Garlic knot. Doesn't taste house-made, more like Pillsbury.

Much better than my first visit! They have vastly improved. This is the best franchise Italian place around and they are affordable too! Check out their lunch specials. Much better value than Noli's. And their service is top-notch!

Welcoming and friendly staff with excellent recommendations. The garlic knots with olive oil, garlic dipping sauce is delicious, the house salad was fresh and crisp (try the homemade tomato basil dressing it so good even for dipping). We had the fried cheese raviolis that came with a cheese cream sauce; perfect amount for a nice appetizer. The eggplant Parmesan was delicious. The guys ate the other dishes listed and said they were delicious too.

We had Saturday evening dinner here. Pretty spacious place, the decor is lovely. Lighting feels comfy :) We received a basket of bread to start, bread was warm and delicious. I would really enjoy it with a small olive oil dip that has some seasoning. Seen the dip that at other places. The salad was standard. I ordered the Bella Sera Chicken , my boyfriend ordered the Linguine Puttanesca. We got the kids Ravioli, it was delicious favorite thing I ordered. The Bella Sera Chicken was good, not amazingly grand. It has a nice sauce that is lemon-y. Though it comes with capers and olives, I would change the olives to green and to way less and the capers I would go easy on that. The sun-dried tomatoes are also good but easy on those three flavors and it would be best paired with a fish filet, not chicken. But it was good again. The puttanesca from what my boyfriend said was great. Very strong fish from the anchovies. The service was very nice. Sarah was our waitress and she knows how to take care of her guest. She had an upbeat energy. And she was very polite and caring to our needs. The four out five is to let others know that this is a great place to try and to come back to, but keep in mind we aren't eating at a fancy restaurant, it was great for us. Wanted the food to be better in terms of balance cause I ordered a strong bold flavor plate.

We had our company Christmas party here, everything was great! Our drinks stayed topped off, food was delicious and prompt. Desserts on point, and the selection of cheesecake was plentiful. Amaretto cheesecake was perfection.

Dropped in since our plans changed and so happy we did. The update done on the inside from a hamburger joint to Italian restaurant is awesome. Plenty of tables and rooms for large groups. Portion sizes were large and everything was tasty. The bread both rolls in the beginning and the bruschetta was burnt but we overlooked the extra crispy when the main courses came. We will be back

Great food! Garlic knots are excellent. Ask for dipping oil with garlic. Yumm! Hubby had Soagetti and I had veal parm.

Now let me tell you about the food. We opened with the crab cakes - they were excellent. Hubbie ordered the Red Fish Pontchartrain and I ordered a custom dinner: Shrimp and sea scallops with the lemon asparagus risotto. Everything was spectacular: beautiful season, beautifully cooked, beautifully presented. However, I must warn you: portions are ENORMOUS. We had to take half of our food home. Still, we decided to order the crème brûlée. Highly recommended! Creamy and not overly sweet. The only thing that we're not outstanding were the bread and the coffee. They could go with a more rustic bread.

(we live in san antonio) but... the experience this time was just ok, not fantastic. despite hubbie making reservations 3 weeks in advance, and restaurant knowing it was a celebratory occasion, we were seated at the very first table - which faces the entrance. awkward location. we pretty much ordered same meal as last time. mexican shrimp cocktail - sauce was very thick in an off putting way, but shrimp was fresh and nicely chilled. hubbie got shrimp & oysters with fries. he's not one to complain much, but he said all were a bit greasy & not as crispy as he'd like. i had shrimp, scallops & broccolini. plate came with not very well prepared broccoli - with no mention from server before or upon arrival of switch. how can broccoli be both under & over at same time? unsure, but parts were very hard and others too soft, so it went mostly uneaten. i would have asked for something else if id known they didnt have broccolini. scallops & shrimp were well prepared, but light, velvety sauce from last time was replaced with slightly "gloopy" and a bit greasy sauce, didnt look or taste very appealing. brussel sprouts were drenched in some type of mayo sauce that was not mentioned on the menu. so "crispy" brussel sprouts were soggy. SO... how much of this experience was on us? we didnt complain, we didnt send back, but we would have had to send EVERYTHING back and this was our anniversary. we are not that picky that every dish needs to be perfectly prepared to our liking. but for is to encounter a problem with every dish? maybe just a bad night. but i dont feel like we received the upscale experience we paid for. only one thing was as fantastic as we remembered - the creme brûlée!

I love the atmosphere of the restaurant, it's got a home like feel. The staff always treats you like family. It's my daughter's birthday and she wanted to float down the river. So that means a trip to Clear Springs. First up a small order of onion rings. They were so good, the crisp outer batter and thick onions. Next up my youngest had the Shrimp Po Boy. It had a nice flavor from lettuce tomatoes and tangy dressing. The shrimp were fried well. My oldest daughter had the Fish Tacos. They were bright and fresh but needed a little more zing. My son had the Combination (fish and fried crawfish)- the crawfish were tasty and had a good batter. My Seafood Grill was amazing. The shrimp brochettes were amazing, loved the grilled catfish. I'm not usually a fan of blackened catfish but this one was good. My wife had the cup of Cajun Gumbo. It wasn't bad but it was chunky and that's not my style. We ended with the Chocolate Cake for dessert since it was my oldest daughter's birthday. It was the perfect end, the pecans added a saltiness that balanced out the richness of the chocolate.

Unfortunately, our experience did not meet those expectations. Upon checking in, we were initially directed to a table that had not been cleaned. When my boyfriend politely asked if we could be seated at a booth that was currently being cleared, the host initially agreed. However, she then seated two other guests, who were white and had arrived after us at that same booth. Given the circumstances and the subsequent request to wait for a different table, this incident opened our eyes to potential racial bias, and we felt it was best to leave and dine elsewhere. I believe your host staff would benefit from additional training regarding equitable service and professional conduct. It is truly a shame that our visit was handled in this manner, as we had hoped for a much more welcoming evening. I wanted to bring this to your attention in the hope that it helps improve your service for future guests.
