I always look on the BJ's app. before going so I can see what items I will find a coupon for or simply make a list based on what is IN STOCK. HOWEVER, I've grown to dislike the app., whoever takes inventory to put IN STOCK indicator, and the STORE OVERALL. They deliberately have coupons for items they never stock at my local store, they state they are IN STOCK which is bait & switch! They are awful at changing these tactics and continue to have MANY ITEMS in sale or repeat the coupons, show they are IN STOCK, but fail to stock them, rectify it when I've asked a Manager, and DO NOT GIVE RAINCHECKS like they used to. STORE SUCKS and not renewing my membership anymore. AVOID THIS STORE until they get their act together. read more

I had a very AWFUL experience today at register 2 with a "Jamie Harlow". This young lady had nothing nice to say about not only her coworkers but also her manager. She would speak down on them to everyone who would listen. She was extremely snobby to me for NO reason and gave me dirty looks the whole time. After ordering a 3 foot Italian hero for a party, I can say being disappointed with the quality and customer service is a major understatement. When placing my order, I assumed a 3 foot hero would come pre sliced. When I brought the hero home and opened the box, I was surprised to see it uncut. I called the store to inquire about it and the kid on the phone didn't have an answer, saying he didn't think they did that anymore! I do not own a 3 foot cutting board nor had the time to cut pieces. I asked to speak to a manager , waited 10 minutes on the phone , no one answered, I allowed the phone to continue to ring until eventually it was picked up and hung up on me. It's BJs and I've been going there for over 15 years. Always clean and priced reasonable. I picked up just about anything and everything from this place....my clothing, my Kuerig, my 65in LED.... Never an issue with staff neither. Seems to have good employees and well run. I hope it'll be there forever. read more

Went in to purchase 3 laptops and an iPad. 2 laptops were out of stock, when the website they were in stock. Same thing with the iPad. Tried to purchase 3 laptops. Problem with credit card. Manager took over 15 minutes to come help. Very poor customer service. Won't be back. read more

been a customer there for 7 yrs. shopped tbere weekly for grocery and house hold needs. in the last 7 yrs i ve been going:*i would bring in a sealed coffee beans to ground. the people that check reciepts up front have always been nice and said sure. never once asked for a receipt or where i bought the bag of beans from. well, that certainly changed on 5/27/24 on nemorial day, those clowns gave,me a hard time and refused to allow me to ground my coffee beans, the ware house manager did nt apologize after i ve made a formal comolaint to corporate office: he questioned if i would tamper with my beans, like i would do that to get some one sick on purpose. never been so insulted as an RN. I will no longer patron at any trash Bj from now on. I ll just spend my money at Costco. read more

I've been to numerous BJ's and this is one of the best. There is never a wait when checking out, plenty of serve yourself registers and a couple of associate run registers. Staff is ok, but I rarely find any staff at any BJ's pleasant. The people at the door checking your purchases are by far nicer than the extremely unpleasant and attitude plenty woman at the Stoughton store (where there are always long lines at the registers and courtesy desk.). Have been to this BJ's quite often during Covid and it is not fully stocked but if you ask a store rep, they will answer any questions about stock. With that said when I spoke with a store rep, she pulled her mask down to speak with me. During Covid I wish she had kept the mask on. read more

BJ's is a great place to shop. The Taunton location is definitely one of the better ones I have visited. It did seem rather small in comparison to my local BJ's, but otherwise it's quite alright. Variety was pretty good and the store was extremely well stocked. I couldn't help but notice the sparkling floor either. The store was organized, and they didn't even have lines (ON A SATURDAY!). Being that I live near BJ's in Dedham and used to having to wait at least 20 minutes in line on any weekend, this is such a breeze. But really, if they have all 24 of their registers open and still have 20 minute lines (at least 4-5 people), what are they supposed to do. I can't think of an explanation. Also, the staff here are very friendly and take customer satisfaction seriously. The person who checks people in saw that I was returning something and immediately called the return person, so she was ready by the time I got to the counter. The lady at returns was very friendly and helpful with the return and helping me renew my membership. Anyway, this is a good store to buy food in quantity, technology products, outdoor stuff, health and beauty stuff in bulk, or ink. I would make a special stop at this BJ's if I were in the area again. If you live in the area, definitely choose this BJ's over the nearby one in Stoughton. read more

Worst bjs ever. Trying to buy something that is in stock but they can't sell it to us because it's in top stock. They told us to come back the next day and it will be down and this was after 3 and a half hours. So we go back the next day and yet again it's the same issue where they have it but cannot sell it because it's in top stock. We gave them 24 hours and they still couldn't get the product down. By far the worst customer service especially being that we PAY for a membership to shop here! read more

