was full to capacity, even the bar area was completely occupied. I arrived a bit before the reservation time, sat at the bar and ordered a Ginger Beer (a delectable non-alcoholic drink). Cassie was the bartender, and very friendly and attentive. When the reservation time arrived, our party was directed to our booth, which could have used a good wiping down on the seats and a good sweep under the table, but the table top was clean and we all sat down. With it being so busy, I'm not surprised the seating and floor were not spotless. The rest of the group ordered two appetizers: Fried Couscous Mac & Cheese Balls, and Chicken Pot Stickers, of which they all loved both items, but truly raved about the Fried Couscous Mac & Cheese Balls. One individual ordered a BJ's IPA and really enjoyed it as well. One individual ordered the Chicken Alfredo and it was a bit on the dry side, and the waitress obligingly brought them more Alfredo sauce. Other than that, all four of us enjoyed our meals. My Enlightened Strawberry Fields Salad (without cheese or pecans) was very fresh and tasty. I have to update my review as my last visit was disappointing unfortunately... we were there for almost three hours, waited for our appetizer for almost 1 hour; entrees for 1 hour; and dessert for almost 30 min. My food (sandwich) was cold and soggy and the fries were missing... we saw a bunch of people leave because they were not getting greeted, we saw people next to us getting the wrong food orders or just waiting for a long time like us. We did have a new server but everyone else in other sections seemed to be okay. I am not sure what happened as this has not been an issue before here or anywhere else when a server is new. Perhaps they were slammed? Short staffed? No idea. I also had two coupons and asked the server to scan my barcode as stated on the app so I could use them together (he asked another server if that was allowed and he said yes). Then he tried my phone numbers and "nothing came up" and apparently management just said "sorry, at least we got your birthday dessert off"... even though I had the app right in front them? oh well I guess. Had to ask for a box 3-4 times. It was just painful. By the time we finished our appetizer we wanted to go home but couldn't. I wanted to express these concerns in person but my husband did not let me due to the server being new, which I understood. I'll continue to come in because my husband loves it, but I really wish new servers got more training or less tables, as he expressed concern on having so many tables on his second day, maybe he was overwhelmed. read more

There are tons of spots to sit on floor and at bar, vast options to eat on the menu, TVs to watch different sporting events, and waiters constantly checking in on you. The food comes out decently fast, large portions and seems like good quality. Our table got the enlightened chicken salad: which was very big and fresh, the roast beef sandwich: which was huge and came with fries and coleslaw, and the classic burger: cooked at medium, which came with fries. "We visited BJ's Brewhouse last night to celebrate my daughter's 15th birthday with a group of about 15 people. We called ahead to let them know we were coming and made it clear that checks would be separate per family. They assigned us two servers--one was excellent, the other was subpar. Early in the evening, a few of the girls went to the bathroom to take TikToks (as teenagers do). A manager followed them in, abruptly opened the door, and stood watching them. We didn't think much of it at first, but then the behavior escalated. After that first incident, the manager began lingering around our area--moving chairs, checking our check, and doing odd things just to stay nearby. She then walked away and began speaking to the other servers, and suddenly every employee in the restaurant was staring at our table. It was obvious we were being watched. The girls made another trip to the bathroom, and this time the manager sent an employee to watch them and actually videotape them inside the bathroom. I went over to ask the manager what was happening. She politely said, 'No sir,' and continued hovering. When it came time to settle our checks, we noticed that an 18% gratuity had been automatically added--something that was not done when we visited in January with an even larger group. Here's what really confirms what this was about: After all of this happened, three white young ladies went to the exact same bathroom. They were in there just as long as our girls were. Nobody followed them. Nobody watched them. Nobody videotaped them. They were left completely alone. And to the waitresses who were just trying to do their jobs under that manager--I'm sorry. You missed out on the $100 tip I was planning on giving each of you. But that doesn't matter. She made her point, and now I'm making mine. So to the night manager: I want to thank you for not having the integrity to answer the question honestly when I asked if there was an issue. But it's hard to explain away racism. It's hard to explain that you just don't like when Black kids exist in your space. I want to thank you for giving my children a complex about being Black in your restaurant. I guess it's good they learn early that there are people who will treat them differently for no reason other than the color of their skin. Train your staff better. Do better." read more

