Attended the Prisoner Wine event on 3/26/26. I really enjoyed the scallop with a spicy corn salsa. My med rare filet was overcooked, but it was very good with the espresso butter crust. Next time, I will order it rare as it keeps cooking on the sizzling plate. The mushroom ragout was average. The wines were great and the service was good. They should just dim the lights a bit, it's so bright on that room!

I attended the Caymus Wine Dinner (see photo of menu below) on October 9 at Ruth's Chris, and it was a satisfying experience. The Maître d' was gracious and led us to a private dining area set up beautifully for the event. The Lump Crab Bisque was rich and full of fresh crab, the Applewood Smoked Pork Belly was nicely presented, and the Center-Cut Filet with rosemary-charred mushrooms was incredibly tender. The table received family-style sides of Creamed Spinach au Gratin, which was a bit too cheesy for my taste, and Truffle & Bacon Twice-Baked Potatoes, which were just okay. Dessert was a Dark Chocolate Crème Brûlée -- flavorful but a little greasy. The Cabernet Sauvignon was my favorite wine -- spicy, dark chocolatey, and fruity. My least favorite was the Sauvignon Blanc, which tasted rather watered down. The Caymus representative gave an engaging presentation, but the pours were average, and there were no refills. The evening felt fairly-organized and enjoyable, and I'd consider attending another TasteMaker dinner if they increase their pour size and provide refills!

Great service and atmosphere. Our appetizers were awesome of tuna and crab cakes. Shared tomahawk steak. Desert was enough for three to share.

Excellent service...2-team service so you are always taken care of with constant attention. Attention to details for the way food is served is on the top of their list. Aside from the appetizers (ravioli, ahi tuna, crab cakes, and calamari) which were great, the hot plates you're given to put our main courses top the list. We ordered a porterhouse steak, Chilean sea bass and grilled shrimp - excellent! The sides were also tasty- creamed spinach, asparagus, and mashed potatoes.

I came here to say for my birthday and I left pleased with my meal. We were seated immediately without a reservation. The ambiance was quiet, low lighting but not too dark. Our waitress was excellent in servicing us. I had calamari as an appetizer, it was good with the chili sauce. I ordered the $55 meal, which was French onion soup, petite filet steak and brussel sprouts. I wasn't fond of the cheesecake, no flavor. Sorry, I forgot to take pictures when the food arrived

Had a good experience with the food and the service. Everyone is very friendly. Our server Rita recommended the dishes and sides and it was perfect. Thank you for a good dinner.

Yummy! I made a reservation for 2, they give you a 15 minute grace period. They give you complimentary bread. We started off with the crab stuffed mushrooms, it was so so good, definitely worth it. We ordered the porterhouse for 2 and asparagus. I was more fond of the ny strip side it was really juicy and filled with flavor. The ambiance was cozy, servers were friendly. Definitely nice to dine in on a cold day.

I was excited to finally make it to Ruth's Chris Steak House. I made reservations online for a party of three to celebrate a special person's recent 70th birthday. It was good to learn that Ruth's Chris gives 15 minutes grace period for dinner reservation guests, just in case something arises. We were seated within five minutes after arriving on time for our reservation. Our table was decorated with birthday confetti for the birthday gal which was very nice and she loved it. Our servers Belinda and Stanley were amazing and made sure that we were good the entire time. The food, oh my goodness, I think I've found a new love. The stuffed chicken breast with garlic herb chicken with lemon butter was so delicious and flavorful. I ordered garlic mashed potatoes which was great. My friend ordered the creamed spinach and sweet potato casserole as her sides. I was able to try them and they were really good. The sweet potato casserole was so good that I ordered one to go. Belinda sang Happy Birthday to my favorite person and brought her chosen dessert. Overall, my dining experience at Ruth's Chris Steak House was wonderful and I will definitely come back again.

Upon entering Ruth Chris, you can just see the elegance, it looks so beautiful inside the restaurant. They had soft lighting and mini spots for photo opportunities. This lovely French beauty our hostess Nakita was so nice and helpful as she let us know what the specials of the day were. Let get into the food ... delicious! We ordered the appetizers at the same time we ordered the main entrées. The appetizers came out fast and hot and a short time after the entrees came out. Steak came out sizzling and my salmon and shrimp plate was over 500° loved every minute of it. My favorite part or the night was my sugar rim Lemon Drop that bad boy was cultivated so nicely had me feeling the vibe. Honestly, I really don't have any negative comments to leave about this Ruth Chris so with that being said, let me know how you like the establishment.

