I recently had a return at BJ's and wanted to share the experience. I rarely have a return, but this one was a bit of a doozy. I had bought a multi pack printer ink package approximately 6 months ago. When I went to install I found that it was the wrong one HP 94 instead of HP 96 black. Not only did I open the package, but the printer cartridge was open too. These are very pricey, like around $80. So I thought I would try to get an exchange. I dealt with several staff and supervisors at this Bj's who were friendly and professional then entire time attempting to assist me without a receipt. The GM even jumped in and they were looking back at transactions to my card 3 mos back, that is max. However, I knew it was further back than this. At the end of the day, nothing could be produced to show I ever purchased the printer ink at their BJ's, they are proprietary to each store. I knew 100% I did not purchase at the Norfolk store and told them the same. They worked on attempting to get documentation for the return and finally said nothing could be done on confirming it. At this point I was not going to be surprised if they told me this was the end of the story, but they did not. A manager by the name of Rhonda concluded that I had been a loyal BJ's customer for over 7 years and she would do a refund on a gift card. I was of course ecstatic. The full amount was put on a BJ's gift card immediately and after around 45 minutes I was on my way. When is the last time a store said your loyalty was worth something? Thank you BJ's, I will continue to be a loyal customer.

There's this scene in first season of the comedy series "Modern Family" that nearly made me wet myself. Mitchell and Cameron, the gay couple, are shopping in a giant discount wholesale store (like BJ's or Costco or Sam's Club). Mitchell has an attitude like he's doesn't want to be there and he's too good for it. He's the snobby one. Then the more he looks around and begins to realize he can purchase everything in football stadium-sized portions, everything that one could ever need from birth till death...he becomes obsessed and starts loading things onto their cart a mile high. That's me at BJ's. BJ's is my favorite of these store and I like the way this location is laid out both inside and in terms the parking. It's similar to Costco as far as the fresh food and beer and wine selection. I feel a little guilty about it, but I love it.

We especially like the BJ brands for tissues, toilet paper paper towels and Dish detergent.

How do I add a person to the BJ's account. I am primary card holder. Do I have to come in to add the person, or can it be done online?

You can do it online. After logging into your BJ's account, hover over your name at the top right and then click on "Account Information" from the dropdown. Click on "Membership Information". From there, you should see yourself as the primary…

From what I understand, businesses…read morewith an LLC and food license get the best pricing, but regular shoppers can still buy there too, just at a higher cost. Either way, this place is a goldmine if you cook in bulk, run food service, or just love having access to serious restaurant-grade supplies. They have just about everything you could want related to food, cooking, storage, prep, and restaurant operations. Meat, produce, dairy, dry goods, seasonings, containers, equipment, supplies, and all kinds of hard-to-find bulk items. It is basically a wonderland for anyone who loves food or runs a kitchen. Fair warning: bring a jacket. A huge part of the building is basically one giant walk-in fridge, and it gets cold fast. The outside looks a little rough and dumpy, but do not let that fool you. Inside, it is packed with food delights and all things restaurant. If you know what you are looking for, or even if you just want to explore, this place is fantastic.

The people are always running around on the forklifts beeping. Now the latest feature on one of the forklift guy has his radio blasting. I think the depot could make a lot more money if they would open up more lines, clean the parking lot be helpful when you come in there try to get things that the customers need. I think it's high time that management starts to think of new ways to maybe get robots because some of the employees are the rudest I've ever seen like I said I've been coming there since it is open so my career is almost at a close I just wanted to give this review so that maybe the future could be a little better at the depot but it's a rate it's going now. It doesn't look too good thank you hopefully someone will see this. Who cares

I knew where everything was located. I bought all my eyeglasses in their vision department. They had great prices, frames and service. Since I've been retired I've kept my card but do much less shopping there because of the distance versus a rival warehouse store. There are items that Sam's carries that I can't find anywhere else. Their low calorie fudge bars are amazing. Fruits are excellent as are the large containers of thin sliced deli meats. They're perfect on Sam's rolls that come in large bags and stay fresh long periods of time if kept in the refrigerator. Heated a few seconds in the microwave before use they taste as fresh as when bought. The two items are perfect together as ham or roast beef rolls for holidays. Don't forget about the warehouse size bags of Sister Schubert frozen yeast rolls. It never hurts to browse the clothing and books. In fact, browsing the entire store might turn up items that are newly stocked. The location is on the southeast corner of S Plaza Trail facing Virginia Beach Boulevard. If you continue across the Boulevard , S Plaza becomes Little Neck Road. Fill up with gas and you're on your way. Thank you Sam's for all the decades of convenience in purchasing.

I was glad it wasn't overly packed like it can be sometimes in there. They had some ham and cheese croissants for breakfast that looked good, some new dips and whatnot. The take and bake section was looking a little skimpy, so I guess we came to late. There weren't any samples either, so I'm not sure if they don't do that on the weekends. I've been waiting to get a card because their normally out, so fortunately they had some this time. The customer service representative was nice. I'm so glad no cell phone salespeople stalked me through the aisles like last time. Lol. It was pretty peaceful without that. There were a few meats that were on clearance and the veggies and salads were reasonably priced. There were a few new things that caught my eye. The deep dish pizza looked good. If my freezer wasn't so full I would have gotten it... The self checkout is pretty simple. If you're paying with cash you will have to go to a different register for a cashier to check you out. They also have rewards you can earn which I wasn't aware of. I was tempted to get a slice of pizza when we left ,but I was a good girl today. Lol. There was a little line, so I passed. The lady at the door checking receipts was really nice! Very upbeat and smiling! Check them out!!

Before I could get in the door good an Asian woman jumped up and told me "We don't have anything above a 1x here" Taken aback by the nerve of this woman I immediately walked out in my shock. Damn! What a first impression. She didn't know what I was doing in there. I could have been looking at accessories, or buying clothes for a family member. I mean this woman did not greet me. There were no niceties exchanged. Did not ask how she could assist me? I would have been fine with her not saying anything at all, let me do my browsing, and dip. After pondering upon what happened I decided to call and alert a manager to my experience. The same woman answered the phone. I asked to speak with a member of management. She asked for what. I explained that I had a complaint. She told me to call back tomorrow morning. I asked who I would need to ask for. She acted as if she did not want to give me that information. Then she acted as if she didn't know the managers name. She finally said Kim, then Kimberly. I then asked her name and she asked why I needed her name. I explained that it was for documentation purposes. After some hesitancy she finally said her name was "Ok". I feel this experience was a form of body shaming. What business does that? I can't with these folks and their micro aggressions. I will be calling tomorrow morning but feel my concerns will not be heard nor will my experience be validated. Do yourself a favor and don't support this store.

I was moving so quick and I wasn't even paying attention to the lady checking when I first brought them. I came back to get a different size, tthe lady Tessa or Tess (short mexican lady.) argued with me before even making it to the register, and asks for my receipt as if i stole or something! WHEN ALL I WANTED WAS A SMALLER SIZW. so we were there checking them and realized they had marks on them so she explains how she shouldn't have sold it to me with these stains. (Why are these even back on your racks? Is my question. ) so she goes to finally call this chinese lady (i guess she was the manager) so they come up to the front and they literally argued with me about how I couldn't get the pants I tried returning back, NOR could I get a smaller size. The lady who purchased my pants earlier was definitely unaware of the marks as well as I was. but the fact I was really just trying to get a smaller size and it took them a whole 10 minutes for the chinese lady to finally allow me to get another size. It was unprofessional because shorty who was mexican really did not want to give me a smaller size. It was ridiculous. over nothing they barely understand their way of talking, and they made no sense.