Well, we did not receive the same service today. It took quite a while to be greeted once we were seated. Our server was very mumbly so we had to ask him to repeat everything he said. We had our hearts set on sweet potato fries only to find out well after we placed our order that they were out. Not only was this disappointing but it extended our wait time to receive our food. We ordered an appetizer, queso, which was very plain and overpriced for chips and dip. For our entrees, we ordered the Philly cheesesteak and Italian chicken parm. The Philly had a decent spice to it, which was much more profound given we couldn't find our waiter for refills. We were undecided on a dessert so we went with the pizookie trio. Very disappointed in our meals. My Seared Ahi tuna salad was so drenched in dressing that it was soggy. My husband had the opposite problem, his chicken Alfredo was severely lacking in sauce. We waited and waited for our desserts. Everyone in my party got their pzookies except me. So we waited longer. Eventually everyone else finished theirs. Our waitress Marissa was very proficient and excellent. My ribeye was cooked to medium when I wanted medium rare and when she went to check on us, we told her of my complaint. She got another plate to take my steak to show the chef and made the comment that she thought they were cooking my steak a little too long. But shortly after that, they brought out a new ribeye that was cooked medium rare. I had green beans and asparagus as my side. My husband had the tri-tip with pork ribs. They left the wet rub on the outside and just made the steak with the dry rub. He really enjoyed it. My friends had never been to BJ's before; so this was an experience for them. They had a cheese pizza and had leftovers. Very good. And BJ's chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries and coleslaw. She also thought the food was good. I have been to BJ at least once a month for lunch. Why? Great lunch menu offerings that don't break your bank, food quality n taste, and great service. My last two times, Connor was our wait staff. He was the best of their staff in my opinion. I could tell that Connor enjoys his job- friendly, helpful, great service, cares to show that he wants you to hv a good dining experience at BJ. My last time, we ordered their Mon. half priced large pizza. The manager brought out our order n even put the first slices on our plates. One helpful suggestion, the women's rest room door has been banging loudly. You can hear it all over the dining room. Please get it fixed or adjusted. I don't give 1 star reviews because every restaurant has a bad night and maybe we were a victim on this night.... My wife and I decided to eat here tonight because we love their food and usually have an enjoyable experience. Read on and hope that this is just a hand full of employees having an off night. I know COVID has changed things but you decide on the rest. I like the check in system where they page you when your table is ready. The hostess was stellar and should be running this place because she knew customer service unlike the rest of the group we were paired with tonight. After our 50 minute wait (no big deal given the pandemic and Friday night), we got our table that was in the bar area. Our waiter came up to us and took our drink orders and when he returned we ordered and appetizer which a runner delivered. That was the last we saw of any service or care on this night 9/19/2020. We were ghosted from there as we watched this waiter walk by us time after time over the next 25 minutes serving tables all around us. I went to the carry out stand and asked to speak to the manager but the person wouldn't get him so I asked for change and slapped an estimated payment plus "undeserved" tip on the table. My wife decided she wanted to make sure the manager knew that they might want to step it up in the future. The same kid suddenly found the manager for her and I listened in. He did not care or apologize about the situation. We just weren't important enough and I get it so will definitely take that into account on future trips out when figuring out where to eat with family and groups. We went to Roosters from there and got seated right away, watched the Lakers game and never had to look around for service. If we ever decide to step foot back in this establishment, I hope to write a 5 star review. read more

My sister, brother-in-law and I were in town for the Boy's State Basketball tournament and wanted to experience something different. BJ's was recommended by a friend. Everything about this place was amazing....the food, the white sangria and our service were outstanding. I ordered the brisket and bacon burger which was absolutely delish and cooked perfectly. I'm a sucker for a good white/peach sangria and this one hit the spot. My sister and BIL had the ribs and they enjoyed every bite. One of my favorite restaurants for a cheat meal. Tonight I had the Wednesday special ($10 loaded burgers & bottomless fries). I had the bacon cheeseburger. Since I was having a cheat meal and partaking in bottomless fries, I opted to trade my beef patty for a turkey patty. I feel like I made a great decision. The turkey patty was thick, juicy and well seasoned. My burger was absolutely delicious! I was able to shave some calories off the burger while I enjoyed my 2 orders of fries. Our server was great. She checked on us periodically and kept drinks refilled. Food orders came out quickly with no issues. Unfortunately I was stuffed after my burger & fries so I had no room for my favorite dessert, the pizookie. Luckily for me, they were having a promotion where you add $1 to your bill and it gets donated to No Kid Hungry. In return for your donation, you get a card for a free Pizookie on a future visit.