BJs is always a store that overwhelms me. Being tech junky,I am immediately caught up with the televisions. Once I am pass that section, I usually ease into the primary goal of this trip, shop for good deals in large quantities. :-) Overall, the store is usually clean and organized. Employees are seen throughout the store. A little concerning with checking out at the registers. I am usually in line for the self checkout lane. For the most part, it is very quick and less of a hassle. But, once there's an issue with an item, it seem to have taken several minutes to just find someone to fix what ever happened with a scanned item. It was more concerning when there were 4 employees standing there talking with a line of people waiting. Maybe I don't understand what was going on but one has to take things for face value when you see it. All in all, great store, fun place to shop, and walk around for exercise. Lol read more

For a lack of better words I was extremely disapointed in the services I received from the Bakery at BJ's in Taunton. I ordered a cake 24 hours ahead of time and told them I wanted a picture on it. When I called to make sure it was done the next day, the woman informed me that the cake was already written on and there was no room left for a picture. I had been planning this surprise birthday party for over six months and the cake was supposed to be a specific way. The bakery offered that they would give me a discount. But this was not the point. I ordered the cake in time and wanted it done a specific way. They asked if I wanted them to scrape the frosting off and place the picture over it but that it would be messy. The cake that I ordered was a full sheet cake for a party of almost 100 people. I got to BJ's to pick up my cake, accepting that they had written on it and no picture could fit, because the party was that day and there was no time to order a cake anywhere else, I picked up the box with the cake in it and blue frosting was all over the bottom and sides of the box, my whole shirt was covered in blue frosting. When I got to the check out and put the cake down I realized frosting was all over my outfit. When I looked down at the cake I realized that the hand writing and spacing of the lettering was completely off and looked like I could have done a better job myself. I explained to the cashier and the management that the party was now in two hours and not only did they mess up the picture the whole cake was ruined. They offered another discount but again, this was not the point. I would have rather payed full price to get a cake that looked half way decent than get a discount for a cake that looked absolutely horrible. People made comments about the cake at the party and it was very embarrassing. I spent a lot of time planning this party just for the reputation of it to be ruined simply by how bad of a job the BJ's Bakery had done. They were very inconsiderate about their mistake and thought that if they gave me a discount that would make everything okay. As I complained at the cash out register the woman across from me at the next register said " You think that's bad, I ordered a cake here for my son and they spelt his name wrong !" It is completely ridiculous that the BJs bakery doesn't take two seconds out to pay attention to detail on how people want their cake decorated when the customer has to wait 24 hours for it to be done. It was not about the money. It was much more than that. I will never buy another cake from BJ's and do not recommend ANYBODY else wastes their time doing so. If I could give this review a negative one star I would be more than happy to do so ! read more

I recently went in for a trial membership. Let me tell you, the extremely poor customer service and negative attitude made it certain that I would never be a member of BJs, especially this particular store. The main points of disgust were with the employee at the service desk. This is the person you see first and when you have a problem with the store. They made no attempt to welcome me to the club, explain club benefits, or make the experience at all remarkable. Instead, I was overwhelmed with negative comments, up selling my 3 minute old membership and asking that I pay money. The monotone drone out of her mouth was amazing. I left the desk feeling like I stole something and that I should be guilty to have a membership card. On the way out the door, I threw the membership card in the trash can and I only wish I could get back the 1-1/2 hours of my life I spent driving to and from this experience. read more

Great place to buy things whole sale! The only issue is sometimes you can get better deals if you buy items in singles instead of in bulk. They have good name brand clothes, but I always think theirs something wrong with the quality even though there isn't. You can even grab a phone from Verizon, while being here! read more

BJ's is great for buying in bulk. Larger families or shopping for a party/cookout will make out well here. We get all of our household paper products from BJ's, plus detergents and soda...the savings is much greater than buying from a regular grocery store. Sometimes the deals on electronics and furniture are better than those at Best Buy and Home Depot/Lowes. All BJ's Wholesale Clubs are huge...prepare to spend sometime here if you go, that is, unless you're just in & out for 1 thing. They'll give you a temporary pass for your first visit, but frequent shoppers will benefit from a membership. read more

This BJ's is TINNNNY... they don't carry a lot of brands, in fact that they dont even carry the BJ's brand of Dog food (one of the main reasons I purchased a membership), they also had maybe 3 samples - and none were of anything warm or delicious (power-aid, juice). Costco in Stoughton is much much better, they have liquor, a huge selection of everything, and tons of delicious free samples (cheese cake is the best). Since my dog still needs his food (and if you have a pet, you know how hard it is to change foods), I'm going to try the one in North Attleboro and hope for the best. read more

Wow Brandon K, if you found the Taunton store that appealing the Dedham store must really be horrible. Why would you even consider Bjs when you have the best club store in America (Costco) in the same town. I shop at the Taunton Bjs out of necessity, not for the shopping experience. Customer service at Bjs does not exist. You can't find anyone that knows where anything is, and they never seem to have more than 1 live cashier. and of corse let's not forget the insulting cart check exiting the store like you're some kind of thief. It is a clean store and well stocked but really it's a warehouse store and most are. read more
