We came here on a snowy Sunday night for eats, drinks, and football. The game was on and the TVs and sound were on point. We only had beer, so no complaints here. The food was tasty, and we both ordered different types of chicken sandwiches--would highly recommend. Now, the service-- was TERRIBLE! I had to ask the manager who was working our section because no one brought us water or greeted us after about 15 mins of being seated. When the server finally arrived, he took our order and disappeared until I had to call someone to find him. When he came back I ordered another drink and it took FOREVER to come--it was just beer people! The bar was also not that busy. Whoa- idk why I agreed to go here. My sister was like BJ brew house and I was like RED LOBSTER; but since we were meeting my Dad for dinner I agreed to go. My chief complaint was how cold it was in there. The revolving door was closed so you had to pull or push with all your might to enter or exit creating a huge gust of cold air going over all parties heads. I had my coat on for like half the meal but remembered it was colder outside and tried to adjust. They were out of the first beer I ordered but the Nutty Brewnette was not bad, and the flight of Sangria that my sister ordered looked absolutely delicious. I ordered the steak and the char on that thang. Like I should have known when the waitress was like well done or medium well as the only options.I usually like medium or chef choice and that thing was BURNT to a crisp almost inedible and my sister was like omg say something. Just now left the restaurant. My husband and I were seated at a table by the host and we waited and no one came to take any order so we decided to leave. The restaurant was not crowded by any means, barely any one inside. The ironic part was that as we made our way to the exit, the host and a server who were sitting on a bench near the exit door wished us "Good Night." It's a little unreal just how terrible the service here is. I've never seen anything like it. And this is not a one-off, this review is based off of 15+ visits over more than a year. Something is deeply broken with their system. The only reason we come back is for a Pizookie and because we apparently don't know how to learn a lesson. Some things I've encountered here: - Almost as a rule, no waiter comes to the table until 10 minutes have passed at minimum. The place can be empty, it doesn't matter. - Wait time for food is equally unreasonable. I've waited an hour for a plate of nachos--and no, they were not remotely busy. - In general, waiters come by so rarely, and flagging down a waiter is both necessary and nearly impossible. On one occasion we waited 20 minutes to be acknowledged after being seated, and that was after flagging down maybe five different waiters and requesting that they call our server, until we called the manager. Ultimately the manager took our order and our payment, with maybe two other servers dropping off the food and drinks without a word. You could have lined up every employee and we would not have been able to point out our server. - Once asked for water throughout the meal every time we saw the waiter, got our first glass literally with the check. - Was told they couldn't make the nachos because they were out of their chipotle cheese sauce. Fine, we told the waiter we'd get two other smaller appetizers instead. When the food was ready (after of course an eternity) he came to the table with nachos and one of the other appetizers, no explanation until we caught him later and asked. Apparently they found some last drizzle of sauce and decided to adjust our order without asking. Emphasis on drizzle, there was so little cheese, it would've been better to drop it instead of "surprise" us. - Payment is always a hassle. Check gets dropped off, then radio silence for 15 minutes. After a night of unbearably slow service at least don't hold us hostage! And now to my last visit, which is absolutely my *last* visit. Slow service, yadda yadda, except this time the food comes out cold. Like I'm talking it's been sitting out so long the sauce is congealing. Was starving so didn't make a thing out of it, did not want to wait another hour, and besides the food isn't the main event here for us, the Pizookies are. Pizookie comes out: burnt. See picture. Flavor profile: ash. On any other day I might have just taken the L but after a night of cold dishes I was done. Called the waiter back, said, "I'm sorry but could we--" at which point he already starts reaching right for the burnt Pizookie to take it back and says, "No problem, I'm sorry." In other words he was aware he served us bad food, I didn't even need to explain. He knew, and just hoped we'd shut up and eat it?? It's crazy to me. The meal was so disgusting, I'm mad at myself for not returning the cold food too. And to add: the place was not remotely busy. I guess twentieth time's the charm, won't be back. I don't care what BJ's replies to this, if they even reply--this restaurant needs a reset, it's a mess. Save yourself. read more

First time at this location and had a wondeful experience . Service was excellent and food was ready very quickly. Came here on a Saturday afternoon so restaurant was not overcrowded. The food is delicious and I recommend getting the spinach stuffed mushrooms. The mushrooms has a pesto drizzle and it is was yummy in my tummy. I also had the chicken antipasto salad and it was fresh and delicious. There is ample free parking. It is definitely worth checking out. The service was great. Imagine a small child saying this. I requested my steak medium well but it was VERY well done. Chimichurri was entirely too oily. Calamari was too rubbery. There were two sauces for it. A group of friends came to BJ's for dinner and to watch game six of the NBA playoffs and at 11:05 which was the fourth quarter of the Taranto vs Golden State game game with the score at 88 to 88 the restaurant turned off all of the monitors and refused to turn them back on! "WHO DOES THIS during the playoffs????" There was no time to get to another location and there were countless people in the restaurant including us still eating and drinking! Everyone turned on their phones to finish watching the game as they finished their meals! The service was good and the waiter was helpful in recommending all courses. I ordered the burger and fries. The burger was over cooked for my taste, though I don't recall being asked how I liked it. The waiter was kind and knowledgeable of the menu which is amazing since there are some many options to choose from. You you like your wings fried hard. Went here for a birthday, and in the special requests, I requested a happy birthday cake that they never brought out. The lights in the restaurant are way too dim. We could barely see the menu. Multiple people were using their flashlights while in the restaurant. Service takes a long time. We were waiting a while for the food, and even the mixed drinks took their time to come by the time we were served the drinks it was already watered down. Food is overpriced for the quality of steak we had gotten. I paid around $35.00 for a 15-oz steak, and about 9-oz of the steak was fat and tasted horrible. The steak also had no flavor at all. I had to use the salt and pepper they had at the table to try and season it, but it didn't do it any justice. They also have a QR code there to pay online, which doesn't work, and the employees had let me know to just give them the physical card. Another thing is they have options on the menu that the restaurant no longer has. I tried to order the "Lucky Ducky" drink, which they informed me was discontinued. All the hype around the reservation and special requests and everything was there just to lure us to the restaurant because the service and quality is horrible compared to the way it's advertised. I should've known by the name and to think of a Costco restaurant or Walmart restaurant. The manager comes over She apologized for his response and she takes the drink off the bill but overall experience HORRIBLE I will never go back to that location. I would give it a try somewhere else, but the customer service needs a lot of help!!! And I feel the manager was very timid and don't know how to handle situations like that very well because she was just like oh okay yea we have a technician coming out for the dishwasher like it's a normal thing !!! Aas I'm sitting there waiting to go, I pointed out to her that the glasses that he's putting away that just came out of the dishwasher was dirty one had a mint leaf in the bottom of the "clean glass" another one had some other drink residue still in it. It wasn't salty it was extremely salty. The steak was deliciously and seasoned well but the ribs and fries were on a salt overdose. We also had the oh so popular Avocado Rolls. They were just ok.
