I really like this place. The vibes are good, friendly service, lots of TVs, good crowd. You seat yourself, which can be a little chaotic when it's full. Menu has a lot of great choices, including a wide selection of bar choices we ordered a couple beers. I ordered a salmon poke bowl, daughter ordered kale and quinoa salad with grilled salmon and husband got a burger and fries. Everything was very good. I'm glad I chose the sauces on the side with my bowl, because I didn't love them. We rarely get dessert, but wanted to watch the end of a football game anyway. Girls ordered the warm cookie with ice cream for the table and it was SO much better than I expected. Would get again for sure. The menu looked newer since our last visit, which was a nice change. We ordered the buffalo wings and the buffalo quesadilla. The wings were good and full of flavor, but I really wish they were crispier and had a little more heat to them. The buffalo quesadilla, though, was a winner. My sister and I were starving after a business meeting and jumped on Yelp to find a good steak place and Harry's popped up. I will tell that we must have got there and just the right time because that place blew up with people immediately after thank goodness we got a table. The environment is busy and loud, which I like because my sister and I are always flapping our gums and talk loud so it was the perfect setting for us. Our waitress was so nice and fast. We had fresh bread with the best garlic butter on the planet And our drinks in less than five minutes. That bread was pillowy, soft and being a garlic lover the butter was amazing. I ordered the kale and quinoa salad with grilled chicken and it was a huge portion. I have ate on that thing four times. But it was so delicious. I will definitely go back just for that salad. My sister had the fillet And the thick cut fries. I was too busy eating my salad to try the steak, but it looked phenomenal and she ate every bite of it. My only regret was not leaving room for dessert because there was a dessert that kept showing up on the TV screen that I would've loved to had, but I'll save that till next time. I do not understand, nor accept, that an establishment that has two adjoining dining areas, share menus that have both Harry's and Malones names on both can refuse happy hour prices in one (Harry's) that are being offered a few feet away (Maloney). If there were another time that I simply wanted only cocktails and appetizers I would go to the part of the restaurant that offered better prices even though I would "waste" one of their higher production tables. read more

Love this place!! Great atmosphere! As soon as you walk in you see multiple TVs with at least 4 -5 different shows on; some different sports & at least two or three screens playing funny videos. Employees are super friendly!! We sat at the bar & Trey served us a couple great citrus drinks!! He was very friendly and makes a great drink. I would recommend y'all ask for him! Heather served us our food & was super attentive. She was funny and genuine-she is the server to ask for when you come in. They serve lunch & dinner. I had a turkey avocado wrap with fries and my lunch mate had the grilled chicken & street corn. Both dishes get two thumbs up!! My wrap was more than I could eat so into a container it went. Harry's is the perfect spot when you don't know what you want for dinner. They have several menus with diverse options, but it's all great. Want burgers? No problem. Taco? No problem. Sushi? Great food, terrible service. BHG management should take notice of lazy, inattentive bartenders. Busy Friday, seat at the bar and quickly ordered a Beer. Bartender (Regan) never asked about food, and essentially disappeared. I had to hail a barback to order food. 25 minutes after ordering, food arrived; dropped- no questions about what else I needed, like ketchup, water (which I did, for the Fireside burger), and the extra ranch dressing ordered. Nobody checked in on me. I put down my payment card shortly after food was delivered. 15 minutes later had to hail someone, again a barback, not a bartender, to take it. I'm a generous tipper; would typically leave $6 for this discounted one person meal ($16 tab). They got $2, which is what they deserved. Management should take notice, of the bartender apathy. They were on phones and making jokes, being very inefficient behind the bar. Busy is good for them, but great service keeps restaurants in business. I'll go to other restaurants first, before returning. read more

It's been a few years since I've been to this location, but it's always been a success. So when our friends from out of state were in, this is where I recommend we go before they headed back home. It was a profound failure. It was a three hour journey for a 30 minute meal. First we sat for almost thirty minutes before we were waited on. Then our drink orders were wrong (no cocktails just sodas and lemonade), followed by 20 minutes after our drinks for someone to take our order. This was followed by an hour before our food arrived to our table. Items were incomplete and or wrong completely on 5/7 dishes. No one came by to apologize or even give a reason. They seem to find this horrible experience "normal". If you value your time, or your friend's time, or even your dignity to be treated with respect, then I caution you on this location. read more

Another great BHG restaurant! My husband and I went to Harry's last week looking for a good place to have dinner and watch the UK game. Harry's is a good median between Malone's and Drakes and has an upscale-casual atmosphere (if that is a thing). Harry's is a seat-yourself place, and we were able to find a table right away even though it was crowded. All tables have a TV view! There are so many options here as you can order from Malones, Aqua Sushi, or Harry's. I had the kale and quinoa salad, which is one of my favorites. It is filling without being heavy. Mike had the Lexingtonian salad with cheeseburger sliders- a Harry's classic. Our waitress was friendly and checked in on us often. We definitely enjoyed our dinner, our only complaint was that it was a little too noisy for us sitting near the patio bar. On our way out, we noticed that there is an indoor bar area that was quieter- next visit we will try to get a table there! read more

