I really love the area out front. Very beautiful water fountain. Super cute!! I am ambivalent about my visit though and how to relay it. So... I'll just let the review stand as it is! We were welcomed immediately upon entry and sat shortly there after. The hostess was friendly and allowed us to request where we sat. Our waiter was beyond awesome and if it was simply based on service and the managerial staff, absolutely, my review would be 5 stars, unfortunately it isn't. So I guess now to the disappointment, we ordered Dr Pepper's and a Sprite. Unfortunately, they tasted like mildew. Super gross...eww In addition, both the chicken and the ribs that we ordered were more than a little dry. Definitely not the best. The extreme pepperoni was better but super hard but edible. A manager passed by and she seemed very concerned and acted quickly in replacing with other drink options. A Black Forest soda and a ginger beer, and turned my Ginger beer (which is their version of Ginger Ale) into a Shirley Temple. They were ...better. She went so far as to remove the drinks off the tab. Thankfully So you see my dilemma, but we will see. Perhaps another day will yield different results. I'm so HANGRY right now!!!!!!! "DISAPPOINTED" and "DISGUSTED" are two verbs that are too lenient to describe my current experience with BJ's. Probably a series of words that aren't often put together. I've dined at several BI's and unfortunately, I've had great experiences in the past which had seeded the presumption that all BJ's would be managed similarly, regardless of location. Well, New Braunfels BJ's, all I gotta say is "BOOOO, on you! Yuck, gross and NO thank you!" Full disclosure, I did order from Über Eats but, they are not to blame. I am kicking myself for delving from my usual path for an awesome burger. Oddly, IHOP has the BEST burgers and without fall, PERFECTION!! EVERY BURGER, EVERY FLIPPING TIME!! So, anyone reading this knows that red meat prices have skyrocketed due to the screwworm or Bill Gates or whatever. It's really expensive to eat red meat! Until I get Alpha Gal from one of the too many deer here carrying the Lone Star Tic, I'm going to continue to get my dose of iron from that bloody, yum, yum, mouthwatering, juicy beef! That being said, it's not often I treat myself to a steak or a burger. When I do, I expect it to come exactly as I've ordered it. Oh, for shame that I expect something to be as described or procured as common sense would entail. So, when my cheeseburger arrived looking like a water logged atoll surrounded in a grotesque sea of sauces, I was left on my own island, in a sea of confusion drowning in copious condiments. Perhaps it just really solidifies the fact that we are truly living currently in Mike Judge's movie "Idiocracy". I'll explain. I ordered a cheeseburger cooked rare with ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise, and the BJ's special sauce. I don't know who is reading this and which one of you has worked in the restaurant industry, but if you have, you can probably tell where this is going. I've worked in that industry for over 20 years but, you wouldn't have to work one day in a restaurant to realize cause-and-effect or simple physics. When you package something that is hot in a closed container, it's going to sweat. This is why most crispy items can't show up at your house as crispy like they are in the physical restaurant. Even if it's not hot, a salad tossed in dressing will wilt and get soggy quickly. That is why the dressing is served on the side for delivery orders and often for dining in the physical establishment. Makes sense, right? Sooo, I ordered every sauce they had. Why? Because I'm an A-hole. No, I have no idea how the dish has been seasoned so, I like the option of sprucing it up, if needed. Besides, the sauces are free so, why not? Well, instead of putting them on the side, which they do, if you're dining in, they liquidated (literally and metaphorically) every single sauce, like a dumpster party on top of my burger! How do you think it arrived? Gross snd slimy. I feel bad for the poor burger. Its short life it had, was drowning in a quicksand of accoutrements that were never created to commingle simultaneously. This freakish bastardized burger was something that was totally inedible. Oddly enough, though whoever packaged the salad, they got it perfect! Salad dressing on the side lettuce was crisp, crunchy bacon, perfect amount of blue cheese crumbles, and red onion. Unfortunately, Uber Eats will not refund me my money for this burger and apparently it's because of BJ's policies. Perhaps that's why they didn't want to take the extra time to package up each individual sauce which, hint, hint , Mr/Mrs/Ms Manager!! You should have those prepackaged ahead of time so no one has to do it while they're slammed in the kitchen! It's called "prep". So, I hope my tale will save some tastebuds. Order the pazookie instead! Soooo, management is asking me below to jump through more hoops to do...what? read more

Went for a nightcap after our anniversary dinner, welp that was ruined, waited for about 5 min for someone to Come seat us at 1103, I had a strawberry lemon drop, and the prickly beer, which was amazing, what prompted these two stars was out the corner of my eye while sitting there awaiting our wings and salad, a medium Sized roach crawled along the side of the table where I was, I think it was at that point I lost my appetite, my server was wonderful though, she was friendly, attentive, and even killed the roach after I pointed it out As it crawled to the table on the side of us, $78 later we left read more

Today is my dad's birthday and for the past 2 years we've gone here for his birthday. He's gone now and we still are honoring him by coming here. Starting with the vibe, omg is perfect. It's calm, clean, good music, relaxing vibe. Very opening. The staff was welcoming and friendly. We were waited in very quickly and with a smile. No wait. Seated very fast. The food like always was incredible. I am a burger girl, but this time I got the smash burger and it was so freakin good!! The fries were crispy and perfect. SO DISAPPOINTED! We've eaten here a few times and have always had great service and delicious food. I decided to order some Togo ribs and calamari. The calamari was AWFUL. Dry, cooked almost to the point of being burned. I should have looked at them before I left because as soon as I opened it I could tell they were stale, overcooked and gross. Not even worth trying to eat after the first chewy, dry bite. Ugh. They must have been from a leftover order sent back. I checked the rib order and thought they'd forgotten to add the broccoli but no, the 4 spears they shoved under the ribs was there. Just an utter disappointment from a restaurant we really felt we could trust on a Togo order. With so many great restaurants in the area we'll think twice about going there again. We absolutely love BJs... BUT NOT this BJs. We had great service but the Fried Chicken Sandwich I ordered was super dry! The coleslaw had absolutely no flavor!
