I love BJ's and this time we mostly came for their new biscoff pizookie which was delicious by the way. I've been to many bj's franchisees and some of the food items were not as good as I remember, but just a slightly disappointing difference. The food is always pretty good and filling and the prices worth it in my opinion. The sweet tea was disgusting. I do not know what is going on in the back, but that was the most disgusting sweet tea I've ever had. Don't get it. The ambiance's gives elevated sports bar it all depends on if there's something good on tv or not. I happened to go on during game 3 of the Knicks road to the championship which is where it can get rowdy. Service was good he was always there when we needed him. Came in with a friend to try the famous pizookies! We came on a saturday night and got sat within 5 minutes. Our server was friendly and attentive. The sampler did take a bit long to come out but the manager spoke to us without even asking and was super nice about it. When the food did come out it was hot and great to share for two. For the pizookies, the biscoff is a 10/10, and the favorite from the two. The dubai chocolate is very heavy and just tastes like a brownie to me but that is a preference thing. 7/4/26 Walked in waited 15min for service then to get rude service from the bartender/ server she had to many people assumed she was overwhelmed but I wasn't feeling the rude service so they lost business, because my sister and I walked out, and went to red lobster where the service was so pleasant and welcoming. Tuesday is our favorite day to visit BJs for $5 Pizookies! We brought friends who wanted to try their famous pizookies and they didn't disappoint. Someone of us took advantage of the $13 meal and personal pizookie deal, other ordered an entree. We ordered the loaded nachos and noticed it was smaller :( I ordered the fish and chips which was decent portion size. My son ordered their limited time Waygu burger and said it was pretty good. The highlight were the pizookies which was enjoyed by all. Service was friendly. TVs around the restaurant to watch sports (it was a great spot to watch NCAA mens basketball championship and Knicks games). We'll keep returning for those yummy pizookies! read more

We came in here while my car was charging and I was shocked how good it was. Very reasonable prices also. My wife and I both got this special that was entree and dessert for 13 bucks. I had the smash burger she had the chicken both were really good. Not salty or greasy and good quality. I was expecting like Applebees lol. But this was much better. Plus i had a couple of their brewery beers on tap. Not bad! And they played 90s music which I appreciate since I'm the one paying for the meal and the kids are distracted anyway. A random IG recommendation on my algorithm tipped me on this place and I've been looking for an excuse to head to Valley Stream at some point so coming here for lunch was the golden opportunity for it and I enjoyed my time here. The waitress I had, Parice is definitely a gem and of the best servers I've ever had as she was very attentive and brought my food in a timely manner. The food I ordered, she brought to my attention were both lunch specials which definitely saved me some money as opposed to what I already had in mind if I just ordered it straight from the regular menu. Scoping the place out while waiting for my food, it's pretty large, decorated pretty well and had about several TVs lined up in each section so this would be a jumping spot for a sporting event such as Super Bowl Sunday or the upcoming FIFA World Cup this year. Wasn't too crowded for there were about 5 other tables that were taken excluding mine. What I had for lunch was a Caesar salad as an appetizer, the All American Smashburger combo with fries and a personal pan pizza as an entree along with a cookies and cream pizookie for desert with Root Beer as a beverage. The food was absolutely sublime to the well made burger, aptly seasoned fries, the pizza with a mess of toppings on it and the desert which was modest looking but packed flavor and it was all for just merely $33 and change. No frills just quick bites, good drinks and a ton of sports on tvs. Came in for lunch and the food was decent. We order the sampler, a chicken parmesan, a chicken bowl, and burger. I enjoyed the Mediterranean chicken bowl I'll give it a 7/10 and all the pizookies were an 8/10. The sampler would be a 6/10 with the spinach and artichoke dip being the best item included in that bundle. We were seated fairly quickly and the waitress was at our table almost immediately. We come here pretty regularly since it's close to home, and it's always a good time. We came for dinner on April 10 and had a great experience. This time we had the buffalo chicken sliders (new item) and they were really