Stumbled upon this gem randomly. Bc the original breakfast spot I was planing on going for my weekend trip wasn't open yet. And glad it wasn't ,bc BVC was amazing. Food was great, Coffee was great and the Service was great. The food was just perfect sized for the price and delicious.

Quiet, we had a great time celebrating a birthdayna Friday Morning. Their specialty drinks were full of flavor and the food was just as good, everyone in the group was raving about their drinks. I tried the BV latte and the Chai , both were great. The avocado toast was amazing a must try. The b'day girl received a free drink, that was super nice of the staff.I'm waiting for the next visit to try something else.

I wish this place had longer hours! Gem of a cafe in Newburgh.. the food is absolutely delicious, with vegetarian options that don't feel like an afterthought, breakfast here is scrumptious! Sitting at one of their rustic picnic tables with my dog, stuffing my face with a portobello BLT -- they even roasted up some chicken breast for Boba, who enthusiastically rates this place 5 PAWS!

Only fantastic biscuit in town. Everything was great as was the staff. We had the egg and sausage biscuit sandwich and house breakfast sandwich. There is a genius behind their mix of drinks-- for example the lemonade pomegranate drink and the house latte. espresso/ chocolate mocha/ white mocha. Sweet but balanced. Nicely decorated--- trendy couch small lounge area with surrounding tables. And modern art by black artists. Go here!

Such a local love you can see that the community really supports this location. But that being said they are very welcoming to visitors and first timers. I've been twice and have enjoyed the regular latter and the matcha latte. The girls I was with both got bagel sandwiches and said they were very good

Shrimp and grits - with a few bites already gone ;) very good!!

Super impressed with Blacc Vanilla Cafe! Stopped in yesterday for a coffee, chia and a corn muffin, and saw the rest of their menu so decided we had to come back today for breakfast and I'm glad we did! The service was great and everything was delicious! I got the shrimp and grits and was not disappointed!! Next I want to try their Buffalo Mac and cheese! All the food I saw at other tables looked amazing too! This is a great local find!

Hubby had the burger - sans bun (gf) he called it "good and tasty." I can vouch for the excellent crispy hot fries. I had a special risotto - with savory veggies, crunchy crispy onions, cooked al dente - perfect. * We shared the cheesecake which could be delivered gluten free simply omitting the gram cracker sprinkle - creamy cheesy deliciousness. * Our first time hearing the Jack Grace a gentle blend of country, rock, and bossa nova made us fans. Apple Music does not represent what we heard. LIve was better. We will be back and recommend the food and the music! Nice bar, the tight seating in dining area but does not take away from atmosphere- feels more intimate. Excellent attentive service.

But when I want to have an elevated experience with a nod to fine dining, this is my go-to. I always bring friends from out of town here and everyone is impressed. The bartenders make the best martinis and Manhattans you'll find, along with a seasonal cocktail menu that features something for everyone, including mocktails. When I don't want a full dining experience but the hubs and I have a babysitter, we like to sit at the bar for martinis and oysters - SO FRESH! If you don't do oysters, anything on the appetizers list is a wonderful light bite. I don't know what kind of magic the chef uses to make the salads but they are always simple, yet stunning. For dinner, the steak is hard to pass up if you eat red meat. I usually get the single serving NY strip, which is incredible. You can't go wrong. I'm excited to try the porterhouse for 2. My mollusk loving friend raved about the mussels and the fish selection is fantastic. I'm not a big dessert person, but splitting any of the desserts is a treat. Alternatively, the digestif selection doesn't disappoint. The bartenders and bar manager, Nick, are helpful in guiding your taste buds to the right choice. Bud, the owner, whose previous establishments can be read about in some respectfully placed articles around the restaurant, is always accommodating for the busiest place in town. It's nearly impossible to get a seat on Friday and Saturday nights from 6-9, but he will be honest and create a space at one of the little side bar areas if he can. The ambiance is sexy and sophisticated with a touch of whimsy. The toilet paper holder in the restroom always makes me smile (IYKYK). Having been to this restaurant many times, you'll start to see familiar faces as there is now a strong regular crowd. The community and connections that I've found while at Lyonshare have enhanced my experience of living in Beacon. Oh, last thing - brunch is a can't miss, must do culinary event.

One small heat pump a/c hanging on the wall in back of the theater with hundreds of people crammed in soaking wet with sweat. It's great beyond that but it's like they're practicing to be a theater. There's a Mexican restaurant and Tavern right next door, which are nice amenities. There was also plenty of parking and the outside was well lit. The Theater itself felt brand new. It was super modern and clean. There was a small bar with various drinks. As far as food, I only saw candy and chips listed. Water was also $4 and came in an environmentally friendly bottle. Bathrooms were downstairs, which wasn't an issue for me but could be for someone with limited mobility. If you have limited mobility and plan on visiting, I would call to ensure the restrooms can be accessed. The room where the musicians perform is large and there is a small seating area upstairs, which is a different, more expensive ticket. I did see about 5 or 6 stools downstairs for those who need to sit. Unfortunately, the main act was unable to perform but the theater did send out an email several hours before the show started to let guests know their options so that was appreciated. Overall, it's a really nice venue for a show!
