They designed and prepared funeral arrangements for my younger sister that were unusual and exquisite. They made an angel with wings that looked like you could pray to it. Just stunning and a memorable piece. We know that flower designs are expensive but not only did I receive a fair price, the service and the attentiveness of the staff were outstanding. This beautiful flower bouquet was delivered to me from this florist. While the bouquet is nice, they were supposed deliver it to me on my birthday, however, they delivered it a week early. They were given specific instructions by the sender to deliver on the appropriate date. I'm not sure how they mixed it up. The other thing is that some of the flowers started wilting within a few days. I was a bit disappointed. The flowers were pretty and looked expensive but I hope they don't keep making this mistake. read more

As I was walking home from grocery shopping during these chaotic time, I saw a sign outside BKLYN Bloom offering beautiful free bouquets for people to take so that it can "brighten you or your loved ones day". A gentleman was bringing out big bouquets of flowers and urging people to take them. It really touch my heart and gave me faith in humanity. It truly is the random acts of kindness that makes me want to pay it forward and lets me know we are going to be ok at these rough times. I took a bouquet of beautiful lilies and hydrangea home and gave them to my mom, and I have to tell you the smile on her face. She's been stuck home for a whole week. She even FaceTime my aunt to show her the beautiful flowers and shared their kindness. Sadly they will be closed now but when they will be open again I will definitely be back. I would totally recommend this place for flowers because their flower arrangements are beautiful but more so, they show kindness, compassion and integrity during hard time and that's the kind of business we should support! So, I was going on vacation and thought it'd be cool if I had flowers delivered to my girlfriend while I was away, you know just to be cute. I went to Beachview Florist, ordered and paid (in full) for the flowers prior to my leaving the states. It was a simple bouquet, in a vase, nothing crazy. I set what day I wanted to have it delivered, and wrote it out myself on the receipt. They ensured me it would get delivered. It didn't. Not only did it not get delivered, I had to spoil the surprise and tell my girlfriend about the flowers so that she could figure out what the hell to do. (because...I wasn't going to pay 3.99/min to figure it out and get screwed out of more money because of their incompetence.) They delivered it, eventually, on the day after I returned. They did not mention why it was late, and I did not bother calling them to demand a refund because I just didn't feel up to it. But I can promise you I won't ever go back here. read more

I stopped in the day before Valentine's and placed an order to be picked up the following afternoon. When the next day rolled around, I was ill and unable to pick it up myself. Figuring that they're only a few blocks away, I called early in the day to see if they could deliver the flowers - which were supposed to be a Valentine's Day surprise for my wife when she got home from work. The person I spoke to said that, while they couldn't guarantee a time, they would get the flowers to me that day. Long story short, after many unanswered phone calls they never came and I was forced to ruin the surprise. I had to pick up the flowers the next day in person. Much like with other reviews I've read here, I don't think they really understand how big of a failure it is to not come through on a special occasion and how a few extra flowers (as a consolation they gave me 15 roses instead of a dozen) doesn't really make up for ruining a surprise. While the employees didn't seem extremely rude or anything, I did think it was impolite/ poor customer service to not even say "I'm very sorry," or "my bad, sucks to have that happen on Valentines." I am a wedding photographer, I have worked with many different florist over the years, I would have to say that Beach view is one of the best, I worked with them this past month, brides flowers were on time to the brides house which makes my life easier. The bridal bouquets were not soaked with water like they are from ever other florist, which sucks because it leaves wet stains on the brides and bridesmaids dress. Bridal bouquets are always large beautiful and the flowers are always fresh and tight it's a pleasure to work with a professional florist at the bride isn't upset after she gets her delivery that wedding morning. I ordered flowers over the phone yesterday for a cousin's birthday. It was 3:00 pm and I wanted same day delivery and I spoke to Ivan and he said yes. The delivery guy called me at 5:00 pm to tell me that my cousin no longer lives at the address I gave them, how embarrassing, I didn't know they moved. I called Ivan this morning with the new address and within an hour they delivered the flowers.