good -- definitely something I'd order again. We also had the California flatbread pizza and BBQ wings fried hard. Everything hit. Wings were saucy just how I like them, fries were fresh, and the flatbread was a standout. Hubby also had a shrimp and garlic bread type of dish that he really loves, and it did not disappoint. I had the Hot Honeybee -- Daniel actually recommended it. He saw me looking at it and thinking about it and suggested I try it, and honestly, anything he recommends is usually spot on. Let me just say -- I'm more of a whiskey person than a bourbon person, but that drink would make me turn into a bourbon person. It was that good. Hubby had the White Peach Boba Rita and he liked his drink too -- nice and refreshing. Shoutout to our server Daniel -- always friendly, attentive, and just really good energy. Let me start off by saying the food was immaculate. It always is, without fail. The food is the one reason I come here. When we entered we asked for a table for 3. The host wasn't very hospitable. He was almost rushing us. The restaurant was not very busy at this point. When we got to our table he placed our menus at the head of the table and said "sit down" I almost laughed at how rude his demeanor was. The waitress was our saving grace. She offered water moments after we sat down and asked us if we needed more time to order whenever she passed by. This place is consistent!! Its large and great for large parties. The menu is large and has a little bit of everything. Wine list and beer list is plentiful! The lemon pepper - dry rub wings are one of my favorites. Salads are fresh and they are a nice size. I will say, the service is not fast. Servers are always friendly, but never fast!! And don't try to change something, because it takes extra long - to be fair, I think it's because things are always made fresh. Hopefully this is something they will work on. We were at the bar before others sat down and ordered, but they get their wings before we do? The bartender not once came over to make sure we were good or thought to go check on our food. Where to start... My daughter insisted we come here over some viral tiktok dessert. I've never tried it so i figured it can't hurt. It did.... In my opinion, this place is poorly run. Anything and everything we ordered took an exorbitant amount of time to arrive. Things would also not show up together, i. E the burger would show up but the fries would show up after the burger was consumed. I tried the ribeye . It wasn't edible and I tried 3 different corners of it. It was chewy, gamey and dry . You couldn't pay me to eat it. The deep dish pizza was just a mess on top of bread. It wasn't consumed. Skip the boneless wings, not edible. Funny thing is the onions and mushrooms for the steak showed up much later as we were about to leave the place. It's so disorganized. Corporate should come down and revamp this place. I placed an order through Doordash. After an hour DoorDash claimed my order was still being prepared. I called the restaurant and was in contact with (I believe his name was Xavier) who informed me that the order I had placed was picked up 20 minutes after it was placed. I then realized my order had been stolen by the DoorDash driver. I then called BJ's again and asked for a call once I replaced my order to know when the new order was picked up. Xavier called me as soon as the order was picked up and also apologized for the inconvenience I had - even though it was not the fault of BJ's. The waiters were friendly. Whike we waited for our food we went to the bar, I ordered the margarita flight. Out of the 4 one was ok thecrest nasty as hell. Whwn our food came we left. I was super excited to hear there was a BJ's restaurant relatively near my house (1hour) after trying a BJ's in Pennsylvania. I took the trek with a friend because their beer is fantastic. I even ordered a few 6 packs to take home from the one in PA. But I had to say my experience was night and day. It started poorly when they didn't have their signature porter. Things happen so I quickly picked another beer from their extensive list. Service was fine in the beginning, they even were able to change one of the big screens for us. It was a Saturday night and there was only one bartender on staff. It wasn't that busy, but I would think they would have had two on a Saturday night. Anyway, the bartender was extremely nice but was so slow. He forgot I had asked for help and also forgot my friends drink. My second beer was so flat and I couldn't get his attention and a replacement for like 20 minutes. The runner who brought us our food showed no emotion or responsive to our pleasantries. To make matters worse they didn't allow purchases of 6 packs which the other location did (maybe county laws). You can buy growlers but I'm not a fan of those. And It was the main reason of going because I love their beers but unfortunately their sub par service and food will not make me come back so I'll just buy their beer online. read more

