So I really love bagels, especially a classic Lox NY styled bagel and this is definitely one of those spots. I'm loyal to my New Yorkers so there is one bagel spot in Maryland no one has yet to beat including Bkd, but they do a fairly decent job. I ordered online and everything was ready within 15 minutes which is great since I only had a 30 min lunch break. It's a small, corner store with limited seating and hours. I ordered something that was an eve thing bagel and included avocado and eggs (like an avocado toast but on a bagel) and loved it. I will say they need to work on their beverages though. My matcha tasted more like just oatmilk if anything.

They are only open till 2 pm. Very open space inside and it's a little loud. The staff was friendly and helpful. I just got 2 bagels to go with plain cream cheese and pumpkin cream cheese. I'd go back just to get the pumpkin again. The cream cheese is on the fluffy side and both were good. Lots of good options if you want a sandwich. They also had coffee but I did not try it.

One of the worst bagel I have ever eaten, basically got TMJ after biting into one. The bagels weren't even fluffy or soft, and keep in mind ya'll we got here in the morning, and the only thing that was good was the strawberry matcha iced latte that i got. Both bagels were so chewy and hard, our bill was around $40 bucks and wasn't worth it. Hot n Bother - on everything bagel, it wasn't not it. It was so tough, super dense and the only thing that sort of save it was the hot honey. Just to keep it moist. Save your money and head to some where else. I had much better bagels than this and if you like dense and tough bagels, this is your place.

Such an easy location to reach, it was very clean and modern inside. I wasn't sure what to order but the lady at the counter recommended a drink (not pictured, but it was a strawberry matcha) and two different bagel sandwiches. She was very nice!! We got a customized bagel sandwich (sausage, egg, cheese on an everything bagel) and a "hey girl hey" on a sesame bagel. The bagels were delicious! They were on the pricier side either the two bagels and the drink being 37-39$ (I can't quite remember). But we will definitely be back to eat the menu!

everything here looks very modern clean lines and many options to choose from. The sandwich I ordered did take a little bit of time to get made so if you're in a rush, I would choose something that does not necessarily have to be hot. There weren't many tea options which sucks a little bit because every coffee house or bagel shop should have a variety of options when it comes to teas and coffee. must say they pay attention to detail when making the sandwiches. Everything was wrapped tightly and so soft and yummy. Great service. I will give it another try looking forward to some of their homemade cream cheeses.

This is the largest of their three locations and also the busiest. Expect lines, especially on weekends. This plaza is really busy since Trader Joes became part of it. Bagels are great in texture and flavor. They are decent size but not too big. I especially love the flavors of their everything and their onion bagels. However, I wish they had a pumpernickel option. Sandwiches are good and they have lots of preset options or you can build your own. Coffee is good not great. Prices are reasonable for plain bagels and a little high for the sandwiches. yummiest bagels in the noVA area! Locally know in the Old Town Leesburg location, they have opened a bigger location and this place is still amazing! We got an everything bagel w EGG WHITES, avocado, and micro greens. The open toast was amazing! Crunchy, flavorful, and delish! Def check them out!

BKD Bagels was a great find! The location is clean and spacious. it does get a little loud, but since I was grabbing my bagel to-go, it wasn't a problem. I got the spicy everything bagel, and it was even better than I expected. The bagel itself was soft and fluffy, and the garlic and herb cream cheese paired perfectly with it. They also have a great selection of bagel sandwiches and coffee options. I'll definitely be back again soon!

Nothing I ordered was done correctly, my bagel wasn't toasted, my 16oz latte that was supposed to have an extra shot, vanilla (2 pumps) and cream AND whipped cream was a sad half cup of milk and one sad attempt at a shot of espresso. My bagel wasn't toasted, the entire thing was cold. I called to complain about the latte as I was trying to fix the mushy breakfast sandwich myself and was told by "Thai" and the general manager "Emily" that I was being rude. Thai actually said I was hostile after expressing my complaints. He definitely didn't like it when I turned his own adjective around on him. This place has the WORST customer service and clearly based on other reviews doesn't understand how to toast a bagel. Here's the pic of the order that EMILY the GENERAL MANAGER claimed they make all orders exactly as requested as well as the mushy bagel sandwich I paid over $20 for

I grew up in the tri-state area, so I'm pretty picky about bagels. BKD offers the best in Loudoun, and adds some unique flavors too. I'm a big fan of the spicy everything (with red pepper flakes), and there's also an Old Bay variety. The coffee is pretty tasty too.

Yummy food, fairly quick, clean place! My three year old gobbled her sandwich up! Food was delicious!

I got the vanilla latte with oatmilk and can say with confidence it's one of the best cups in NoVa. I'm almost sad I know this exists now, because I'm going to have to schlep to Leesburg way more often! We came on a holiday but it seems lime a good spot to bring a laptop and get work done. Didn't get to try food or cocktails this time, but the selection seems nice. Excited to go again!

W&OD trail is a few feet away you can see the sign from the cafe. The interior was quite hipster. A good amount of seats inside and outside. The place was crowded in the morning but they had enough staff take care of people. I got my cortado in like 2 minutes despite the amount of people in line. They work fast. The cortado I got was okay. It's not something I'd drive to Leesburg for. My friend said the matcha latte is good. The breakfast other people were having looked great. Parking wasn't easy. I had to get past all the new apartment buildings and park at Market Station and walked a block. The bouquet of flowers here look very unique.

From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels genuinely welcoming -- warm lighting, a relaxed vibe, and staff who actually seem happy to be there. The coffee is exceptional. My go-to is their latte, which is consistently smooth and perfectly balanced -- never bitter, never over-roasted. It's clear they take real care in sourcing and preparation. The espresso has great depth and the milk is steamed just right every single time. The space itself is cozy but not cramped, making it ideal whether you're catching up with a friend or settling in with your laptop for a few hours. The pastries are a lovely bonus -- fresh and worth every bite. Leesburg has no shortage of coffee options, but Second Nature stands apart. They also had an osmanthus flower drink and a signature drink with grapes that was very tasty as well. The hands on part was my favorite. They walked us through how to properly whisk our own matcha and let us practice the technique ourselves. On top of that, we got to sample a variety of their teas throughout the class. The owner clearly knows their craft. Their in-store matcha has actually won awards, and you can taste the quality difference. Our host, Cody, was incredible and super knowledgeable about all things tea. He guided us through everything from the origins of matcha to how to make it ourselves at home. It was especially helpful to watch him make the drinks and see the proper technique for whisking matcha and what temperature water we should be using when making our own, etc. For the tasting itself, he made us 4 different matcha drinks - all of which were soo good!! It changed my perception on what good matcha drinks can taste like and I think has increased my standards (for better or for worse lol). If you love matcha, interested in learning more about it and want to try some different matcha drinks not offered anywhere else, I highly highly recommend the Matcha Lab.