Came here for my father-in-law's birthday dinner. It was a Tuesday evening and without a reservation, we only waited ~20 min. I prefer to go to steakhouses in Manhattan/Brooklyn that aren't chains, but my in-laws are closer to LI so we went here. The prices are regular steakhouse prices but the food doesn't give the "wow" factor. To start, we tried the French Onion Soup, Caesar Salad, and Veal Osso Bucco Ravioli. The soup didn't have the char on the cheese on top, but was tasty. Caesar salad was solid - can you ever mess those up? The ravioli was delicious (came with 5 pieces). We also got bread and butter for the table, a steakhouse staple which came warm and delicious. For mains, the 5 of us shared a Porterhouse (medium rare), and a Ribeye (medium rare), with spinach dip & potatoes au gratin for sides. Our waiter did say the steaks would come on a sizzling plate. Unfortunately the steak came cooked medium in most pieces... the meat around the bone in the porterhouse was medium rare but it was an uneven cook. The steak was not seared and it was lacking flavor (i.e. salt). Same with the rib eye. I honestly think I could've made a better steak at home. The sides were good though, but the potatoes au grautin was pretty oily and cubed versus layered slices. Our waiter was nice and checked on us often, and gave us a complimentary dessert for the birthday occasion. If you are looking for an amazing steakhouse experience, I'd probably look elsewhere. I've heard such great things about Ruth Chris, but we just did not experience that with the food (mainly the steaks which is what we came for!) not sure if it was an off night or what.

Consistency is key to any good restaurant. That's the first word that comes to mind when I think of Ruth's Chris. Chef and his team prepare everything to perfection. The meats are always at perfect temperature. The new items such as the scallops was excellent. Service at the bar is always great also. With Melissa running the front of the house, you are always greeted warmly and made to feel like your at a friends house. Our waitress Belinda is always helpful and professional. She really puts hospitality first. Great dinner as always.

    Seafood tower
    Lynn W.

We started with a seafood tower which had large shrimp, lobster, and crab..this was what you'd expect. Nicely prepared and easy to eat. Tomahawk steaks and porterhouse steaks were well seasoned and cooked. Steaks were served nicely buttered. We had creamed spinach, lobster mac and cheese, garlic mash, French fries as sides. Service was excellent- they kept checking to see if we needed anything.

    SIZZLING CRAB CAKES
    Robert M.

I have to say Ruth Chris Hands down has the crown for the best Rib eye steaks. Juicy, flavored so nice and the option to get a cowboy ribeye was a plus too. Crab cakes definitely the best in the game too. Big chunks of crab seared and not deep fried. Waiter was nice and very knowledgeable. Ambience wasn't the best kinda old fashioned but the food made up for it.

The menu wasn't overwhelming, and there were definitely many amazing options to choose from. We ended up getting the grilled octopus and burrata as starters for our table. The burrata I felt was the most underwhelming dish out of all the ones we had ordered as the bread underneath was toasted to the point that we couldn't really cut it or chew it because it was so crispy/stale and I think I would pass on this dish. The grilled octopus though? Phenomenal. I would highly recommend getting it as an appetizer for the table as the flavours of each component was just amazing and the octopus itself was perfectly seasoned and not overcooked. For entrees, we decided to share 2 pastas and a pizza and they were all amazing as well. I believe the pizza we had ordered was a spicy vodka pizza, and the crust was nice and thin and crispy, but still held up which is what I love! One of the pastas we had ordered was a ragu bolognese which was wonderful, but I think the star of the entrees was the Friday pasta special! It was tortellini in a mushroom cream sauce with lobster and other seafood and I loved how the tortellini's flavour didn't overpower the dish at all. For dessert, we ordered the cannoli cheesecake and the baked apple tart , and the apple tart definitely blew us all away! It was nice and hot on the skillet, and the flavour of the apple filling with the flaky pie/tart pastry was so delicious, especially with a bit of the melting ice cream on top! First thing we noticed, in the area we were seated at, right by the waiter station was a mountain, a big disgusting mountain, of dirty dishes piled up on display. Totally not acceptable. The food took a long time to come to the table. First the bread, then the appetizers, then the main. We sat there with a table full of dirty dishes the entire meal, no one checked on us and cleared the table. No one. Actually, nobody moved our appetizer dishes before the main dishes came, I got up and moved them to another table as the waiter was putting the main course on the table. It was comically unacceptable. Also, don't expect steak knives with your steak or chops, we had to ask for them; we were left to use the butter knives we had from our bread. Also, beware the fish special and the truffle fries, no bueno. The manager I spoke to was useless. It he didn't see all of this incompetence unfolding around him, he's an uncaring leader. I told him how I had to move dishes to another table and showed him them. He cleared the dirty dishes off of that table and asked us if there was anything else we needed. Yes, we were still waiting on our truffle fries. He brought them, and that was all he did. At least the main waiter removed the nasty fish dish from our bill. Avoid this place. It's too expensive for crappy service and mediocre food. It was the first time I left less than a 25% tip in over 20 years, the service was so terrible, I still feel as if I left too much money.