Our company came across this place. Thinking it was some side hustle from BJ's Wholesales when in reality it isn't. But I must say. WOW. it's rare to have this phrase "Bang for your buck". Not sure if we landed on a lucky day. But, the portions are HUGE! and it's rare to say that coming from a big guy like myself. I recommend their Pizza. The owner clearly hired a great chef cause this tasted better then any other spots we've ordered before. Their pasta is classic, their salad was good. Dressing was a bit on the sour side but eh. The place was busy as usual for a Friday early evening. The service wasn't immediate. Being seated at the bar will garner you the most immediate attention. Our waiter (friendly) spent most of his time behind the bar. We were sitting at the high tops. Had to ask for utensils, never received soft drink refills. Menus stayed on the table, until finally another wait staff by the name Kit removed them. Our waiter not only got my pizza order wrong... I never received the correct one (Kit took the correct order) by the time others at my table were finished their entire meal. Kit helped us out while manning her tables. I've ordered takeout from BJ's a few times and dined in once. Each experience has been pretty good. From the food I've tried, the wings are pretty good. The root beer bbq sauce has a good flavor to it. Their lunch specials are tasty and generously portioned. And the pizookies are definitely worth it. I am pleasantly surprised! This is a chain and I usually avoid them but I must say I will come back. They have parking and that is always a positive for me ! The place is large and the lighting is pretty romantic and soft, the tables are comfortable and they have tvs all over to keep the boys entertained with the latest games playing. MARGARITA FLIGHT- I ordered this to try their variety of margarita flavors, the flight was of a great size for me and there was plenty of booze in the drinks, something I don't experience often in chain restaurants. I must say that it was a ok choice but even though all of them were pretty good, the winner for me was the boba peach margarita, I wanna come back there just so I can get that own full size. FRIED CALAMARI- it is a large portion and the sauces were pretty good, the calamari was not as crispy and a lot of it was legs, but the overall taste was good TRIO DIP - the dips were guacamole, queso and artichoke. I must say that all of them were good but the artichoke dip won my heart, I am sure that next time it will be the only dip I'll get, the chips were ok but I wish there was another choice of item, maybe vegetables just like the ones that come with wings would be nice. AHI TUNA SALAD- where to begin on this one. This is a nice and large portion, without the appetizers this in its own is enough for myself and another person. The salad itself was good and the dressing was very yummy. Now this salad was ok but had a bit of issues for me. There was way too many red peppers, these peppers are rich in flavor so it kind of hijacked the salad flavor a lot, if there were less of them I think it would have been better, NOW the star of the dish. The tuna itself was a huge disappointment. The amount of tuna was already not optimal for me, but what actually was the most disappointing part was the taste. It tasted very fishy. Almost like I was eating a fish market. It was not great but we talked to the server and in no time the manager came by to offer another choice, I was full from appetizers so I decided to just give up on the salad all together but my company asked to see the menu, it never came.... It was fine in the end for us as the appetizers were enough. We were not upset or anything, we were actually happy that they took the salads off the bill and were attentive to try to make it right. Ok this was a horrible experience. I wouldn't give this food to prisoners it was so bad. I had the chicken tortilla soup, they should name it the Dead Sea soup from all the salt in it. I also order the BJ's favorite pizza. I requested it be well done, it was barely cooked and tasted of freezer burn. The only good thing I will compliment this waste of food on is the staff.... We sat in the bar area at a high top table and were served by the bartender but even though he had to do a lot of multitasking he was still on point. The drinks and wings were pretty good I would definitely come here to watch a game and have a drink. The burger was just OK, it had a lot going on but it wasn't that great to write home about. It was kind of red in the middle but I didn't finish it anyway so I was fine with that. Overall a good option by the mall for basic bar food.