It's located right across from our neighborhood so when we're feeling indecisive we eat here since they have a little bit of everything. The place tends to be packed and you seat yourself so it's important to keep in mind that you may need to stand for a few minutes until an area opens that you can take. We lucked into a table that was just vacated. Despite being slammed our server was very attentive. We started with the potato skins which were cooked to perfection. For dinner I got the Texas Crunchy Roll. This is advertised as having a spicy sauce. I was worried that it might be too spicy however the level of kick was just perfect. Since this is a bar type restaurant it's important to remember that the noise level may be higher than expected, especially if there is a big game going. If the weather is pleasant then all of the windows will be open, which is quite nice, especially during mild summer days/fall days. read more

I tend to stay away from restaurants with lots of TVs that cater to sports crowds due to the noise, however this wasn't the case at Harry's. I am all about craft cocktails an Ms they certainty delivered with the Malone's Old Fashioned and the Billionaire's Coffee. I am going to make that one at home! During Lexington burger week my son and I ate at Harry's in Palomar Center. The burger was the BBQ Cordon Blue Burger. We truly enjoyed this burger with fries. Excellent like all of the other locations & jam packed today on Sunday! I love the Kentucky Roll & the Chicago Roll. Today I had the Chicago Roll which has a cooked Filet Mignon w/ asparagus & cream cheese since my friend doesn't care for raw fish so even the rolls can accommodate your tastebuds. I had my parents try this roll & they loved it so I highly recommend it for those trying to give Sushi a chance. The soup of the day was devine! It was cold outside & why had a beautiful beef stew. Stopped by Harry's for a late evening dinner as they were one of the only places nearby open past 10pm. We were able to quickly get a table (which are now separated by plexiglass for covid). Can you believe I haven't tried Harry's sooner? We love Malone's and often visit in Palomar, but we hadn't tried visiting the Harry's side until today. I was tempted to check it out because of the Lexington Burger Week menu, and I'm sure glad I did! Harry's has open seating so you can choose to eat inside or out on the patio, and their typical menu consists mostly of burgers, sandwiches, and salads. Today we tried the Neapolitan Pizza burger (burger week special) and, of course, we added our beloved Lexingtonian salad. Both items tasted great, and service was also great. We never wanted for anything because our server made sure we had everything we needed. I really enjoyed my first visit to Harry's, and I am sure it won't be my last. read more

The seating area is atrocious. The sun shades do nothing. I am wearing sunglasses inside at 6:45 pm. In the summer it's a wind tunnel with the fans on. I've never seen a worse wine list (most of the time they are out of whatever you order). This is quite possibly the worst experience I've had dining in the Lexington area. read more

I am giving 3 stars because I felt the service was lacking. We had to continually look for our server to help us close the windows when it was cold and blowing into the dining room late at night. The food arrived with cold fries that took 20 minutes to remedy because our server was flirting with a group of men at another table that wasn't in her section. Finally, when the check came, she gave it to me (the woman) while out with a man... When should the check ever be automatically given to the woman when out on a date? NEVER. Big no. This place always does a great job. There is a great variety of food from mini burgers to sushi to steaks. Chef Cupolo does a great job running this show. Now during the COVID-19, now more than ever we need to support local businesses. We called Harry's ahead of time and placed an order for burger sliders and the Lexingtonian salad. We arrived about ten minutes later and Carmen was so kind and polite and checked us in, allowed us to pay, and then within ten minutes had our order ready to go. The food was packaged where you could tell cleanliness and adhering to CDC guidelines was their top priority. Unfortunately I didn't get pictures of the food because it was so delicious smelling. The burger sliders and who doesn't love the BHG staple of the Lexingtonian salad. It has their special ranch that really makes the salad great. It also contains tomatoes and bacon. Wow has the quality declined at Harry's. Drakes has always been sub par at best, but Harry's, for elevated bar food, seemed to always be a cut above both food quality wise and service wise. Five or six years ago I was surprised Harry's wasn't the restaurant they took regionally to expand. Now it doesn't matter as BOTH are middling at best. The "seat yourself" policy at the door for Harry's leads to 10-20 minute wait times to even be greeted by a server after your party has been sat. Several past great tasting menu items are just marginal tasting at best and served Luke warm. The french fries are drowned/cakes in a truly overpowering and awful seasoning and when you ask for them to be cooked without seasoning the kitchen is so lazy they just dunk the previously old seasoned fries back in their their old fryer oil in an attempt to knock off the seasoning and you are left with something akin to Long John Silvers batter crisps. Drakes and Harry will go the way of Applebees and O'Charley's sooner rather than later. The question is......how quickly? I would say 2-3 years when people wake up or when they are offered better options, which I believe will be sooner rather than later. Do better! read more

I love that Harry's offers text pick up for food orders. They truly could not make the process easier for ordering food. Our order was ready within 20 minutes and they came out to the car to drop it off to us. I think this is a great idea. I ordered the chicken quesadilla. It is a huge portion and I was able to save it for the next day too. It is loaded with onions and peppers too. Although we ordered pick up food, I will be going back to enjoy Harry's outdoor seating and trying more menu options. read more
